Breakfast was essentially the same thing every day, scrambled eggs, chicken sausage patties, potatoes, waffles, etc. Good but repetitive.

The Hampton Inn & Suites is my usual go to place to stay in Stamford. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Parking is convenient and free. I have found the management to be very helpful and will go out of their way if an issue comes up to help make your stay wonderful.

they would not recognize the booking we made for our guests. So, eventually our guests had to make a new booking using their credit card. This was very embarasing for us.

Staff friendly, handy for downtown Stamford.
Room was very clean and comfortable but little things needed attention like the windows being scratched and the fastenings being very old and fragile. The toilet roll holder was falling off the wall in the bathroom as well. Definitely not big enough deals to not stay again but a little disappointing.

Up to date furnishings, clean, breakfast was good and had a variety of options. The suite we stayed in was expansive and the sofa bed was decent for a sofa bed. One downside was that we were on the front side of the hotel and our room had wooden blinds that let in light from the patio of the restaurant connected to the restaurant. There was no blackout curtain over those blinds but there were black out curtains over the large windows in the room. Overall, the hotel was great!

Our room was clean, spacious and the bed very comfortable. Parking was easy and free. Originally we booked for 1 night, extending it to 2nd night with the night staff moving some bookings around so we could remain in the same room. The complimentary breakfast and coffee bar would satisfy most - bread, bagels, cereal, fruit, juice and various hot food. Anyone looking at accommodation in Stamford would definitely recommend the Hampton Inn & Suites.

The room was 74 degrees. I went to desk and requested another room. I was told someone would be up to repair the AC. Hours later I went back to ask about the repairs and they didnt know what I was talking about. Requested another room again and was told someone would make repairs soon. Got back to the room late that evening and they had moved me to another room. The new room was hotter than the first. The next morning I complained while checking out. They apologized and said they would give me a room credit but since I booked through hotels.com I was out of luck. TWO MISERABLE NIGHTS

Went here for a stay for my husband's birthday. The staff was nice and the hotel was clean. Breakfast every morning until 11 am if I'm not mistaken. I would stay again, I recommend it.

The room was clean, but there was a bug near the doorway. Luckily we got it! Also, did not like the fact that front desk clerk “Shelley” states that the hotel does not provide paper receipts to guests who book thru third party sites. Every other hotel was booked the same way, but did inquire as to whether or not we wanted a paper receipt, so I know it can be done. Complementary breakfast just average and run of the mill, nothing special. All and all a so-so stay. Luckily it was just one night.

The temperature and pressure of the shower water was EXCELLENT. The room did feel spacious and was nicely decorated. The city view was beautiful.
Crystal and Shelly (beautiful red hair) were the only two front desk staff that provided exceptional service. They greeted with a smile, were knowledgeable, professional, hard-working and accommodating, and seemed like they wanted to be at work and provide great service. The others did not give the same energy or vibes which was disappointing.

This hotel was convenient and close for us to walk into town. We were very disappointed with the condition of the room. The air did not work and was close to 80 degrees in the room all night. The toilet in the bathroom did not work. We had someone look at it and try to fix it but it still did not work. Overall, the stay was just okay.

It was my favorite place to stay because of its proximity to New York, highway access and the gym. However my last visit was spoiled by an employee who accused me and my wife of not having a room after we returned from the gym and went to breakfast. In addition the room was freezing cold all night and the bathroom had ants crawling around.

I stayed at this hotel on 3/22-3/24 and it was amazing. I want to recognize the Manager at the front deck he was absolutely amazing and professional. He went above and beyond to see that our stay was awesome. Thanks again ❤️
