Nice property, friendly staff, pool facility is very good.

Overall the hotel was nice. There were a few things that could have been better though. First was in the room, there seemed to be a previous electrical fire with one of the lights in our room. There were char marks on the wall paper visible and the junction box where the light used to be was covered with a cover plate. The bedroom loft area in the jacuzzi suite was also very hot as the AC is on the main floor of the room and doesn’t reach the loft much. The other issue we had was that the description said it included a free hot breakfast. The only hot option was waffles you made yourself, otherwise it was a standard continental breakfast with cereal, fruit, toast etc. over all the resort itself was nice and the views are spectacular. The could be better at managing and maintaining though.

Good restaurant and pool on site. Free breakfast was a bonus.

The shower did not work properly, and a light was burnt out. So, the property could use some general maintenance. A full refresh of the rooms is likely needed. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The AC kept the temperature comfortable. The complementary breakfast was limited compared to others like Best Western. We did not use the pool facility because the hotel wanted an intrusive liability wavier to be completed, which was a first for any hotel we have been in.

We found the property excellent value for the cost. Our room was overlooking the highway so a bit noisy. The breakfast options were somewhat limited if one was trying to eat fewer carbs. The only protein options were boiled eggs and yogurt.

The pool and slide were definitely a hit for our kids. Also enjoyed the hot tub outside with mountain views. We stayed at the family room/loft. It was good for our family of five. The beds were comfortable enough. Airconditioning needs improvement, it gets too cold on the bed beside it but not enough to reach the loft area. Also the screen doors to the terrace in our room definitely needs replacing. Bugs can enter through the holes. We hope they replace the bathroom pieces -- the stains made our kids feel uncomfortable using them. Other than that, nothing that is not manageable. We particularly enjoyed the food at the Indian restaurant. We will definitely consider staying here again.

This hotel is not clean. Mold in the ladies shower stalls in change room, bathroom floors not washed, hair in tub along with a crack that was not repaired, holes in wall of shower curtains, toilet dirty along the base, phone for front desk filthy, drink sprayed on walls dried up and not wiped down. I took pictures and showed this to the guy at front desk who checked us in, as there were no other rooms or hotels available in Fernie to move to. Expedia tried to contact the desk serveral times, and one they got through all of my concerns were flat out denied by hotel that i had reported this. Would highly recommend Expedia remove this hotel listing, and would warn Expedia clients not to stay here. There is no customer service or apology for cleanliness concerns. I asked the guys who cleaned the room for 2 extra coffee cups as there were 4 of us staying in a loft room, and he said to use a paper cup. When i tried to give him the dirty coffee cups, he said just rinse it out in the bathroom sink and use a tissue to dry them. Are you kidding me? We demanded a bit of a discount when we checked in, and the check in guy couldnt care less. Offered 10.00 off WOW insult that was. No manager to be found only an email address to send my concerns to, which im positive will be ignored. When researching this hotel, the negative warnings about this place are hard to find. I thought to try to give this place a try as we needed a loft style room. Will not be returning.

Beds were clean but baseboards and areas of floors and walls were dusty. Rooms are dated and could use some renovating and rugs showing signs of wear tear. Service was good.

Need to enlarge eating area…maybe use the deck space..? hot tub not working…

Decent for the price. Rooms dirty, dusty and require a proper deep cleaning. Poorly done repairs in rooms. Hot tub was tepid the first night. Fixed the second.

Fairly cozy property just on the outside of Fernie. Staff was very courteous. Room was dated but decent. Very basic amenities. 3 of 5 stars overall but nothing overtly bad to report, other than a lot of noise from the hallways and nearby rooms with kids stampeding about. That did quiet down after 8pm fortunately. Hotel is conveniently located just off the main highway.

The whole place needs to be renovated. Bathroom taps leak, fridge freezer door broken, room was not cleaned daily or partially cleaned, coffee terrible in room and continental breakfast, breakfast needs major improvement, mattresses and pillows need replacing. Just not worth the cost.

2star hotel at best! It stinks! If you like Curry than not an issue, if your like me I find it off putting and to strong. If your room faces the road you can not enjoy the balcony as the trucks are very loud. Can not sleep with windows or balcony door open due to noise. You will not hear your TV with door open! It’s that loud. Note speed limit is 80km and the hotel is directly off road. So request a room that does not face highway. Back side of hotel is nice with a river and walking paths. I’m sure would be much nicer experience. Breakfast. It’s free… That’s the only good thing. Cereal and toast is what you get. No eggs or meat. It’s cereal and bread no joke. Prison food is how my child described. Lol. No one working in area so tables a mess and no maintenance. The coffee was empty. Room was ok-stayed in family room. The AC unit is beside one of the beds and blows directly on the bed. So that bed is freezing and not comfortable, but if you turn it off then upstairs and room is hot. Pool was freezing cold. Either heating is broken or not on to save money. Hot tub broken, can’t use at all. They tell you upon checkin. How long broken for would be interested to know as they told us it broke “today”. This hotel was probably great at one time but clearly switched ownership and is run poorly today. A hotel with potential with the right maintenance and investment.

We had a short but enjoyable stay, we enjoyed the room, was quite spacious for the 4 of us, and we enjoyed the restaurant. Breakfast included is always a plus and there were plenty of options for the whole party. It was nice being walkable to the circle k and the view of the river was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Property could just use a little extra TLC, no really utilized the best. The breakfast could also use attention, like maybe not one toaster for an entire hotel, & set it up to flow a bit better for the guests. The rooms need better air circulation, especially the loft areas

The hotel is very well maintained and reasonably priced. The employees are very friendly and polite. Some reviews have said that the hotel is run-down but we were surprised as to the state of establishment.

pool was not heated at all, freezing cold, hot tub out of order, continental breakfast was chaos and felt like only cheap items were offered to eat i don’t complain about hotels, but given the rate that was charged this did not meet expectations also chair in the room was a safety hazard , sat down and the spring was ready to puncture the cloth in the chair

General areas were quite dusty and breakfast area could be improved with better food and cleaning

Excellent. Large rooms, clean

It is pretty dated and not well kept anymore. The rooms are semi dated but very dirty. There needs to be more focus on cleaning rooms. Bug and mouse traps on the stairwell, which isn’t very appealing, also dirty! The elevator is also not safe, we were stuck in it for more than 5 minutes with no acknowledgement at all. Pushes the ball button in the elevator and nothing. The pool and Waterslide is great, which is why we always stop here on our way to and from our destination. But unfortunately it’s becoming not worth it anymore.

I spent a fair amount of my time killing flies . The hotel manager did not have any house keeping on staff when I arrived at 4:00 pm. So therefore killing the flies was left up to me. The manager could not find a fly swatter but managed to find a flimsy newspaper. With the fly problem I did not feel comfortable enough using the Jacuzzi as it was one of their suites. Food in the restarant was fine. Would I stay there again, probably not. Maybe if they would have made an efffort to get rid of the flies and clean up afterwards.

Good place to stay with kids, they loved the pool and water slide. The hot tub was a little small but it was outdoors which was great. The breakfast room is quite small so we couldn’t get a table and had to eat in our room. Not a lot of options for breakfast but decent enough. We were able to get extra pillows when we asked.
