Everything was all right except one setup was not normal: the microwave oven and cup tray were placed so low, you almost have to sit on the carpet to get a water cut and using microwave. See the photo below. the dust in the carpet (by walking) may contaminate the drinking cups and Ice tray. Suggest to use different cabinet for Microwave and cup tray.

Everything was fine with the hotel and staff. I had barley checked in and was getting my family situated. I went to iron my shirt and when i pulled the iron out there was a note that stated the room had bed bugs. Upon inspecting around the mattresses i found stains on the corners of one of the mattresses (bed bug stains) and also saw remnants of a dead bed bug. We packed our thing up and left a.s.a p. I would never stay at this hotel again!

Clean and new property, good mattresses, quiet hotel. Not far from downtown and beach.
However, the sofa bed was terrible, first it could not accommodate two people (as we were kind to building on this) and second, the rollover mattress was terrible (not comfortable at all)

Avoid room 110 if you plan to sleep past 6am. Room shares a wall with the breakfast area so at 6:14 I awoke to chairs tables being moved and other general noise.

It was our family weekend trip. Access to the hotel was very easy, big and spacious parking. Check- in quick and easy. Lobby, dining area and room was newly remodeled and clean. Many breakfast items. Friendly stuff.

Hotel was dirty. They say no smoking rooms but smell like cigarettes. Late night guy is more concerned with sleeping than being bothered about doing his job.

Decent room for the price, but no wow factors. Could use updates. We stayed in Room 209 and the toilet ran non-stop. The hotel didn't seem too busy but somehow we had noisy neighbors both nights. Breakfast was convenient but limited. The night front desk staff wasn't the friendliest and were sleeping in the front lobby. The morning front desk staff however were great! Housekeeping was trying to rush us out of our room at 9am, but we just left the DND sign on the door until checkout.
Overall, you get what you pay for, it's budget friendly, and just like any other place it had it's pro's & con's.

We were in South Haven for the New Year's Eve Celebration and were looking for a reasonably priced, comfortable and convenient place to stay. The Comfort Suites checked all of those boxes. We were pleasantly surprised to find the staff to be friendly, the room clean (newly renovated...?) and the breakfast fresh and good. One of the New Year's Eve Celebration shuttle stops was directly next door at Three Blondes Brewing making this location even more convenient if you didn't want to make the short drive into town. We're already planning on returning to the Comfort Inn for next year's New Year's Celebration or maybe even the Ice Breaker Festival in February.

The room was very clean and quiet. We only stayed for one night so we didn't get to utilize the pool or gym, but the breakfast was pretty decent. The in-room coffee was terrible, but the coffee out in the common area was pretty good.

Nothing from the outside would tell you that this is a true stand out among the rest of the hotels on this strip.
when you walk in the entry way you can smell how clean it is. Karen checked me in and attended to my every need he is an amazing person kind and thought-full. they even give you a welcome gift of water snacks and mints. it was everything and more then i was expecting cant wait to stay there agin next year.
