Nice hotel. Perfect breakfast. Not really soundproof rooms and a really tiny douvet

There is no air conditioner so I couldn't sleep well. The room is clean and breakfast is good.

The staff were ok. The location is great, it is close to the zoo, Biertheimer Allee which is a very nice little park. We made a reservation during the summer, our room had a very small AC, which was not even make the room just 2 or 3 degrees cooler. Very hot, difficult to fall sleep. The minibar was not working, even the water bottle they put in the minibar was hot! Breakfast was very good but still in a warm room, where also flies were flying around. Other than that everything was fine!

The location of the hotel is very good. The hotelgasten new furniture but for the rest nothing has been renovated.

Fantastic service on both English and German, although obviously better in German. Quiet and located in a great area. They were able and willing to accommodate a late arrival although it was not necessary. I struggle to think of anything that could have been different or better, especially for the price. I’m almost disappointed I haven’t tried any other hotels in Karlsruhe, because I will never stay anywhere else when in town. AMERICANS PLEASE NOTE: it is not typical for German buildings to have air conditioning, and I believe this hotel is not an exception. You can limit the amount of heat in your room by closing your black out curtains during the day.

Great value in a good location. Hotel was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and breakfast was delicious! Thanks for making my stay a wonderful one :)

Very kind personnel. Cleanliness and good hospitality.

The hotel’s place was good, a fair distance to both city center and to main train station. We didn’t have breakfast so no comment about it. Check-in and check-out was flawless. The staff were very helpful. Only one out of four days, the house cleaning was not good. There is no receptionist at night so don’t forget to check-in early.

Easy check-in, room was clean. Bathroom a bit old perhaps, but generally good standard. Very central and easy to get to, with a short walk from the central station.

The room was nicely furnished but the odor of urine that permeated the bathroom at night (through the bathroom vent) ruined the stay. We had stayed here in the past and strangely experienced the same thing. You will be disappointed here.

Okay so this was definitely incredible value for money. The room was nice and the staff were very helpful. The location was splendid and most places were within a 20minute walk. Breakfast was great too!

Room spacious and clean, staff friendly good location for exploring the old town and access to/from railway station. Minor downsides: pet hate of cushions on the bed (particularly in times of corona) and quite hot - could have done with a fan for the evening. But overall pleasant stay and decent price.

Loved it! Everything was perfect about the room and what I particularly liked was that it was spacious even though it was for one person with a twin bed. Well I did not use it, there was an Internet tablet to use I think. I will definitely stay there again when I return to Karlsruhe.

Nice hotel in excellent condition. My room was a one-person room and therefore small, but easily enough for one person. There are also restaurants and other services near the hotel making the location very convenient, and the hotel has their own under-ground carpark (9€/night).

All good really !..even had a private parking space under the hotel (payable extra, but nice to know your car is well pampered too!)..breakfast was well worth the extra e10..Overall,nice clean & tidy !..well done to the crew that are looking after it!

Good value for the money. I had a nice third-floor room over looking the hotels garden where guests may relax or have their breakfast. The location was quiet and had everything I neeeded for a single nights stay. I arrived and departed by train so I chose to roll my wheeled suitcase along the sidewalk beside the citys main park for a bit more than 10 minutes each way, as it seemed too short a distance for a cab and the weather was nice. But the location is good for walking to the city centre (opposite direction from the station), which was quite alive for a Monday evening, and the hotel has underground parking for those travelling by car. The hotel is close to several routes on the citys very comprehensive tram system, so that would be a good choice for getting there.I opted to have breakfast at the hotel for 10 euros and that worked well, as it was efficiently arranged and I could get on my way promptly. The wi-fi worked particularly well, noticeably better than some experiences Ive had elsewhere.

Good breakfast. Room on top floor with sloping ceilng, hit my head many times. Room waz an oven, no a/c, gave us a fan which didnt quite make the room bearable. Last straw was bedbug [dead] on my pillow.

Very convenient for train station and zoo. Pleasant hotel but no bar or real lounge area. Lots of shops nearby. Staff very helpful.

The booking confirmation asks you to call the hotel but when you do, the reception are not sure why as the reservation was paid in advance.Hotel is well situated on a quiet leafy street about 10 minutes walk from the main station. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable although the decor was a little spartan. The bathroom was dated and the lighting in there not bright enough. The two reception staff I saw were both courteous and polite. I would stay there again as the hotel was good value overall and most important I had a very good nights sleep.

Not comfortable to have a shared restroom and it isnt clearly mentioned in the description. The rest was fine. Especially the staff was very friendly and helpful.
