My fourth stay in this beautiful hotel and certainly not my last.

Sadly this hotel and experience was nothing short of terrible. After checking in we didn’t get any information about facilities and was just told breakfast was at X time. The room was perfectly suitable - it wasn’t clear at all how to turn the light in the bathroom off so we slept with it on, the mirror was boiling hot so as a result the room was so humid and uncomfortable- we called in the morning to report it and then a knock at the door from a German maintenance man who was on the phone the whole time and no English spoken while I was trying to work not very friendly. I then spoke to the manager who seemed to not care and just offered a card for “next stay” for an upgrade. When checking out we got charged £70 for breakfast which we were told was included and the breakfast was not even worth £10 in my opinion. Coffee sour and food wasn’t quality. We actually checked into the titanic hotel next door. Half the price and double the quality. Such a shame for the most expensive hotel in Berlin.

Great stay

Centrally located, at walking distance to the museums' island and Brandenburg Gate. Tastefully interior decoration throughout – the large welcoming hall, the restaurant, hallways, and rooms. Our Deluxe Room was large, with a perfect bed, bathroom, and efficient, noiseless air conditioning. Very professional and helpful staff – thanks for the welcome and the credit. We had dinner at their restaurant – we enjoyed the well-prepared food, the wine, the service, and the whole atmosphere. I hope will come back again someday.

This is an excellent property to stay at. Top notch spa with attentive, caring technicians. Room was designed beautifully with great bathtub and nice linens. The front desk service is impeccable and the breakfast was very good. Nice lighting - Our bed was a tad bit firm for our taste, but overall everything was in great condition.

Another superb stay at De Rome. The staff makes you feel welcomed and “at home” from check in to check out. I like that the interior and rooms are kept in the same design as my first stay in 2010. Without being worn down or outdated. The interior feel is timeless luxury. The beds are a little hard for my back as is. But they always provide me with an extra mattress top for my convenience and comfort upon request. Location is unbeatable and property is beautiful. I have only one complaint: they have taken the club sandwich off the room service menu. I assume this is just a glitch and that it will be present for my next stay.

If you aren’t dressed “right” each staff member will ask you where you’re going and how they can help you leave the hotel. Never before have I been asked do many times why I’m at the hotel when I’m just trying to get to my room. I like to wear sandals and shorts since it’s summer. I’ve never felt so unwelcome before…or been apologized to so many times before because staff didn’t recognize I was a guest.

Very luxurious hotel, nice room and amenities, very kind people, good location. I’ve really enjoyed the stay.

Beautiful location, stunning views from the rooftop bar. Pricey but lovely.

Outstanding!

Good but a little soulless . Two restaurants , but room service has erratic pricing - 12 euro for black tea is outrageous when a capuccino is only 7 . Should have told us the pool is closed as it was a reason for our choice

Well! fropm start to finish, we got a feeling that the people working at Rocco Forte really loved their job. The went further than any expectation. Comfort, service, Spa, Food, rooms, everything makes us want to come back.

An incredible stay from beginning to end. Wonderful service. Beautiful room. Great sauna area.

I found it puzzling that the main door is closed at night and you need to ring a bell to go in. It felt a bit B&B but otherwise great. We will definitely come back.

Unfortunately several amenities were closed (pool and rooftop terrace/restaurant) but the place is gorgeous and beautiful rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Best hotel in Berlin. Period.

We loved Rocco Forte Hotel De Rome Berlin. The hotel is amazing all around, great location, amazing staff, Great roof top restaurant, close to all the museums and restaurants and few minutes away from Subway. We loved the hotel so much that we extended our stay for another 4 days. I definitely recommend this hotel!!

Beautiful hotel, with a beautiful lobby bar and terrasse with view to the Bebelplatz, but I have to say that the rooms are pretty average, nice bathroom , but the rest, nothing really special, a bed announced as “king” was barely a “queen” With a curvy on the edges mattress which makes the sleeping/resting area even smaller, my girlfriend and me agreed that bed was too small. Definitely not worth twice as much than other fine hotels in Berlin.

Location fantastic, room superb, restaurant and food stunning at breakfast and in the evening. The newly refurnished spa and pool are excellent. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else!

Amazing stay in a beautiful hotel

Beautiful building; pleasant service; good, spacious rooms. I enjoyed the location. Breakfast was very tasty; just a little slow (service at breakfast was slow for the made-to-order stuff like eggs or coffee/tea drinks)

Great location, beautiful hotel, large comfortable room, delicious food and drinks, and incredible service. Will definitely stay there the next time I visit Berlin.

Felt like a superstar in this hotel. Rooms gorgeous, lobby gorgeous, but the service, personalities, and helpfulness of their entire staff ( *with the exception of one... you know who you are/ in the restaurant) was bar none. They made Hotel de Rome extra special! We will now look for any Rocco forte properties at any future European travels. ( *note: we did report said problematic staff member accordingly)

Excellent hotel.

Facilities (pool/sauna) unavailable. No water / kettle in the rooms though this is advertised as a five star hotel. WiFi charge £20 a day. Terrible service.

We chose this hotel because of the swimming pool, but when we arrived were told that it was having its annual maintenance during our entire stay. We were told that we could use another swimming pool a couple of streets away but that's not the same,

Absolutely incredible staff. Stephen in reception, Jacqueline during breakfast and Joshua on the roof top bar were three particularly outstanding members of the hotel team. Kept getting overlooked eggs though during breakfast, which put us off having dinner in La Banca. Staff were happy to replace though immediately. Due to celebrating an occasion, we did have champagne on the roof terrace, which was lovely but we weren’t happy that the only options of champagne were Perrier-Jouet. Would have preferred Tattinger, Veuve Cliquot or Bollinger. More variety would have been better and not impressive as a 5 star hotel, that these were the only options. Otherwise, fantastic (!)
