Nice hotel for reasonable price. Good breakfast. No elevator. Fun town with Wizard of Oz Museum.

We arrived around midnight after driving all day from Santa Fe, NM. The man at the front desk was very friendly and check-in was quick and efficient. The hotel was quiet, and we got a good night's sleep. The free breakfast was good.

People above us were still tromping around at midnight and it disturbed our sleep. However, after reporting it to the staff, they quieted down. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The only other thing was, by 8am the eggs were watery, sausage looked under cooked, and not appealing.

Booked the room online and had no problems at check in. Friendly service throughout our stay. Everything about the place was clean. Good free breakfast with really great coffee! I'm sure we will be back at some point.

Clean small hotel. Decent breakfast, no funky smells. Pool was open. No elevator to 2nd floor, but that was not an issue for us.

I was reminded by the clerk that when using apps like Expedia I need to specify 1st floor or elevator access. This building is without an elevator. Nate was able to change us to a ground floor room so things worked out. Nate was also very helpful in giving me the lay of the land.

This place was above what I expected for a small town. We felt welcomed from the time of checkin. Monday nights is complimentary dinner night. Food was very good. Clean rooms and good breakfast.

We had room 121 reserved at Wamego Inn and Suites. When we arrived to check in we were told there was an incident and we were moved to the second floor. My wife was using a walker and could not get up the stairs. We were given a room across the street at the Simmer motel. The air conditioner didn't work and we were moved to a second room at the Simmer Motel. The room was in no way worth the money we paid...We will never be staying at that establishment again.

breakfast was poor I traveled with another person who works in the food industry and sausage did not look done,, potatoes were not done and cold.. gravy luke warm and biscuit cold.. rooms were clean .. front staff not overly friendly

While the staff and hotel were fine, the breakfast was terrible. The sausage didn't appear to be fully cooked. My friend got sick after eating it. I tried to eat the hashbrowns, but they were not fully cooked either. I did eat a muffin, to be on the safe side.
It's a great place to stay for an overnight trip. Be reminded, there is no elevator.

The hotel overbooked, what i booked was a room with 2 queen beds for 2 adult and 2 children but what we received was a room with just 1 king bed. The staff provided cots but it just wasnt what i had booked. Luckily we were only there for 1 night.

The place was old and dingy, the shower was clean but looked dirty as it was aging, and the walls were thin, so you could hear a ton of noise (including loud music). If you just need a place to sleep, it works, but was further from the interstate than it appeared in my search. Our room did not smell and we didn’t see any sign of bugs at all.

We always find this hotel to be clean, super quiet and always a good hot breakfast included! We also love the convenience of being right near access to the major highways. It's also very close to the larger city for additional dining and entertainment options.

Nice property in a small Kansas town. We stayed there while traveling to a football game in Manhattan. Enjoyed the breakfast before heading to the game. Prices a little lower than staying directly in Manhattan. Plus, we enjoyed seeing the town the next day. What fun to see the Wizard of Oz museum and the Yellow Brick Road!
