Since the renovations this place is quite nice! I also think they got new beds recently and they’re really comfy now. Free parking and breakfast are a nice touch especially since that’s hard to find downtown

We loved our stay at the Rodd in Moncton. We were doing an East Coast road trip and came back to this hotel on our way home. Tina was abolsutely amazing. Both times through she was so friendly and welcoming and ensured our stay with our 6month old was easy and worry free. We would definitely reccommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Moncton area. It is also super convenient if you want to see the tidal bore

We were offered an upgrade to a harbor view room for an extra fee at check-in. We opted not to take it. Maybe a mistake - our room window faced a busy street and it was noisy at night. It was reasonably priced and the breakfast was good.

We only stayed on night, but we liked the hotel because it is very well located. We could see the tidal bore from out hotel window. The staff was friendly and gave us very good restaurant recommendations.

Always enjoy staying at Rodd whether in Charlottetown or Moncton. Very friendly staff. Rooms are clean. Good breakfast. We will be back!!!

Nice room and nice breakfast provided. However, we were right on the street, and that was noisy. We used earplugs and were fine.

We had a room on the street side of the hotel which was extremely noisy.

It’s super noisy to stay here. All you hear the entire night is cars, sirens and yelling. The facility was nice but it was incredibly hard to sleep .

#1 is convenience, it's right in the entrance of the city, I walked pretty much everywhere. And when we rented a car, it was right at the highway exit.
It's the nearest hotel from Bore Park.
I expected more from breakfast, but it was good. it could have more fruits. The worst part about it was the timing. I work in manufacturing, so I'm usually up at 5. I would love to sleep in during my vacations, but it would stop being served at 9:30. The wife really didn't like that.
Room was good. I like that it doesn't have a carpet because it means it's more clean. I missed more places to hang used towels in the bathroom, too.

All was good at the property. The only thing we dislike was the noise especially when you’re trying to sleep when you have a room facing the street.

Don’t stay on the street side of this hotel if you want to sleep…not sure if the other side is better.
Raised this to the staff at check out, and was advised that this is the norm and should request the other side when booking. I’m not from NB so not sure how I could have known?

The location was easy to find. Staff are friendly and accommodating. We got the Chocolate river (Petitcodiac River) as our view. It’s Pet friendly, we have a stunning sunrise view during our morning walks.

It’s a Motel! As long as you stop considering this place a hotel, it’s a nice and clean motel. We got a drive up suite, exactly motel style. Expedia doesn’t have a clear explanation that what I booked was a drive up, otherwise I would book something inside the main building, it seems to be a nicer one. The main complain we had a VERY loud air conditioner and fridge. Otherwise the property was very clean, staff was beyond nice. Breakfast was minimal but had all essential and a great addition.

Staff was amazing. Breakfast was good but layout of stations could use some tuning as pancake station slowed line. Lots of eateries close with shopping a short drive. We would highly recommend

We stayed on the fourth floor in a street view room and found the traffic noise very loud, even late at night. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. AC works very well. Parking is very convenient and the location is great. The breakfast buffet was pretty chaotic and the selection wasn’t as good as comparable hotels I’ve been to.
