Lovely hotel will definitely return, the staff can’t do enough for you and very attentive. We had dinner Fish and chips, not pricey and it filled the plate. Breakfast was also very nicely presented, and lots to choose from. A lovely stay

Very centrally located. We were going to the lighthouse theatre which was literally just around the corner. Good beds, good bathroom, heating was good, staff attentive and friendly, great breakfast.

This is a great budget hotel. It's located near local amenities and is perfectly comfortable. The staff were professional and the bed was comfortable but firm. The only downside was the toilet flush wasn't amazing.

We had a one night stay . Reception staff friendly , room very clean lovely walk in shower with nice branded toiletries ( Dove ) shampoo & body wash , box of tissues, fresh white towels that even fitted my husband, , tea / coffee making facilities , decent hair dryer in front of a full size mirror & a chair to sit on , good size TV , plenty of sockets but no usb port , plenty of cloths hang space with hangers , black out curtains. Breakfast was very good and well cooked , plenty of hot cold choices , you could eat outside in a covered area . We were not rushed . The whole dining area was constantly being cleaned , by lovely polite , helpful smiling staff , also a bar with a Tv lounge area with comfy seats to relax inn . The whole place had a relaxing casual atmosphere with a professional feel . There was plenty of parking , but be advised it costs £8.50 for 24 hours , paid at reception , still very good value , I missed this information when I booked !!!
I would 100% stay again and would recommend for a no fuss relaxing stay .

Stayed at the hotel for 1 night whilst on Poole on business.
The hotel was clean and comfortable and fine for the 1 night I was there. Location wise it was pretty good as walked to the quay for food.
Breakfast was very good, especially as free with the room rate.

We only stayed for one night but found our room to be clean, and larger than we expected. The corridor outside our room was also larger than a lot of hotel corridors which helped to lessen any noise from other guests.
We went to breakfast at 07:30 and there was plenty of available seating, and all breakfast items were available.
The hotel is ideally located for Poole town centre, ten minutes walk, and it's close to the Lighthouse theatre. The main bus station is also very close so you can easily get to Bournemouth if needed.

An average booking in experience was improved by a better than average breakfast for a hotel of its type.
All front desk staff at check everything seemed too much trouble. However the rest of the staff from the breakfast team to the room maid were pleasant cheerful and efficient. Different staff at check out were efficient and cheerful too

I found it a strange place,the bar/lounge/dining area reminded me of a working men’s club I once went in in Hartlepool back in the eighties.
At the Bar they were quite happy to take cash off you but couldn’t give you any change as they didn’t have any.
Would I stay at a Holiday Inn again. Definitely Not.

This was at best a £75 per night hotel. If it was this price, I would say, 3 star and very average, but the fact they charge over double that amount. This vastly underperforms. Issues are-
Clunky slow check in
Beds were very uncomfortable due too- awful lumpy pillow, rough sheets and winter weight duvet.
Air con not working properly and noisy so unable to keep on at night therefore very hot.
Right next to noisy rail line so can’t leave Windows open.
Hairdryer not working
Noisy guests in corridors

Exactly what I would expect from Holiday Inn. Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Property is starting to look a bit tired, loose fittings, water ingress evidence, paint patching etc.
Basics such as stocked bottled water from the vending machines missing (I know this is a VMI issue) during hot weather.
Steam extraction in bathrooms inadequate.
Offering of supply of “forgotten” essentials didn’t exist when asked at reception for a face cloth, bit disappointing as this was explicitly listed within the sticker in the bathroom.
Lovely stay otherwise.

We visited here with our children and were warmly welcomed. The room was very clean and perfect for a family of four. The en-suite was immaculate, lovely touches like dove body wash, shampoo, hand wash etc. we stayed here for 3 nights and every day the staff came in to change and make the beds and ensured we had enough clean towels every day. The breakfast was a great start to the busy fun days we had. We and our children loved it. So happy we stayed here, better than some expensive hotels we’ve stayed at before. Will definitely stay here again. Staff were all so friendly and couldn’t do any more than they did to ensure we had a brilliant stay. Thank you!! 5 stars 10/10 xx

Staff are very friendly and good breakfast. Walking distance to public transport, shopping centre, Poole park and quy. We family of four and we enjoyed the stay.

Clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. We needed an overnight stay while visiting pool and this hotel was a great overnight with a comfortable clean. Stay great buffet breakfast to set us up for the following day. What more can you ask?

We were right next to a train track that ran til 1am and started at 5am we had an awful sleep. For £184 not exceptable. Complaint made.

The hotel is tired and a little grubby. Stains on the wall in our room.and a tv that didn’t work. The staff at check in where ok but weren’t knowledgeable about bar stock local places to eat. The man in the suit on reception in the morning was positively rude. I asked very politely if he could order a taxi for us at which point he suggested that we walk to the taxi rank . When I said I didn’t want to do this he begrudgingly said he would order one which in fairness he did but he was rather rude. It all just felt very tired and like an incredibly cheep hotel that no one cared about.

Had we not been on the floor that was being decorated it would have been better.

I stayed here for two nights and booked this hotel as I thought it would have desks in the room - it did not! The rooms are spacious although the lighting at the bed end of the room is inadequate - they have taken away the lighting which would have been part of the desk and lamp - but not replaced.
The downstairs is large - so we actually ended up working in the dining / bar area which was ok as it is large.
The staff were great and very helpful.
