Very nice hotel with easy access to the best of Aix, as well as the bus station.

The team were very helpful indeed and couldn’t do enough for us. Recommend this hotel if you want something stress free when visiting Aix. We like an apartment usually but this was ideal for our short stay as we were moving on to Avignon the next day

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were modern and clean. The free parking was a great bonus. The location of the hotel was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Everything is walkable, bus stop is literally around the corner, and the staff is incredibly helpful. Rooms are very clean and quiet. Breakfast was great.

Nice hotel. Easy 6 min walk to old town areas with restaurants, etc. Friendly staff. Good car park right next door. Breakfast nice and Euro style although ideally would have liked a couple more hot selections rather than boiled eggs (but these were good, as can boil your own to your taste). Recommended.

Hotel Rotonde was very clean, calm and have kind staff. Especially, information desk staff spoke English very well and breakfast was also perfect.

The location of the hotel was good, Solene the front desk was very sweet and recommend a great restaurant for us to eat, but overall the experience was disappointing. The room was not clean and very uncomfortable. The parking area was flooded. With the exception of Solene, the other staff was not friendly. I do not recommend this hotel.

This very comfortable hotel is right next to the bus station and old town Aix. It's very restful with great staff who speak English.

The location was very difficult to get to because gps didn't work, downtown was one-way, and cars can't enter the adjacent bus station. However, once there the location was great. It was late September so we got lucky with their small, dirt parking lot. Nice hotel, small "Superior" room but it had a balcony. Shower doors are too short so water could easily get on the floor. Nice bedding, temperature (a/c), very nice staff. Just an "ok" breakfast for the price.

I don’t know how this property was called a hotel, it looks and feels like a dorm with basic cheap furniture, like portable bathrooms, and no customer service whatsoever. If you’re lucky to find anyone at the reception, they’re extremely rude, kind of yelling at you, if you ask to open the parking gate. They even managed to hit my car at the front. No apologies. Nope. My suggestion: some training in hotel management, concierge service and plain just being nice would help. Meanwhile, avoid this hotel. Not worth it to ruin all of the good impressions of the French Aix-en-Provence

Good hotel , 10 min walking from Main Street , good breakfast. Only set back is the fact that there is no enough parking spaces for guests , it was hard to get one !

Great location with easy access to shops and restaurants.

The hotel is clean and modern. The room was comfortable and the location is great with a short walk to the downtown area. The hotel apparently does offer parking but space is very limited and we were never able to figure out how to get in. We ended up parking in the local shopping center multi-story parking and walking back to the hotel. When we asked at the front desk we were told that was probably the best thing to do since their parking was full. Overall though, a great experience and great location.

The location is very good, much closer to the old city centre than the impression I had from the map. The staff were kind. The room was very spacious and had a patio. The hotel has a pretty spacious car park, but I had to park my car in the Rotonde public parking lot, because there was no space available in the hotel car park, and had to spend an extra 16 euros (because I left my car there until 10am in the morning next day).

A well located hotel with decent rooms and beds. A shopping bag with irreplaceable souvenirs was picked up out of our room and thrown away. Even though we notified the front desk they didnt seem too concerned that the trash truck pick up the next morning would include our bag. They did comp us breakfast but that wasnt the point. Room maid service was spotty with used coffee cups not replaced nor instant coffee replenished.

this was our 20th anniversary and we wanted to stay in town. The hotel was under street construction and we did not know about it. We were in the front part because we wanted to see the street however it brought the dust after a days work. the alley to enter the hotel was uneven and was unsafe and damaging to the rental car. The staff were all friendly and helpful esp Bagdad. The location excellent. The rooms were comfortable and amenities in bathroom very bare. Very good location.

Room was smaller than expected. Aircon poor either too hot or too cold and operation unfathomable

The decor and equipment was in general well-maintained, clean and modern. Staff were friendly and helpful. Free off-street parking is a major asset, especially in Aix. Our big issue was the air-conditioning (A/C), which was ineffective. We chose the hotel over others, including AirBnB, because it advertised A/C. However, the temperature control was kept in the reception and even though they said it was 23 (too hot), 22 (still too hot), 19 (still too hot!) ...it just didn’t work and we were left sweating on our beds. Not good. I don’t like the lack of trust either. Our room was not cheap and should include the cost of utilities etc.

Stayed here for 3 nights and was lucky to have been upgraded to a nice one-bedroom suite. Clean room, comfortable bed, and very convenient - only a stones throw away from the bus station, 5-minutes walk to the train station and 10-minutes to the main city centre. Would definitely stay here again!

Located very close to the old town Aix-en-Provence. Cours mirabeau is just a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Basic room and amenities - the beds were clean and the room rates very reasonable for peak tourist season.

Location is great, walking distance to the tourism office and the city centre. Staff are great and very helpful. Hotel looks outdated but still clean enough. We were given a room that is wheelchair friendly which is probably bigger than the normal rooms. However, this means the shower didn't have a floor barrier and water was flooding everywhere. They do have private and secured parking so that's great.

This is a basic hotel and should be rated as a 2 star. Good for a traveller on a budget. While the location makes it easy to get to the old part of town and the sites, I didn't feel safe walking back at night as the neighbourhood isn't the best. The hotel and the room were clean, but is basic. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and gracious. We only stayed one night so this hotel suited our purposes.

Only stayed one night, but were pleased with the accommodation. La Rotunde is well-situated for exploring Aix on foot and easy to find because it is near the big fountain. Room was dark because of heavy wood shutters, but street noise was not a problem. Kind of had a business hotel feel. Otherwise clean and comfortable; a good value. Secure off-street parking was a bonus.
