Beautiful peaceful old style hotel with a modern twist. Staff are efficient and extremely helpful. Have to mention receptionist Kate. What a beautiful young woman. she was pleasant, kind, nothing was too much fir her. She will make an excellent manager one day. All the staff were lovely. Also duty Manager Cormac who sorted out a few little issues we had without fuss. This was my second time staying at Killashee and return again

Excellent hotel, took our grandson to Coldplay concert and this hotel was the best relaxing accommodation for us. Grandson’s comments were fantastic hotel and the ladies talked to me.

What a hidden gem. Definitely will be coming back next trip to Ireland. The town of Naas and Kildare are excellent to stroll/ shop/ dine. The property itself is beautiful and the staff was excellent. We did have some issues with our room not being up to par from what I thought I ordered online (meaning location and view of room, walls are thin, and we had an issue with a gas metal heated towel rack close to the shower that was apparently on (gas) and no knob to turn off but when we called for assistance they were quick to handle situation. The garden ground were amazing to walk through. The 2 restaurants are amazing and Larkin lounge was the cutest for after dinner drinks. Highly recommend this hotel that looks like a castle

Quite impressive when we arrived with a friendly welcome at reception. The hotel is in great shape. Service is fantastic. Our room was huge and well appointed. The leisure centre and spa was in a separate building but it was a sunny day. They could use some water fountains in the gym and pool area. Other than that I could not complain.
We had a great lunch and a wonderful dinner. Followed by a lovely breakfast. All with friendly and attentive service.
It’s a great hotel and seems popular for weddings. Definitely recommend it.

This place is like a palace, beautiful gardens to enjoy, nice fitness facilities and great restaurant and bars. Place is huge, I think the gardens were 25 acres.

The hotel is probably best suited to adults. For one, the leisure center is in a separate building to the hotel and isn't all that family friendly. We went for a swim on the evening of our arrival only to be told children weren't allowed in after 18.45. Children did not have access until 09.00 the next morning which didn't suit us as we were heading to a local attraction quite early.

Just the one night stay and as we hadn’t been away in ages, decided to get the suite. Room was fab. Hotel is gorgeous and the gardens and everything are amazing.

That is an excellent hotel with a nice facilities. It's a very comfortable hotel, the best option for a relax. The whole complex is so large that you will need time, some times a bit chaotic to find the rooms. Rooms are quite and nice. The breakfast is not according to the rest of the hotel (but acceptable). I will repeat for sure.

Overall, very comfortable, great bed, and high quality linen, very clean, though bathroom a bit musty smelling. Asked for a quiet room and got it. Good sleep. Very good breakfast, with delicious made-to-order omlette and good range of fresh fruit and pastries. A lot of conference rooms and wedding function rooms so can be busy and noisy. The FBD branding on everything makes it feel like a conference venue sometimes rather than a hotel. Ask for quiet bedroom! Staff really friendly and obliging. Proper pool and gym, if a bit shabby, and again feels more commercial than a private hotel facility, and seems to be open to outside members. Lovely gardens.

Beautiful hotel and would recommend. Excellent surroundings. Overall it was great.
We had one issue with hot water in our bedroom there was none. The manager was excellent is coming up but we had to go to breakfast without a shower while they sorted it. Once we returned my wife had a warm shower but then I got in and it went cold again and we lost hot water. We ohoned again to be told let it run for 5 mins and we did and it came hot and I got in only to find 1 minute later into the shower it was cold. I suffered and had a cold shower as I was fed up contacting them and we wanted to get going.
Room number 236 check the warm water. It was disappointing to leave like this :(

Great place to stay! Very friendly place. Elevators to rooms takes a minute to figure out and the pool is in a separate building. Those items are not hard to figure out, but should be noted. Food was excellent. Recommend the aged steak and chicken wrap in the Oak and Anvil. Solid old fashioned too. Will come again if we travel back to Ireland.

Beautiful hotel, excellent food and service and spotless, grounds also very nice. Only complaint was that the hotel was far too hot. It was very uncomfortable to sleep with the heat. A shame because everything else was perfect.

First off the hotel & property itself are lovely. Room was average, food at restaurants was good but significantly overpriced. Elevator was broken our entire stay, housekeeping didn’t show up at all one day & the pool/hot tub is open to the public. Overall I’d call it good, not sure I’d recommend though.

We enjoyed our stay. Note to North American travellers. Be sure to check the fitness centre hours as the pool closed earlier than expected. Thankfully we were there with enough time for our children to enjoy the pool.
