They no longer have refrigerators, which was really difficult for us. Also, the bed was not comfortable. It was really hard and the bed was very creaky. However, the facility was very nice. The bathroom was great and very clean. The breakfast was excellent. The food was really, really good and everybody was very nice. They could make some improvements to the rooms for comfort level and put back refrigerators because it's very difficult to be out in another country for a week without having a refrigerator.

Everything was great. It’s just nothing around so hard to go out from there.

Disappointing. No airport shuttle as stated on the hotel profile No food available for dinner, only a bar, even at 8pm. We had to walk 15 minutes to find a McDonald’s to eat something. 1 lumpy pillow seems to be the norm in Germany but at least it was a double bed and not two singles pushed together for a change.

Was really disappointed, that WiFi login had to be requested at reception .... Thats BIG minus. Pro .. is that they have cattle for coffe in the room .... and that there is parking at hotel.

They couldn’t find booking. They agreed a VIP upgrade but was given a basic room & lights didn’t work. Receptionists kept reassuring we were in an upgraded room but had to move us because of faulty lights into the upgraded room we should have been in. It’s terrible the staff were not correct in their assertion the original room was an upgrade. I’d add always avoided Best Western’s in the past and will in future.

Nice hotel in good localosation. Bit old but all facilities were well in order and stay was good. We didnt slept well because pillows were very high, and they used rubbery/foil sheets which make body sweat. On the plus side, they provide water, coffee machines, etc in the rooms which was very pleasant.

Nice clean hotel by the airport easy car parking we arrived late around 23:00 to find the restaurant closed due to COVID-19 restrictions, clean comfortable rooms breakfast was Continental no hot food

Nice near airport

We stayed in this hotel couple is times kn the past. Was lovely clean and very friendly staffed. Now this place is horrible. Bad customer service, Mrs Krug the lady behind the counter had so much attitude We booked a superior room and was offered small double room. After complaining it was changed but Mrs Krug was so rude as she was doing us a favour. After we get keys to the new room it was a disaster too. Room looked like not used in weeks and was dust everywhere. Dirty Smelly towels. Expired hand-wash that stinks. Definitely not a 4star hotel anymore. Only plus point is a secured under ground parking and hotel is closer to Motorway for international travellers. Definitely won't recommend to anyone. Please stay away from this hotel.

Good, only stayed on night

It's a great location. The staff is soooo nice. The room was clean.

Very clean. Front desk was very nice and helpful.

Arrived at about 7 in the evening having been travelling for 7 hours and there was no food available. Restaurant was closed.I was travelling on my own although I had a double bed I was only given a single duvet. Not all the lights were working so room was dark. I was not there for pleasure but it need not have been so depressing.

It’s a clean hotel with prompt service and good value. Nothing fancy, but excellent for what it is.

Parking was 4 Euros per day in the outside car park and 9.50 Euros per day in the underground one. Bar was not open every evening and back up fridge was not refilled very frequently. The staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. The room was clean and sufficiently comfortable. Free wifi was complicated and did not recognise some of our equipment.Overall though very enjoyable and not too far from Dortmund Centre and the countryside.

Best Western Hotel Dortmund Airport is in a great location, has friendly staff, would visit again

As the only German hotel it had wash cloths! Nice. Excellent breakfast, very attentive staff, everyone was very friendly.

This was at least my 5th or 6th stay here. The staff is kind, friendly and professional. Clean, modern rooms.

Nice hotel close to Dortmund city and airport. Comfortable room. Very friendly staff @ frontdesk. Very likely to return if I have to stay again in that area.

This hotel is ideal to stay in if you arrive in Dortmund but need an overnight before you move on. 5-10 minutes away in a taxi, or an easy 45 minute walk from the airport; this is a clean well presented modern hotel.Reception staff were welcoming & very helpful, also as a lone traveller I found the rooms were ideal, modern & clean. Breakfast is not included which is the only downfall but it is reasonably priced (€14) & you get a good choice. Likewise the evening buffet is also well priced (€18.50) & it appears that you can eat as much as you want.Only real fault is it is located in a very small business centre so there is not much immediately around however the small town of Aplerbeck is just a short 10 minute walk away if you want to get out for an hour or so.

This hotel is sweet, even charming but the service is abysmal. I never usually leave reviews but felt obliged in this instance. We booked this hotel on a stop-over and were very tired when we arrived a smile rather than a kurt, sarcastic reception would have been nice. The toiletries in the room had been used and not replaced. I would stay somewhere else.
