We already can’t wait to come back! The credit for Sweetie’s Pies Bakery downstairs was such a treat and our stay was so lovely. Thank you to the staff who showed us the best time!

The facade of the hotel was charming and the location was perfect for walking downtown. The staff offered a very warm welcome! Breakfast from the bakery nextdoor is included in the cost of your stay.
Some parts of the hotel felt a little run down... but it is an old hotel and a more affordable option for downtown. Our biggest complaint, however, was the size of the beds. We booked a room with two queens and we were shocked to find the beds barely looked like fulls. I confirmed with the front desk that I had booked queens... so I'm not sure if hotel queens are different than ones you buy for homes or if they just put us in the wrong room? I've never seen such small queen beds! :(

The Comforter was too hot, so we took it off the bed and used the blankets provided.
Easy fix, the fridge door was blocked from opening by a wood block. All in all, It was a good stay.

Excellent location in downtown Napa with many restaurants in walking distance which is nice after wine tasting through the valley. The historic buildings are pretty cool too.

I thought the location was awesome, easy parking, friendly staff, but the room looked tired and in need of some renovation. The room was very small and to be honest, not what I was expecting. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful time there.

A very pleasant place to stay. Lovely view. Comfortable beds, fluffy robes and slippers. Great food everywhere nearby. Fresh pastries delivered to your room every morning. Little niceties that are often overlooked -- half & half in the frig for coffee, complementary bottles of water. We'd love to stay there again.

From check in to check out, the service was impeccable and nearly invisible. The bed was luxurious and comfortable. Access to downtown and nearby restaurants an easy walk. Parking was convenient. Pastries from Sweetie Pies were an added treat. And be sure to have a drink at the Fink (next door).

Would stay here again for sure! Beautiful room, convenient location in downtown Napa, parking was great. We loved the vouchers for the bakery next door to use for breakfast, it's such a cute place with awesome baked goods. Enjoyed our stay so much!

The hotel is located in downtown Napa, with easy access to great shopping and dining. The hotel has great parking. The building was pretty and historic. The hotel staff were very polite and friendly. The room was nice overall but the TV did not work and we could not connect it to our laptop to watch a movie - we did not notice this until pretty late in the evening so the repair staff were not available - the inside of the TV cabinet had a terrible smell. We reported this and staff said they would have it fixed before the next guests use the room. Otherwise, the room seemed very clean and the bathroom was very nice.

The rooms were very comfortable and looked newly decorated. The hotel had several excellent options for dining closeby, from breakfast to dinner. The vouchers provided for breakfast offered great choices from local shop (all delicious). The amenities provided (shampoo conditioner, etc.) were locally made and the best that I have ever experienced at other hotels. Overall, an excellent choice to stay.

We really enjoyed our day at Napa River Inn. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the area is walkable to many restaurants and shopping. Sweetie pies breakfast is delicious. The candy store right on the property is amazing. We will be back for another stay
