Dated interior, awful breakfast with paper plates and plastic cutlery that all ends up in the bin (and presumably landfill). It looked like a prison inside, especially the breakfast room. It's cheap, but you get what you pay for. We wouldn't stay in a Days Inn place again.

This Days Inn was an older hotel with no elevator. It was clean and the staff was great.

I should have clued in when I went to book. I called in to reserve a room under a wedding block. The guy on the phone asked me for the grooms credit card number. How the heck would I know that?? Anyhow, after some conversation and frustration I booked outside of the block held for wedding guests. Paid more money but whatever. And then we got to the hotel. Slow check in, walked up stairs with luggage and dress clothes Then our room wasn’t ready so a wait to get in. The room smelled musty, and in the morning everyone’s lungs are hurting and we all have a cough. (We’re not smokers) But hey, it’s cheaper than the other two hotels in the same area.

Location was good and a few minutes drive from whatever was needed.
Rooms were excellent given the price.
Negatives:
Only thing missing was an elevator. Carrying heavy luggage up and down the stairs after a long trip was a bit cumbersome.
Plus the fridge in our room was leaking water inside the fridge itself(No impact to room floor or otherwise) ... These things need to be checked and taken care of.

The property is definitely showing its age and does not have an elevator. The room seemed fairly clean but had a smell to it. Beds were okay but pillows were not. There were towels hanging on a hook in the bathroom which appeared to be previously used, not with the clean, folded ones on the rack above the toilet. The tissue holder had an empty box in it.
Housekeeping staff started banging around, using the loudest vacuum known to man, having a non-stop, loud conversation just outside our room at 7am on a holiday Monday. They knocked on our door and unlocked it to open simultaneously without waiting for any kind of response; if we didn't have it latched they would have walked right in.
Complimentary breakfast was extremely limited and the room was a mess with no-one tending to it. We will not choose this hotel for any future stays in Hinton.

The beds were very comfortable and convenient. Although a hot tub or pool would have been a welcome addition, their absence did not significantly detract from the overall experience.

There was bugs around the light in the washroom and hairdryer had quite a bit of hair from the previous guest on it.

Property was good. Room was very good. Bed was comfortable but squeaky mattress. Pillows had no stuffing in them.

A nice property and a very friendly front of house. When we stayed they were chock full of the service crews who were helping with the forest fire recovery in Jasper. We were lucky to find such a nice spacious room in this case due to the recovery efforts, and we remain very grateful.

The room was big. The A/C worked but was hard to figure out. The breakfast was ok, but not great. The price was the best we could find.

My family have lots of luggage and we were put on the 2nd floor, there was no elevator. the front desk clerk told me there WASN'T MANY STAIRS. After packing 5 suitcase and 4 totes up 21 stairs our room was at the end of the hallway. I wasn't very impressed

There are other hotels around the area. I would not recommend this hotel if anyone has a lot of luggage because of the stairs. Also, the breakfast doesn't have lot of options, one day only fruit and bread was available.

Very small room. Bug on bedroom wall. Bugs on bathroom floor. Constant dripping of tub faucet. Wet carpet by air conditioner. Good continental breakfast. Very helpful desk clerks.

It's a small hotel but well-maintained. Breakfast was much better than expected if you eat meat and eggs. Not many options for vegetarians/vegans. The reception area could do better. I came very early to check if they could allow early check-ins, but nobody was at the reception until someone showed up after 10 minutes.

One night stay on way to Edmonton. Older hotel that smelled of old cigarettes or something.
Room, bedding and towels were clean. Front desk staff friendly. Beds were old with plywood bases.
Wouldn’t stay here again just because of the odour in rooms and hallways. Woke up with sinus congestion, possibly from smell.

I found the bathroom unclean and you had two tiny pillows per bed and the tv was too small. For the price really sub standard.

The room smelled like cigarettes and the temperature control broke at 2 AM. The tiny shelf in bathroom was tilted down 15 degrees. The coffee maker was broken

The website is not a fair representation of the property. It was dingy and dirty and I cancelled my second night. Try to stay somewhere else. Oh, and the exercise room? Disgusting.
