Quite possibly the worst hotel we have stayed in. The check in staff was rude and aggressive. The property was filthy. The carpets throughout were disgusting. Furniture in the room was damaged, skirting was hanging off the wall and there was no soundproofing.Although breakfast was included, given the dirtiness around us we decided to eat elsewhere. Would certainly not recommend to anyone.

I enjoyed the whole stay and staff was so nice but just the parking was a little bit of a hassle other than that it was great ☺️

Had an awesome stay

Tiny bathroom, TV difficult to use. Had to unplug to shut it off. Staff are not understanding, condescending when you are exhausted from the road. You are billed a second time even though reservation already paused. Poor

Cute boutique hotel. Parking was at a premium. We had to park two blocks away, outside. People sleeping outdoors around the parking lot was a bit disturbing.

The hotel itself was nice, and used furnishings for the time period the hotel was built. The restaurant was very good for dinner. We had a few problems with our room where the tv did not work at all. Someone came to fix it, and when we tried to turned it on in the morning, again it didn't work. The only other thing I would mention is that no where on their web site do they mention that you have to pay for parking. If we had known we would have stayed at another hotel.

The breakfast was good. Very handy to everything. Comfortable bed. The hotel needs refurbishment.

The front desk staff where super helpful and friendly

Overall an average stay, room was clean but very small and not the most comfortable. Washroom was extremely tiny as was the shower, although very clean. Felt expensive for the tiny space with additional parking charges even when the parking was a couple minutes walk from the hotel itself.

Hotel is very aged. States there is a gym but you get a pass to the YMCA, no gym on site.

Worst Experience Ever - Despite Courteous Staff, Avoid This Hotel I recently stayed at The Plaza Hotel in Kamloops, and it was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. While the hotel staff was courteous and tried to be helpful, the property itself was extremely old and poorly maintained. Almost everything was broken or in disrepair—from the furniture to the fixtures. The room felt outdated and unclean, with broken appliances and a bathroom that desperately needed an upgrade. Despite the best efforts of the staff, the condition of the hotel made my stay extremely uncomfortable. For the price I paid, I expected a much better experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. Save yourself the frustration and stay elsewhere.

We stayed for one night on our way through. Wasn’t expecting the world for the price. But the chair in the room had a huge stain, there was some sort of piping noise coming consistently through the walls. They informed us the thermostat would only accommodate heating or AC and not both. So the room was cold because it’s summer but it rained all day. They offered a space heater and then didn’t bring it to the room. Recommended the restaurant for food, gave us a voucher. There is one person in there serving 4 tables. Long wait for our nachos which then arrived at the table with raw beef on top. Not a good look. Neither is the parking which is two blocks away in a separate lot. It’s in a cool character building which is nice but they need more staff and should probably make more effort to provide a good experience.

Staff were pleasant but rooms were not clean (we tried 2 because of the lack of cleanliness). Felt like a real cash grab and pictures on the website were incredibly deceiving. All in all very disappointed and would not book again.

I checked in on line only to have to do it all over again at the desk. So what was the point? I had to sho id, credit card all over again, register my vehicle. Only one person on the desk at 4 pm. Ridiculous! It states , check in on line then just pick up your keys

The staff was lovely. The room had a strong men’s cologne smell, and the toilet didn’t flush properly and there were not sheets on the pull out couch. The lounge was great and breakfast was ok. No parking was really inconvenient and was not told that parking was not included in cost of room

Inconvenient if you have a car, we ended up parking on the street for free but the homeless/downtown crowd were noisy and we were worried if they were going to mess with the vehicle.

The problem is the Town itself

This hotel does not really have parking lot. They tell you to park in an adjacent open private lot, or at the street at your own risk, they’ve advised to go parking in a nearby hospital lot if you want a closed parking area. Overall the hotel corner looks unsafe.
