When we first arrived 2hours early, we ask about an early check in. They said the room was ready but wanted $27 early check in fee. At which point we left and came back later. We had already prepaid for a two stay and were very disappointed. They also had use sign a paper that they did not have daily room service unless we put out the door hanger requesting service. We did that and when we came back that night nothing had been done and we had to go to the office and ask for clean wash clothes. Although we had these issues we made the best of everything and enjoyed our time in Taos

Will only stay here when we come back! They truly bend over backwards to make your stay care free,,, and the breakfast is out of this world! Love this place!!!!!

This is our 3rd stay at this great place! It is clean, spacious, comfortable and they have a year round hot tub available to guests. The breakfast is superb and so much more than one would expect as a free breakfast as part of a stay! In addition to the amazing breakfast, they have hot drinks all day, cookies, chips and salsa, and yesterday they had a giant crock of green chilli stew on a cold November day!

I have been staying at the El Pueblo Lodge since I was a kid and love it for its nostalgia and overall aesthetic. The beds are comfy and the room is rusticly charming.
Now let’s talk about their amazing full breakfast offering including gluten free breads! Highly recommended!

Check in was easy and welcoming. The room was large and comfortable. There was a wood burning fireplace in our room but we didn’t have time to enjoy it unfortunately. The stairs to the second floor rooms could definitely use some work and our shower head wasn’t very powerful. The grounds outside are lovely — lots of large shade trees and chairs to rest in. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was very helpful. We’d love to stay again if we travel to Taos.

Trip with a friend to do some hiking. We loved the location of the hotel as well as the friendly staff members. Easy to get to our hiking locations each day. A very nice organic market is an 8 minute walk north and you can bring back food and drink to eat outside at picnic tables. Walk south for 8 minutes and you are in the heart of Taos plaza. The free breakfast each morning was outstanding. We would recommend this place to everyone.

Great casita in a small cluster of old school lodge buildings. Fireplace in the room with plentiful wood would have been delightful on a colder week, but on this warm week left a strong woody smell in the room.
Enjoyed the large grassy, shaded yard with nice Adirondack chairs to spend a couple of relaxing afternoons reading and talking.

We had a great stay at the El Pueblo Inn! This is a fun place to stay! It's definitely a bit of throw back to the heyday of roadside motels, but don't let that dissuade you. Welcoming staff. The rooms were large, colorful, comfortable and clean. Large, comfy beds with selection of pillows. Full amenities and everything worked great. We loved the covered balcony and the grounds were vast and green with table and games interspersed throughout. We didn't visit the pool/hot-tub area but it looked nice. The breakfast was fantastic! Large and tasty. The cookies were a nice touch. Would highly recommend this "motel" and we'll be staying here again the next time we are in Taos.

We had a great stay! Everyone was very nice & accommodating. Check in was super easy. Room was large, clean, loved our front sitting area & the patio overlooking the garden area. The hot tub & pool were very clean & such a great place to hang out, meet new people & relax. Besides the wonderful & varied breakfast they also offered free cookies & chips & salsa mid afternoon. A very nice extra. Great location in spite of the road construction right out front. All the staff were extremely helpful in working around this. The lodge is old but well maintained with unique character & the grounds are beautiful. We will stay here again!

The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. However, we discovered early in the morning that there was no hot water. (Fastest cold shower I ever took!) We were leaving before the front desk was open, so I notified one of the breakfast attendants. He had me leave a note and said that they had been having problems off and on. I can understand an emergency, but it sounded like this issue should have been resolved. We had three rooms among our group, and none of us had hot water.

Good location around 10 minute walk from the main square in Taos.
Plenty of car parking next to the room.
Room spacious and comfortable. The corners at floor level were dusty but it didn't impact our stay as such. We had a first floor room which features a door to a shared balcony with partial screening from the room next door.
Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and a lovely seating area outside.
Outside spaces were clean with plenty of seating.
The pool was good although the sun loungers were in need of repair

El Pueblo Lodge was a great location for walking downtown or taking off on an adventure. Our room was spacious with a small balcony. We appreciated the common green spaces, breakfast patio and pool. It is a little dated, but well maintained and charming.

Like being at grandma's house: the buildings are old, it's showing its age, but it is clean, comfortable, welcoming, warm, the rooms are very large, the grounds beautiful with lots of seating and tall, mature, trees that provide lots of shade, and the amenities such as the afternoon snacks and morning breakfast are great. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. Overall, we will definitely stay here again and will bring family and friends next time we're in Taos.
