It was amazing. The service is beyond excellence. My ocean view room was one of the best I’ve stayed in. They also had turn down service. So luxurious!

Great experience! Love everything about this property. Very clean, the pools are very well maintained and easy access to the beach. Staff everywhere very friendly and useful always ready to help out. Thank you everyone for making our visit a memorable experience.

While this resort is beautiful, world-class, it is the staff- Kristan and Veronica at the restaurant and Charles (Charlie?) who gave us insights on the art there who truly made our brief stay memorable and exceptional.

The Sanctuary is a beautiful resort. It is really upscale. The rooms and facilities are wonderful. The staff is very nice and attentive. It is a great place for golfers, tennis players or anyone that wants a relaxing place. We had a fabulous time!!!

It's a Monday in the middle of February. What could go wrong? Everything. Look the indidivual staff people are nice. But the concierge "desk' never answers the phone. They never made our dinner reservation. But worst of all, the "Ocean" view is in this dingy corner and you'd need the neck of a giraffe to see the water. They say they have no room to move me--even though I could roll a bowling ball down this place, it's so empty. Bottom line; they just don't want to make people happy.

We were super impressed with our stay! It was one of the most beautiful plaved we have stayed in a while, with superior service, great pools, good (expensive) food and just a great overall atmosphere.

One of the bestt hotels ever. Offseason also gave a terrific value. Our room rate was close to $370. During golf season, would have been $1060.

Treated like royalty! Met Chris first, so he is my favorite! The gentleman that cleaned my room folded my toothpaste...IMPRESSIVE. Room was spotless. Didn't expect an ocean view...LOVED IT. Everyone greated me. Felt very welcomed. Everyone gave 5-star service. Nothing to change.

The food and service was excellent. The facility was beautiful as was the beach. The pools were ok. Drinks were 20 dollars each. Plan to spend some money.

I requested a warm plate for the buffet breakfast, was told warm plates are only available when ordering off the menu!!
No grab rails in ‘marble’ bathroom/shower seems dangerous, a fall risk.
The pull on the ceiling fan was inaccessible without standing on a chair, again a fall risk.

The Sanctuary is a first class hotel. The location, (right on the beach), is beautiful. Service is outstanding and rooms are immaculate. The Sanctuary always provide a great experience and it is the only place we will stay when visiting Kiawah.

The Sanctuary is a beautiful resort! The hotel rooms were spacious, comfortable and immaculate! The lobby bar was inviting with good service and the pianist was absolutely fantastic!! Unfortunately, the weather was terrible but we were able to find many things to keep us busy! We look forward to returning again when we can enjoy more of the outdoor activities!!

Wonderful getaway for the 2 of us. Called to see if early check-in was possible and we got upgraded to a partial ocean view! Room service was an extra treat for us, but plenty of places to eat at the Sanctuary and off-site.
