I had stayed here before and did return, We had a one night stay and the hotel was good and the staff were excellent. It is close to the main train station and there are a few strip clubs up the street so the outside noise went through most of the night. Closing the windows worked well to keep the noise out.

The front desk lady was so nice and hospitable, I was impressed so much! Breakfast is very good!

Very close to the train station and only about 10 minutes to Marienplatz. Our room was large, with lots of storage and a big bathroom. An alcove served as a makeup station, or would also be a great desk. We enjoyed their generous breakfast one morning of our stay. The desk staff as exceptionally helpful, and even printed out our revised rail schedule for us.

Very well located within Munich City Centre and 2minutes walk from the Hauptbahnhof. The hotel is well maintained and the room I was allocated towards the back of the hotel was very spacious, comfortable and clean. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast provided was very nice with hot and cold options. Thank you.

City centre hotel so always less fortunate people in the area… like every city! Great location, mostly nice staff! Would stay here again and would recommend!

Had air conditioning but it didn’t really work so the room was always hot. In a strange block that I wouldn’t recommend. An employee knocked three times on our door at 8:45 in the morning but not sure what he needed. Close to the train station was a plus. They wouldn’t let us check in too early but would hold our luggage.

The property was okay overall, check in was excellent as we could check in when we arrived at 11am, room and bathroom was a good size. The service of the staff was excellent and the location was really convenient to the station and not a far walk from the main square and in the day they leave out fresh pastries for guests which was a nice touch
However the beds were uncomfortable, the AC was so bad and only cooled the area directly under it, the room wasn’t filthy but it wasn’t really clean either. The area felt a little unsafe as it seemed we were on the edge of the ghetto and was quite busy but we are right next to the station so expected I suppose
I wouldn’t really rate it as a 4 star either

The check-in was really good. The room was very hot and there was a smell of old something. The cleaning managed to wake us 2 times and came also rushing into our room 15 minutes before we left. Breakfast was good.

The best thing about this hotel was the breakfast, a cook makes custom omelettes for you which I thought was a great touch, plenty of options, decent breakfast. Down point- no kettle or tea coffee facilities in rooms. Also hallways are very poorly maintained, need to be re carpeted and painted. Good location, but AC shuts off after 2 hours?

I foolishly didn’t check as I arrived later than planned and was in a hurry - but I booked a decent double and got a single. The area around the hotel is a bit down at feel. At the time if writing, there are major works going on around the main station so that there is no vehicle access to the Schillerstraße from that side. At first glance the pedestrian access also looks to be blocked - but there is a way through (July 2024).

This is not a four star hotel, definitely a three star. Great location though

Saw a mouse in the breakfast room in the evening. There are a lot of building works around the hotel at the moment which is not enhancing the hotel experience.

Pro : near to train station, clean room
Cons : poor wifi, air condition auto shutdown every 3hour, old elevator, not friendly staff at check in counter , noisy from outside construction, small room , no amenities in bathroom

This was a pretty simple hotel. No real amenities aside from a bar and restaurant. The front desk told us there was breakfast but failed to tell us there was a fee- we only found out at checkout.

Friendly staff and great breakfast. Stayed 11 days and it was very convenient to train station and walking distance to historic Munich.

Good hotel. Reception was very friendly. Saber was very helpful. Room is comfortable and clean. There was a lot of construction around and the areas seemed not easy to navigate then. It could be just a temporary issue.

Decent location however in a seedier part of Munich. I never felt unsafe and it was close to transportation.
The bed was a deal breaker-saggy soft mattress and I developed a kink in my neck that is still there days later. For that alone I cannot recommend.

The location is great. The rooms are clean, tidy and totally adequate for all you could ever want or need. Where this place lets itself down is their ‘customer service’ that is rude or non existent. They can’t find your reservation and then blame the booking engine you use for getting your apparently getting your name wrong

The property is well located nearby the main rail station. However, a building construction next door is very noisy early in the morning. Along the street there are some very seedy cafes and night clubs.
The room we had was large and well appointed. Breakfast was very good.

This does not seem to be a safe neighborhood. We were not comfortable walking alone. Room was warm and A/C didnt work. Shower didnt work very well. Fridge was very dirty. This is not a 4 Star Hotel. L

The Hotel was clean and main lobby area was very nice as was the dining room. There was only 1 small elevator for 5 floors. The rooms were clean but the frig hairdryer and air were ancient and did not work properly. When we ask they said there was no one on duty to fix it. Spent the entire night sweating because it was warm outside even with the window open. I would not recommend.

Decent 3* hotel. Not in the best area, red light area 50yds down the road, lots of noisy construction going on right outside the hotel (starting at 7am). Air con Lowestoft temp was 19'c and shut itself off after a few hours. Lots of hairs and dust in the bathroom. Shower good. Bed smallish, duvet didn't quite cover it. Dirty towel left on floor despite replacing with new one. No fridge but complementary water and juices in room. No blind in bathroom, just frosted glass, overlooked by several windows. I wouldn't stay here again.

The area around the hotel was blocked due to constructions which made the walk from and to the station very long. The staff were helpful and nice.

The location really good and service were great. The only thing I missed was a fresh air system. There was an Air Heat Pump (cooling/heating) so it helps but doesn't bring fresh air. This is a fairly common problem in Europe, not just at this hotel.

Dirty room with mould and dusty. Very noisy and could hear neighbouring rooms use the bathroom. This hotel is not worthy of its 4 star rating.

There was a faulty hairdryer that caused a small fire and a fuse to short. Manager completely unapologetic, was more interested in removing traces of burn than anything else. Faulty cable could have electrocuted me…staff uninterested.
King size bed means king size bed, not 2 single beds crammed together.
Staff both at reception and restaurant lacking any client services experience or training. More personality in a rock.
Area appalling: strip joints, gold pawnbrokers and kebab shops abound.
Avoid this hotel, one step up from a hostel. 2 star at best, not what I booked!
Expedia needs to do a better job of vetting its hotels, I filtered in 4/5 starts…..this hotel is nowhere in that vicinity.
