Highly recommend the spa at the resort. Make sure to book in advance.

We had an exceptional family holiday at Lopesan Costa Meloneras. The resort's stunning architecture, interior design and beautifully manicured gardens created a serene atmosphere. Our spacious, clean room offered breathtaking balcony views. The expansive pool area was a highlight, with something for everyone. The lazy river was a big hit with the kids! Dining options were diverse and delicious, with an impressive breakfast buffet. The staff's attentive and friendly service made our stay memorable, including Cava on arrival. Highly recommended!

The property is stunning, as is the surrounding area. Food options at the resort and in the surrounding area aren’t quite up to the standard you would expect for the price, nor the calibre of the resort.

Lovely spot in Grand Canaria. Lots to do.

Excellent hotel for a solo traveller looking for an indulgent and luxury break. Beautiful grounds amazing views and pools. Everything you want within walking distance. Staff are amazing. Nothing is a problem. Breakfast was amazing too as are the restaurants and pool bars. Will definetly be coming back. My happy place!

The are many very large and very nice pools on the property. We couldn't find the time to visit them all. They have several good dining options at the hotel. The spa is extremely nice, but book a day in advance. Lots of shops nearby too. And there is a casino right there in the hotel.

Great hotel and area; only issue is the very, very noisy nightclub adjacent to the hotel going till the very early morning hours when open.

It is a huge hotel. Clean and well maintained. The servi e at the pool bars is a bit hit and miss.

Great resort, relaxed atmosphere, awesome swimming options but there was very limited gluten free options for food. Half board is just a buffet for both breakfast and dinner.

Having stayed at this hotel prior to Covid, I must commend the staff management and facilities. This is an excellent hotel.

Great location and the buffet was above expectations…

A big hotel but in significant grounds so it never felt too busy. Food was good but perhaps not 5 star standard but we ate out mostly do it did not bother us. Pool facilities were excellent. Lovely position on the promenade which enabled walks in both directions. Would certainly go back.

Admired this hotel 10 years ago when we we're staying nearby and always wanted to come back. Have to say, ignore any and all the reviews complaining about nonsense. The staff are lovely. The grounds are stunning. There are loads of sunbeds in the sun or in the shade. The pools are spectacular. The food in marketplace was outstanding. Weve stayed in lots of 5 star hotels. This one is right up there with the Belmonds and Fairmonts of this world.

Very pretty. Very well organised. Would definitely come back. Travelled with husband and ten and eight year old daughters.

This hotel is very well organised with excellent service and accommodation. I wasn’t sure at first due to the size of the property but the choices of areas and pools are outstanding, no problem finding a nice place to relax. The service around the hotel is excellent with plenty of choices for lunch. The breakfast buffet is also excellent and although some reviews complain about queuing, I never found it an issue. Varied entertainment at night was good. The hotel is in a good area with lots of designer shops and restaurants and good walking promenades.

Amazing stay

Unfortunately we were only in the hotel for13 hourd, but what we saw was stunning. Very much a 5 star hotel. I wish we could have stayed longer, but due to a medical emergency with my daughter, we couldn't.

This is a huge hotel with 1100 rooms and tbh a bit lacking in soul and atmosphere. This is reflected in most of the staff. They are fairly polite but not particularly friendly. They don’t engage with visitors, a bit unusual in Gran Canaria. The accommodation is very good. However there are no entertainment channels for English language speakers. Conversely you are well served if you are Spanish, German or Italian. I accidentally booked half board. The buffet area for such customers is vast. There is no explanation of how it works when you are seated at your table. The food is average but there is a good wine selection. Self service is very busy. Breakfast was better. There are some good restaurants on site. Bar prices are good value for this sort of hotel. I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s just too big and the service is rather surly on the whole. The friendly people stand out. I should say I have had better experiences at other Lopesan hotels.

The Pools and the Spa area is really great. We also liked the vicinity

This is not a 5star hotel however it was clean and the grounds were very nice. Food was not to a good standard and our half board was only eligible for the buffet restaurant and not usable on the other restaurants on the site. Expedia and the hotel should make this clear at the booking listing as we would not have opted for HB and instead gone for B&B only. Buffet was overcrowded and food quality was ok - nothing special but expected when it was feeding a large number of people. Fruit was the high light. The other issue is that at night they had music on till 11ish and if you come here to relax you will hear the music in your room. They are not well insulated. Other than the food and noise the actual hotel has excellent grounds with lovely rooms palm tree lined pools with plenty of sun beds and space to not feel overcrowded. The lobby is nice and its location on the promanade is excellent. Go here if you can book just B&B and bring good ear plugs.

Whilst the room itself was just ordinary, the gardens/the pools were fabulous and well maintained.

Everything perfect except music while eating!

It started with very bad treatment and mistakes on our booking, nonchalant staffviod the check-in and without a knowledgeable manager on site when we checked in on a Sunday. The treatment did not match a 5 star hotel and neither did the service. The rooms were not clean and the beds were not comfortable. We stayed in a suite with a view for a price of about 1500 Euro/night, so there was not even a fruit basket on arrival and no personal welcome or anything special for the children. The only thing in the hotel that was worth a vacation was the pool area. Not a place I recommend and not worth the price.

Pools are lovely and the surrounding gardens. Well situated in the resort. Clean and well maintained. Service is poor - found many of the staff borderline rude and unhelpful - lots of eye rolling! Rooms are bland/corporate. No sunbeds available around the pool - they do nothing to prevent people reserving beds from early morning. Breakfast was OK, dinner we skipped after trying twice. Queues in the restaurant were unruly at times! All in all, far from a 5 star experience for me.

The hotel itself is beautiful. A very welcoming reception which incidentally smelt lovely. A welcome drink was provided and the cases were put in our room and we weren't obliged to tip like in the US. The pool is breathtakingly beautiful and is the largest I have ever been in. Plenty big enough for the guests with an additional lagoon pool. The staff were really helpful when I had a problem with my outgoing shuttle. My only criticism would be the layout of the buffet - very congested and the food was OK but nothing outstanding.
