Second time here and absolutely love it !

Very close to the beach. They have a closet with beach supplies for check out- beach chairs, umbrellas, mats, towels, & kid toys . The breakfast is amazing located in their "Living Room" which consists of tables, chairs, sofas, ice machine,lemon & orange infused water & a microwave. All at your disposal 24 hours a day!

Staff was amazing, very friendly and accommodating. Very good breakfast. Location was convenient. Amenities were great. Fees were a bit of a pain but great stay overall.

Although it was a short stay but there were no complaints. The staff was cooperative & breakfast was good. The rooms were spacious & clean. Even the bathroom were big with proper amenities.

Some other reviews said the hotel ACs were loud and I agree, and it happened to be very windy up on the floor for our room. Regardless it was worth the time and cost to me. Families probably need bigger space but for two people it was alright and comfortable enough. No complaints really.

I had stayed at the Vive for 7 days and it was the most amazing time. The staff was lovely, the location was perfect (close to the beach and all the shops. I walked around the whole city), and the best part was the free breakfast and the beach supplies that the hotel offered us for free!! Those really helped. Everything about our stay was perfect, I couldn't have asked for a better hotel experience.

Excellent location and friendly and helpful staff!

I've stayed at the Vive a few times before, and though the lobby area remains modern and immaculate, the rooms themselves are quite dated. From the stained furniture to the cracked bathroom fixtures to the noisy ac (and dripping ac from above), the room was definitely not as comfortable as one would hope or remember. However, the staff remains professional and the included amenities (breakfast buffet and beach supplies like towels, mats, and umbrellas) are appreciated (though paid for as part of resort fees and are not "free" as some write). I do like the Vive for its convenience and familiarity, but the rooms can certainly do with updates.

For starters the staff were AMAZING. So nice. Check-in is at three, but we got there early around noon and our room was ready so we got to check in early at no charge which was immaculate !! My Husband and I were celebrating our five year anniversary And the staff were nice enough to bring us a box of chocolates and card Congratulating us on our anniversary and thank you for choosing them to stay for our special occasion. The walk is very convenient to the beach and shops. The breakfast buffet was delicious. I loved the fact that they had beach towels and equipment for use. The room was very clean and we also had housekeeping if we needed our room serviced during our stay which we did take advantage of that and even the housekeepers were super nice. I would definitely recommend this property to any friends and family and I will be staying here again!

The staff at Vive Hotel are so friendly and helpful. The valet parking was very convient and the staff were freindly and gave excellent directions and suggestions of places to go drive to. The front desk staff were awesome and gave us great suggestions of places to go eat. Our room was very comfortable. We have a familt suite that was perfect for us and our 2 daugters. We loved that it wasn't a typical "chain" hotel and that it was very unique. We had an excellent stay and experience at the Vive Hotel !

The amenities—use of beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrellas were a huge bonus! A 3 minutes walk to the beach and to nearby shops and entertainment is fantastic! The staff- from check in until check out were efficient and hospitable. The free breakfast fills you up until lunch time and it’s delicious!

Outstanding service. Mini fridge didn't work, breakfast was as expected. But hard boiled eggs were cold from the fridge 1st day, then warm the 2nd. Wpuld prefer scrambled.

Great service! Hotel room was small, b Ut we knew that ahead of time. Great breakfast (they even boxed up breakfast boxes to take on our early tour). They also had everything needed to go to the beach, and the location couldn’t have been better.

The Vive Hotel is a sweet hidden gem-very well located on Kuhio next to a bus stop, across from quick Mom and Pop spot-Musubi Cafe awesome and fun! Waikiki Beach is a 5 min walk….the hotel provides beach towels, mats, chairs but….the best “extra” feature of the Vive is a fresh daily all you can eat breakfast buffet complete w 5 types of cut fruit, eggs, bacon, toast, multiple pastries, hot cereal pineapple juice and Hawaiian coffee!!! It’s excellent and becomes quite a money saver esp if traveling w a lg group. Thank you Vive-service throughout the hotel is stellar, too!

Good location and rate was fair for the room I booked.

Felt extremely welcomed from the moment we arrived until check-out. Numerous personal touches and excellent location just minutes from Waikiki beach. Breakfast was fresh and very good.

The front desk service was great. The employees were very helpful and hospitable. My family and I enjoyed the stay and felt very welcome.

Close to the beach, shops and local eats. But the best part is the warm staff! From the front desk (Rachel) to the exceptionally friendly and helpful valet (Arnel) we felt special and taken care of. The complimentary breakfast, filtered water, cooler bags,umbrellas,mats,beach towels,beach chairs and beach toys saved time and money. Value & Great Service can’t be beat!

More attention should be given to the daily cleaning of the room.

The VIVE was located a near the beach, shopping and local food places. The staff were polite and friendly. We were warmly greeted by valet Arnel and checked in by Rachel at the front desk. The hotel provided umbrellas, mats, beach towels, chairs, cooler bags, ice and filtered water which made the trip extra enjoyable while saving us time and money. We started every morning with a complimentary breakfast that also kicked off our day with a smile. The room was a bit dated and the air conditioning unit was noisy but did keep the room cool. Overall we would be back for the value, location and most of all the friendly staff.

Thank you for the stay
