Location - 2 minute walk into town, cleanliness, good breakfast, fair price, free parking 3 minutes walk away

Cute little place with lovely breakfast but very tiny rooms. No lift so even room on first floor required hauling suitcases up a long staircase. Very close to old town.

Near to old town so walkable from hotel. Parking a real issue. Only a very small garage which needed to be prebooked so street parking only.

The Gradlon was clean, convenient and comfortable. Check-in and checkout were efficient.

We were first given a room that had smell of someone having smoked in the room. The front desk quickly let us have another room which was on the second floor facing a busy street. However the room was very quiet and we did not hear noise from the outside. The hotel is close to the old town and everything is within walking distance. Overall good experience at this hotel.

Good hotel located near centre of Quimper. Has its own carpark (payable) but free carpark 5 mins walk away. Clean throughout with comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast available.

No ventilation in very small room- sooo hot, not even a fan available for guests. This hotel should invest in air conditioning. Front desk staff not particularly accommodating. Not a welcoming reception.

Staff very welcoming and helpful. We had 3 of the Superior rooms which were were even better than expected, all with views overlooking the lovely central courtyard. Rooms were very clean, the hotel very quiet and the beds were very comfortable. All 5 of us staying are all agreed that Hotel Gradlon is a the perfect place to stay when visiting Quimper. Breakfast was everything you would expect from a continental too.

It was very good and we might go again if we'll travel to this part of the world

The desk clerk was just short of surly and singularly unhelpful. He passed me going down the steps and did not offer to help with my luggage. His colleague was much more friendly and helpful. Access by car is impossible and we had to find a spot on the street a couple blocks away just to check in. We were given directions to a public car park in the other direction which we used to the duration of our stay.

The posting stated that there was paid parking, but we could not find the lot anywhere near the hotel. We parked on the street in a rougher looking neighborhood a few blocks from the hotel. When asked about their parking lot, the person at reception told us that their lot was full, even though the hotel does not appear to be busy. Again, we did not see any area anywhere near the hotel that looked like a private parking lot. If you have a car, stay here at your own risk as parking is not easy to find, and not necessarily in the best neighborhood.

Clean and spacious room!

A short (easy walking) distance from centre of things. Quieter too. Boulangerie and epicerie just round the corner. Free parking in Quimper is competitive, staff helpful in explaining how to find it. Cute English bulldog called Lord.

A very well situated hotel for sightseeing in Quimper. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We booked a garage for our car, it cost an extra 10 euro but because we were in a very built up central location we were afraid of theft so the security of a lock up garage was paramount. The room was small but clean and well decorated. The bathroom was the let down. Water easily splashed out of the walk in shower and worse, the drain blocked up. I look down to see the water coursing out of the walk in end and had to cut my shower short and down to a drip. My husband mopped up the floor with towels. Not a good experience. I would recommend this hotel after the bathroom issues are addressed.

I stayed at six different hotels on my 2 week trip to France and this was the best one. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This establishment had all the characteristics of a well run business: sincere staff that went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, clean and comfortable rooms, and excellent breakfasts. Loved the Breton-influenced decorum of the room. Great value too. Would definitely stay here again.

Warm, charming, friendly, simply a beautiful atmosphere!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quiet, centrally located hotel in Quimper. The hotel is not impressive from the street but on entering we were greeted warmly and enjoyed great service in understated comfort and a very pleasant breakfast. Would love to return, both to the hotel and to Quimper.

This hotel is so close to everything you want to see in Quimper. The staff were very accommodating.

The only problem with this hotel was that our room faced the busy street at the front. The triple glazing was superb and we heard no noise but had to sleep with the windows closed. This is not a problem with most rooms which face an inner courtyard. This is a delightful hotel and I strongly recommend it.

Hotel Gradlon is on a main street just a few minutes on foot from the center of the city (shopping, tourist area, parks, cathedral, etc.) and the lovely river that flows through the centre of town. Many small foot bridges over the river all hung with flower baskets. Hotel has a lovely courtyard filled with flowers. Unfortunately it's too small for sitting. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room is typically french , i.e. small, and typically French too is the lack of shower curtain or door on the tub. No matter how careful you are the floor is going to be a lake. Only problem is parking. Hotel has limited parking (reserve ahead of your arrival) and on street parking is difficult in the summer. We were lucky. One night we found a spot right across the road from the hotel, and the second night about 5 min. walk away. Pay street parking in general, but note that the first hour is relatively cheap, but the longer you want to park the more expensive each minute becomes. City obviously wants to discourage long-term street parking. Overall, though very happy with the hotel and Quimper
