It is a beautiful place, with wonderful gardens, the food is delicious and the service is the best I have received in Germany. A beautiful place and a wonderful experience.

Everyone we interacted with was super nice and helpful. My friend wanted to stay in a castle during her European adventure. We found this gem & stayed the night before she flew out. Wish we could have stayed longer and explored more. Hope to be back soon with family & golf.

As you expect out of castle - splendid!

My dreams of staying in a castle shattered. All the way from Australia to stay in this 5 star hotel was shocking. Firstly i have found bookings from these sites you get the worse rooms. Aircon didnt work and our room was excessively hot and bathroom was like a sauna. We went to liunge to have a coffee, we asked twice to get service which never came. After an hour we drove into town to get coffee and dinner, didnt want to risk having dinner there since we couldnt get a coffee. Wifi didnt work nor did the tv have any channels working that were non German. First fan delivered didnt work, blades inserted back the front. 2nd fan didnt work and third fan finally worked. Finall had our room and fan to ourselves at 10.30 pm! There was a wedding and music was thumping through to late into the evening. Not the relaxing, luxurious i was expecting. I was absolutely heart broken, sleep deprived and could not wait to get out of there.

Hotel is nice, although dated. There was food at the bar but restaurant was closed and the hotel is far from everything. I think 5 star is too high of a rating overall. Some of the carpeting for example is torn!!! No bell boy..or at least I did not see one Good uneventful sleep it is

This a unique and beautiful property complimented by a very professional staff. We highly recommend the Schlosshotel Kronberg if you travel to the Frankfurt area.

- This hotel doesn’t have any spa - No Afternoon tea during my stay - Dinner only at the bar, restaurant was closed - No warm water for 24 hours + beautiful green surroundings + friendly stuff + nice comfortable bed

We enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable and pleasant. A slight request to the hotel management: it would be nice if charging spots for e-cars are indicated as "reserved" to other drivers, so they don't get blocked by other cars. Bottom line: we liked our (repeat stay) and clearly recommend the Schlosshotel Kronberg.

No restaurant service. “Fully booked” = lack of staff. Not 5 star hotel service. Only burgers priced 40 Eur in lounge area. Hotel as such nice and well kept.

Simply the BEST. So far this property is the best one I ever stayed in Europe. Very clean, elegant and luxurious. Hotel staffs were great. You can get millions of pictures in this hotel. It is like you are a time traveller. As for breakfast, it was unbelievably great. There were all the options you can name it. Everything was very fresh and top notch quality. This is the one of the best hotel in Frankfurt. I will definitely stay there again.

It was a gorgeous castle

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful. I recommend this little getaway not too far from Frankfurt.

Let me tell you this, you cannot go wrong with this place. Absolutely amazing! Who can say they stayed in a castle where royalty stayed. Everything was exceptional! Room service was fantastic, the scenery was fantastic, and the service was beyond amazing! Hope to be back!

Absolutely stunning. They have a partnership with a massage company and they came to our room for a couples massage. Super professional and kind. Food downstairs was great and the castle is incredible!

The hotel is well decorated, staff very attentive and resolutive. Rooms are good size. Big bathroom with bathtub and shower. Bed and pillows comfortables. We have an issue with the air conditioning that did not work and the days have been very hot outside so was difficult to sleep at night. We 2 only 2 night but the problem wasn’t resolved. We had dinner at the main restaurant and was delicious and well served. Overall it’s a beautiful place to spend a couple of days far away from the noisy city.

Such an amazing property. Had the most wonderful time. Staff was phenomenal, grounds are beautiful, our room was huge and comfortable. Vegan options were difficult to find but they were happy to accomodate. The hotel itself is a treasure and a joy to walk around / investigate. Highly recommended.

The grounds are very well tended and a pleasure to access various walks, gardens. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms very charming. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. The dining was casual (we ate in the bar area since the restaurant was closed on Tuesday) and fit our needs perfectly.
