I've stayed at this chain a few times and it's hit or miss. This time was a miss by a mile. The things in the room were good enough, and the breakfast was decent but most importantly , the heat in the room wasn't working and it made a loud humming sound. Like a train in the distance that never arrives. I asked to change rooms , but was told there weren't any available because "housekeeping wasn't in that day ." I was provided with an extra blanket and a space heater that sounded like a small boat engine , totally unusable if sleeping was what one had in mind. Normally I wouldn't bother to give a hotel a bad review because things happen, but in this case if you look through the reviews guests have already brought the issue with the heat exchanger to the attention of management and they promise to fix it but clearly it's not important to them. This hotel really should not be operating until they are prepared to provide heated accommodations. Talk is cheap Quality Inn. Fix your heat exchanger for good!

Days Inn by Wyndham Sarnia Harbourfront I am writing to formally express my serious concerns and disappointment regarding the conditions that our staff have encountered during their recent stay at Days Inn by Wyndham Sarnia Harbourfront on Mon, 28 Oct to Wed, 30 Oct 2024. The rooms were infested with bed bugs, which caused significant distress and discomfort throughout their stay. Bed bugs are not only a health hazard, but they also spread at an alarming rate, which can have severe implications for future guests and your hotel's reputation. When this issue was brought to the front desk, the response was dismissive, attributing it to maple bugs flying around, saying, “sorry about that, we do have maple bugs flying around all over the place, so maybe that's what you saw.” The second room that was given did end up having the maple bugs. This is unacceptable, as no hotel should have any kind of bugs in the rooms or flying around. This raises serious concerns about the sanitation and maintenance practices at your establishment. I strongly urge you to prioritize a thorough and immediate eradication of this infestation. I have included photographic evidence taken during our stay. These images clearly show the presence of bed bugs and Black and Orange Boxelder Bug/stink bugs in two different rooms.

Good value

The room was a terrible location at the Property. It was completely unsafe and unsecure given there was NO latch plate on our entry door!!!! The front desk asked us after check-in was room ok, there was a volume issue on phone so i basically just got off phone. When we headed out to dinner that is when we noticed the issue. I tried to talk to front desk saying we'd talk to her when back. We came back not a soul around. We basically stuffed a wooden hanger under the door for SOME peace of mind!!!! Even this review page wont let me add the photo i took of our disgusting door frame!!!!!

The air conditioning is severely outdated and sounded like a freight train with no way to change this. Bed not comfortable. Very poor sleep. Unable to hear the tv over the air conditioning noise. This hotel needs upgrading. Although room was clean, no Kleenex in bathroom or anywhere. Not worth the value for sure.

My stay was pleasant and what I expected. Staff pleasant. Would have liked later check out time option though

Air conditioning did not work in room, toilet broke, breakfast room was unbearably hot. Friendly hostess.
