My stay was only for one night for a reunion but, the staff was so friendly and helpful. My room was very nice and clean and the the free breakfast was great! Wonderful value for the money.

Our room was non smoking. The entire second floor showed non smoking rooms but the cigarette smell throughout the hallway was overwhelming. Had a quarter of a roll of toilet tissue and no extra rolls.

The room and accoutrements were very nice. When attempting to use the bath tub, discovered the overflow valve was MISSING and the jacuzzi function was inoperative… After taking a warm bath, attempted to call the front desk to report the equipment deficiency only th discover that the telephone was DEAD! There was no emergengy communication capability in the room! I used my cell phone to call and report both of these issues. In the morning, I spoke with the day Manager and he was neither surprised nor enthusiastic about correcting either problem.

The bathroom was so small, hard to move around. The room was small. Phone didn't work, sink was clogged. All in all I think the age is catching up to it.

The pool was very relaxing, staff friendly and knowledgeable, clean rooms and great bath 🛁 tub!! Bed was comfortable, AC worked almost too well. Coffe pot in room. I will get a room with a view and a balcony next time.

Extremely outdated. Wall paper peeling off, toilet paper roll fell off the wall, lights didn't work, lampshade had mold, apple juice was disgusting, frogs took over the poop area. Seemed like more things were broken or lazily "repaired." Would not recommend or stay there ever again.

Although our room was a bit small and we had a shower/no tub, this hotel was well within our tight budget and worth more than what we paid. The front desk clerk was kind, friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! A very good deal for being near the beach!

I live this hotel. It was only a few miles from cherry grove and sunset beach and Myrtle Beach. Good seafood restaurant. Shop and ice cream only a few driving miles away and a fun putt putt right next door. Hotel was a little dated and needed some slight maintenance upgrades but overall it was comfortable clean and safe. I would definitely stay here again

The room I was assigned was incredibly damp and musty with the AC on. The mattress was dead. I ended up cutting my trip short and driving home early, rather than stay a second night.

It was a good stay. We just needed a place to spend the night after a night on the town. It was quiet enough and clean. The bed could have been a little more comfortable, but it wasn’t bad. I would do it again.

It might be a good idea to set up a nice smoking area away from the front entrance.

Easy check-in through Expedia. Room and bathroom were fine. Did not have hot water in any of our showers but did not ask to see if it could get fixed. Golf course and mini golf definitely needs some maintenance as far as the netting and overgrowth as of 8/3/24.

Look at the cameras the night of my stay. People literally making out upstairs in the hallway on the chair/sofa. The rooms smelt like horrible men's cologne. I had 2 rooms. Mold around the shower caulking.

Room Carpet was filthy, not even vacuumed. over all condition of room was below average.

We were greeted at check in by Daniel. He was very polite, courteous, and super friendly. Daniel made the check smooth and easy. We came down a few times and each time he made sure to greet us. The room was adequate and clean. The motel was quiet and beds were comfortable. Daniel in closing is a good asset to sleep in. So many people act as though they hate doing there job. He was opposite. He works at night he said.

Upon arrival the person working the desk was lounging on the couch with a hoodie on and it pulled up, very much acted like we were inconveniencing her. Get to room and the light switch is noticably not flush against the wal and it looked like a hole along it. Room was very small, didn't really have enough space to have our 2 suitcases out unless they were in the single walking path. Pillows were so malleable and crap that I literally had to get a neck massage after 2 days. Has washer/dryer but not willing to convert dollars to quarters to do a load.

The guy at the front desk was super accommodating and the lady working the continental breakfast was great too. He let me switch my room 3 times because of a room smelling like cigarette. A lot of construction workers stay there so it kind of smells. Not sure I’d recommend it.

The front desk staff were very kind. The pool and room were clean. One of the reviews said there wasn't a door for the bathroom. There is, its a pocket door. Shower/toilet area is a little small but it was clean. There were no bugs of any kind.

The hotel was ok but nothing special. The price was a little high for one night in an average hotel. Our room didnt have a bathtub which is odd. Only a shower.

Liked that it was close to a lot of things but wish that for longer stays that you’d be able to get your room cleaned once a day at least but not sure if it’s for some other reason like cleaning the rooms in the mornings only on weekdays and only cleaning them after check out. Overall it was decent, me and my s/o enjoyed our stay and vacation together. Did a lot of things together and loved Cherry Grove Beach!
