Customer service is poor! Our safe was broken on arrival, contacted customer services who said someone wpuld be up in 15 minutes. After half an hour chawed this as was waiting to go out, was told would be another 20 minutes which i argued. Someone came to fix it and after 20 minutes said it needed an engineer so we could use a safety deposit box in reception so that we could go out then an engineer would repair whilst out. Got back at 9pm and safe wasnt repaired. The rollaway bed also requested at check-in in the morning also hadnt arrived so also had to be chased! Disappointing service for an expensive hotel!

The rooms are very basic and dated especially for it being a deluxe resort. Only benefits of staying are the closeness to the park and the express passes. Without those we would never stay here. We actually wouldn’t stay any longer than the 3 night we did stay as my son who has dairy allergies couldn’t eat here and we got very poor service from the TukTuk shop. Nothing about this hotel felt deluxe. Coming from a Disney moderate. If you’re just needing somewhere to sleep, then it’s ok but I would pay a little extra and go to hard rock next time. Was a lot better. Also to add the room and bathroom were filthy. You can see it’s only given a service clean, loads of stains and general grime everywhere

Checkin was amazing, dog friends was so helpful and all dogs were so well behaved. Fabulous service during a hurricane.

We asked for a rollout bed that we were told would be about twenty minutes,an hour later it appeared,we found dust on the toilet roll holder and something’s just looked a bit shabby

Make sure you don't forget anything at the end of your stay or you won't get it back. I left my Armani sunglasses by the tv (I am 100% sure as I saw it while I was taking the bags out to checkout (and thought "I must not forget my sunglasses) but forgot to pick up when I returned to get the remaining bags - I returned a few hours after and they claimed the cleaning staff didn't find it... I spoke to the manager but they said the cleaning team didn't return anything. I asked them to check the rota to see the exact person that cleaned my room and they said I'd have to wait longer (we left the room ay 7:30am and I went back to the hotel 4pm and 6pm. I've stayed in good hotels all over the world and things never vanished like this. Plus I am afraid after 6 days at Animal Kingdom Lodge this was very bellow in every aspect (even though similar price per night). Staff not very friendly, hotel not as clean and new, room not too big, very expensive quick service food (Disney had a $13 meal which was delicious! Here $25 for a pizza) just felt too expensive for what they offer plus they kept my sunglasses. Also on the first day we left at 7:30am and when we returned at 4:30pm the room hadn't been cleaned. This is a £426 pound a night hotel room we are talking about it..

Great pool and activities. Family had lots of fun. Watertaxi to amusement parks was a wonderful perk along with the Unlimited Express Passes. Could have done without the nightly $30 parking fees.

Limited dining, and the restaurant gave us food poisoning. No quick service options for food, and the coffee spot didn’t have most items on the menu every single morning. The boat stops service every time it rains or even sprinkles, and the rooms were very basic. Not worth the price honestly.

Would definitely recommend staying here. The hotel was everything we had hoped for. Lovely hotel, friendly staff, great location and early check in with express passes and can even use facilities when checked out. Would definitely stay again.

My reservartion was for 4 adults and 1 child 6 years old. But the room had only 2 standard beds and its almost impossible to properly sleep 2 adults and 1 child in this bed. Of the hotel allows for 5 people in the room they need to have beds for everyone. Staff was very friendly and pool was good.

The standard room was great and all the facilities were good too. We found the staff good, but Disney resorts outperformed them by a bit. The food is very expensive, even as far as resorts/parks go. The buffet ($32USD per person) has good food, but for the price, you might as well save $14 by going to the Three Broomsticks American Breakfast in the park that has pretty much the same food for $18, if you’re not planning on going back for seconds anyway. Overall, a great experience. Would like to see them work on their food value in the resort.

Great stay, 237 dollars for nightly parking seemed extreme.

We stayed here 8 years ago and had a great time. We were concerned that more recent reviews commented on the hotel being tired. We didn't find this to be the case. Everything was well maintained, clean and comfortable. The pool area was spotless with plenty of lifeguards making it feel very safe. The staff in Jake's restaurant were incredibly helpful offering plenty of options for our coeliac son. Our only minor disappointment was the indoor spa pool now being closed but this didn't spoil our time at all. The hotel is so convenient for the parks, either walking or by water taxi and we massively appreciated the express pass and early entry to the park. Top Marks!

Great for Universal Studios, spacious rooms, pleasant pool. Very noisy hallways.

Excellent as always, checkin was a bit tricky and rocky as we booked a room for 5 people and got a four sleeper snd a rollaway bed was supplied for a child!!! Adult had half his legs hanging over! We got a free breakfast voucher , didnt solve the problem, but breakfast was good! Our other room asked for a king bed but nothing was available even though the hotel was quiet! Still lovely hotel but next time will be more insistent! Our fourth stay and it is a stunning hotel and convenient for universal park visits

Your rooms are old, bathroom lots of orange stains from water and old, definitely NOT worth $500 total rip off.

The fast pass option is amazing, great location and very good product

Food in the restaurant was terrible! Omelette was not eatable at all and the cook didn’t seem to know what he was doing. Pancakes were stale and dry. Asked for an espresso and cappuccino and received cold, filtered coffee instead. Room was spacious and modern though and very clean. Shower wasn’t great and the sink was a bit stinky and didn’t drain very well. Really convenient for parks.

need to be aware of enforcing 200$ incident withholding per day per room , something i believe is a new abusive policy of the hotel ... were the food isn't great at this hotel and prices are astronomicals

Resort was beautiful

Booked one night here to access the 2 days of express passes at Universal! It’s well worth the money! The rooms were spacious. But overall I didn’t like the feel of the hotel, but it may be due to moving from a Disney hotel, where we were settled. We ate in the American diner there and the food was really good, although pricey! I would definitely stay here again, just for the express passes.

Very impressed by the hotel and it's facilities. The staff at check in were very welcoming. The Express passes were also a super advantage of staying at this hotel.

All the staff was very nice, except the front desk and the gift store/Universal planning center. It was an early morning and maybe they are not morning people but they were dry, borderline rude and gave us wrong information about printing the tickets, redirecting us to the park. When we arrived at the park they asked us why didn’t we print at the hotel! We knew only the printed ones were accepted after printing, still the hotel staff was not willing to go the extra mile, above and beyond that we are used to at Disney! No magical day here! But the accommodations were clean, the rest of the staff was nice, especially valets and bell services. At the parks, buses, boats and City walk our experience was amazing!
