Very helpful and friendly staff. Room small but very nice

We were very satisfied with this hotel. It has a great location mid way between the train station and Piazza Maggiore. The rooms are large and comfortable and the air conditioning is excellent in the public areas. There is a good, varied breakfast every morning and the staff were friendly and helpful. There is no bar but it is possible for guests to use the one in the sister hotel next door. Thoroughly recommended.

Overall good. Ordinary rooms are very small and the bathroom door slides and doesn’t fully seal, which may not be ideal for some people sharing a room. They also no longer give guests tissues, which is a bit odd.

A nice place to stay for a quick visit… quiet. The breakfast was nicely presented and showers were hot. The beds were fairly comfortable and the rooms dark.

Air conditioning in the rooms needs upgrading (very poor quality on full power) Communal areas could do with a revamp (carpets etc look dated and stained in places) Staff fantastic and very pleasant with out 7 months old daughter.

Well I guess you get what you pay for. Where do I start? First, the air conditioner barely worked. We were up half the night because it was so hot. 2nd, the hot water was out the whole 1st day. But I guess we needed an ice cold shower after sweating all night. They said it was repaired on the 2nd day but it went from freezing to just cold. There is also a smoke detector that blinks all night long on the bedroom ceiling, so bring an eye patch. All in all not a great experience.

It was an excellent accommodation for the price you pay. The room was very small, but very clean and bed was comfortable; the location is excellent (near bus stations, main station and maximum 10 minutes walk to the centre of the old town, near shops and restaurants). The service was very good, breakfast was ok. Overall I had a very pleasant stay here.

Everything is great. Clean quiet because if double pan windows. Staff professional. Great breakfast Parking a must if u don’t want u r car to be scratched or keyed like our car got . We left it across the hotel in front of the driving school and found our car key’d .it is not the hotels fault

Very nice but small room which is standard for Europe. Location was walkable to the train station and to city center on the main street. Friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again.

The friendly staff had our room ready early and allowed us to check in hours before scheduled. We expected to leave our bags and wander around the city jet-lagged, but we’re happy to have a shower and rest before roaming around. The room was comfortable, though a little warm and airless. Breakfast was really nice, and check out was easy. Would highly recommend!

I stayed two nights: the heating stopped working in the second night and it was very cold. They don't have extra blankets in the room and the blanket they provide is very light. Their beds are incredibly close to the window, that means that the cold air hits you when you lay down. Plus, It is very noisy from the market. They have very bad internal communications, and they don't seem to update the records of those who prolong their staying (I did not want to check out at 11 after a very late night in the city). They informed me that I would not be double billed as they were making me a favour. What a terrible customer service move!

This is such a nice hotel! It was extremely clean, the room was very nice and modern, and the free breakfast was lovely and exceeded expectations. The staff was also helpful and kind. I highly recommend this place, especially during a pandemic as it was clean and we felt very safe.

This hotel was ideal for my partner and me: reasonably priced; great location (literally down the street from the main square); the room suited us fine; and the breakfast selection catered to my partner being vegan. Very pleased with Zanhotel Regina.

Hotel easily found. All staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a good selection and continually monitored to keep plenty to choose from. Coffee best I’ve had in a hotel. The room, albeit small, was quiet. No view. The bathroom was very clean and nice to look at with large shower area. I struggle with fixed shower heads however when washing long thick curly hair. The shower area would benefit from shelves to put soap on etc (can’t use hotel soap) and other items but this is ok for a few days there as we placed the seat just outside the shower to put out items on.

The rooms are nice; modern and compact but functional. Location is great, within walking distance to train station and centre of town. I would have given this stay a fantastic review if it wasn't for the fact that they started loudly moving furniture and vacuuming before 8am and then got mad when I complained. But hopefully that is not the norm, and so I would still recommend staying here.

I stayed at this hotel in October 2019. We had a corner room. At the time, there was a large and very noisy flea market outside. Thank goodness for ear plugs or we would not have gotten any sleep. Everything else about this hotel was fine but I cannot recommend it because of the flea market. I would not stay there again.

Bed was comfy. Bathroom was nice. Good breakfast buffet. Decent location. Really nice hotel.

Excellent and economical hotel in the center of Bologna! Comfortable, stylish, well-decorated room. Excellent Breakfast! Excellent Service! My wife had left a cosmetic bag in the room when we checked out. I called and asked them to hold it for us for 2 weeks when we could drive back through Bologna to pick it up. Upon arrival, over 2 weeks later, they had the bag and everything was as she had left it. Thank you very much!

We only stayed in Bologna for one night, but this was a great place to stay. The room (as per usual in Europe) was a little small - you wouldn't want a week in a room this size. But the location was great, the bathroom amenities were nice, and the complimentary breakfast was excellent.

The hotel is very well located - about half way between the main sights and the railway station, making it easy to reach from the airport with the airport bus (Aerobus). The weekly market is right next to the hotel, and there are restaurants, cafes and shops as well. The staff at the reception were always very helpful, and served the guests with a smile on their face. The room was small (ok, tiny, to be honest). There was a twin bed and the bathroom, and that's it, nothing extra. But everything was recently renewed (the tiles in the bathroom were awesome), very neat and tidy, and absolutely spotless clean. It very well could've been the cleanest room I've ever stayed in, even the bathroom sink - you literally could've eaten off it. The room was also quiet. The breakfast is a standard hotel breakfast. Small variety of things, and you could find everything you needed from there. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, and recommend it to anyone visiting Bologna.
