Very affordable price for staying over night for an early class the next day. No one was at the desk when I got there or checked out. Had to wait several minutes for person to arrive.

Pictures are not what they seem. Rooms are not updated and have a smell. Beds are hard, pillows are old, and the metal bed frames are falling apart. Air conditioning worked marginally at best. Decided to use the steps after one trip on the elevator. To top off a terrible stay got charged an extra $50 for 3 stained towels. On a positive note we didn’t get bed bugs so that’s one win.

We lost our deposit because one of their luggage buggies bumped the wall by mistake and the plaster/dry wall fell off. It was probably a cheap job done by the person who plastered before.

This is an older hotel so a little dated but clean. I wish the pool was heated and there is no where to sit and you have to ask for towels. I wished there were more breakfast options there was waffles, yougart, muffins, granola bars and cereal. No proteins meats, boiled eggs, eggs. This is not in a central location in Topeka so a bit out of the way.

The room was fine, clean with a comfortable bed. My one annoyance was that the bathroom only had one stitch. The switch controlled both the light and the fan, and the the fan was extremely loud.

Check-in was super fast. I was in my room within 10 minutes. I had driven 12 hours, and was super tired. It was so hot out all day, and the room was super cooled down already. Bed was comfortable.
The only hot breakfast was waffles, which will be good for most. I'm trying to watch my sugar intake, so I passed, and picked up breakfast out for the next day's drive.

We had planned a one night stop at this hotel as a halfway point on our way to somewhere else. We had an emergency and needed to stay an extra night and have a later check out. The staff were incredibly helpful, understanding, and accommodating. We are very thankful to have had a positive experience at this hotel following a very stressful event.

I didn't like that on Expedia it said $50 deposit but that's only if you have a card to put it on if you are paying the deposit with cash then it's $150. I wasn't traveling with a card this time just cash this time. So Expedia need to put on there if cash deposit it's $150. Oh and I got a $10 charge for a towel cause my daughter had dyed her hair red a couple months back and it still bleeds. It happens at home and washes out when she shampoos.

The room was good as was service. My only complaint would be breakfast, specifically the waffles. It's clear they are trying to save money, at the expense of the customers, the waffle batter is being watered down, tacky. They don't have the batter in the dispenser, they keep cups of it in the fridge. They also don't have oil to spray on the waffle iron, so the waffles stick. There also are no cups for the juice, so you have to use the coffee cups, no biggie I guess, just more cheap evidence of saving money.

Pretty pleased with this one. Attended a track meet in Lawrence and many hotels were already book in the area. Saw a review that said nothing was around this...indeed! Just enough around. I was told by very friendly clerk it was prob 10-15 minutes until I really got into the heart of some fast-food joints.
It's a bit out there in Topeka but easy enough access. Not a ton of traffic on the road outside made it quieter. There are some eating options around and I enjoyed the Mexican joint a couple minutes down the road. Also some BBQ and uh, a nudie joint.
Only saw one staffer but she was good. Room was above-average clean. Shower had decent pressure and hot water. Very easy to park. Good wi-fi...unless you're the TV, which was in-and-out. Never felt unsafe. Pretty pleased with facility.
