This is an amazing property. We are a pretty well travelled couple and although our visit was short, this was one of the better properties we have visited. The common areas and our accommodations were beautiful. Our hostess Sydney was so charming and personable. Late afternoon tastings and charcuterie. We were offered a variety of wines to try and Sydney was very gracious answering all our questions and providing her Napa experiences and property. After morning coffee in outdoor patio followed by a wonderful cooked to order breakfast of omelettes, sausages, cheeses, yougart, juices, breads….served at the big table with other guests. It was a great start to our Napa trip. We are looking forward to returning. Thanks to owner for sharing McClelland House and Sydney for your hospitality.

Excellent property. The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the home and the local area. She gave us a tour and made us feel right at home. We were totally happy with our experience. From the moment we arrived til the time we left everything was way above what we expected. The House is impeccably decorated a mix of new and old world charm. We had delightful afternoon wine and a beautiful cheese and nut board. That evening we went to a local Italian restaurant recommended by staff. It was just perfect. When we came back we celebrated a birthday with champagne and cake! Later on we watched a movie on the big screen TV in the common area. The next morning fresh coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice
greeted us! The chef was a wonderful addition! Breakfast cooked to order and delightful conversation with him and the house keeper. We couldn't have picked a better B&B!

We absolutely loved our stay at The McLellan House! It was beautiful, elegant, clean and staff were amazing! We were blown away with our visit. Highly recommend this place and will definitely come back again!

Beautiful property. Completely updated 150yo Victorian walking distance to downtown Napa with plenty of street parking. Wonderful, welcoming staff. Will definitely be back when it's warm.

The house is absolutely lovely and beautifully restored. The room was well appointed and stocked with free still and sparkling water, coffee and fancy teas. The bed was comfortable and the full blackout shades were a nice touch. Choolee, the owner, personally hosted a generous happy hour (that ended up going on for several hours) for all of the guests of the mansion. The house is east walking distance to several restaurants and the river. We will be back for sure.

The best way I can describe the experience was awkward. When we arrived no one was there to check us in, no sign saying we were in right spot, no explanation on what to do. We had to call and get the information. We were the 1st guest there that day and had to explain to everyone else call the owner.
Breakfast was awkward too, they said served between 8-10. Yet when we to kitchen the cook was just arriving at 8 and didn’t say anything. We had to ask where to go to eat, had to get our coffee and had to ask when breakfast was. Didn’t eat till closer to 8:45
For how nice this place is, how much you spend per night you’d expect top notch customer service and that we did not get. We did like our room and bathroom but would not return giving the service. It was not a bed and breakfast but an awkward Airbnb.

Everything was great, but Sonia went above and beyond being helpful, booking us a last minute in-room massage, and being generally great. Breakfast was also excellent. Highly recommended, will definitely come again.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in the carriage house. It was the best place we have ever stayed. We will stay at the McClellan House on our next visit to NAPA.

Absolutely beautiful 19th century/Gatsby home with all the amenities of new construction. Service was spectacular and one of the best B&Bs I've ever been too. Great location within walking to downtown Napa and plenty of street parking for the rental cars.

Beautiful house. Very clean. Good homemade breakfast. The owners were apparently out of town so there was really no check-in. Our friends opened the door for us. The cleaning person was there but she didnt speak English. There was an envelope on front step with our key and coupons in it. It all worked out and was really a lovely place to stay.

This gem is close to downtown Napa 10-15 min walk to everything. My wife and I live BandBs and this one did not disappoint. Stay here you won’t regret it.

It was as lovely place to stay in Napa. Comfortable room, lovely bathroom and private terrace included! Breakfast was great, hosts were welcoming and helpful. Easy to park, easy walk into downtown and all the yummy local restaurants and markets. Great base for wine country visiting!

This Bed & Breakfast was excellent! We would recommend it and would stay there again. The pillows were so soft and comfortable. It was in an excellent location and our host was able to recommend many great tasting rooms and restaurants in the area.

This B&B is a charming house within walking distance of downtown Napa. When we arrived our keys were in an envelope by the door with some maps and discount offers for tastings at numerous wineries. The owners have many commitments over which they divide their time and may not be present at the B&B. The room was large and comfortable with a beautiful patio but there should be better lighting provided at night for the small set of stairs leading to the Firenze suite. The fireplace was warm to the touch even though the controls were set to off. Breakfast was large and delicious but was served at 9:15 am which may not be an issue for some but felt like lunch time for us!

This b@b is absolutely charming in shabby chic kind of way ...the combination of furniture and personal touches gives it a unique and delightful feel,
The hosts were very friendly ,helpful and made the guests all feel very at home for breakfast
The house is in a quiet street but with in a short walking distance to a variety of restaurants so we enjoyed 4 dinners with out having to drive on the "wrong side of the road"
We would definitely recommend this to other Aussie travellers

when I stay at a B & B. I expect breakfast at a reasonable time in the morning. Instead of a time range, breakfast is at 9:15 for everyone. Make sure you check your schedule to fit with hers. I also expect a TV somewhere in the house. There was important news happening and we couldn't watch because there is no TV. There are not enough outlets in the rooms to charge electronics or run window AC. There was a floor fan in the room because the ceiling fan was inoperable. They do give you some decent information about the area when you check in. It is easy walking distance to downtown Napa.
