The helpfulness of staff. One lady at front desk got me a train ticket on line, which I did not know how to do on my own.

A hotel with easy parking, friendly staff and clean, bright rooms with a great view of the lagoon. And the roof terrace makes up for any room that doesn’t have the lagoon view.

Well the beds were extremely hard. The A/C was not adequate and could not be controlled in room. There was no pool as advertised. The morning breakfast was gid and the ladies who manned the coffee were great.

Check-in was quick and efficient. Staff was courteous and friendly. Room was large and modern - better than expected, though some parts of the hallway/other parts of the hotel appeared to be old or not yet renovated. You could clearly tell that they had put an effort into modernizing a fairly old hotel. Breakfast: very basic and below average based on my travels across Italy. Low quality meats, basic cheeses, pastries, yogurt, eggs, pizza, bread, cereal and not much else. Not much variety and hardly any fresh fruits. Coffee was a nice surprise - real espresso made to order instead of instant coffee. Amenities: all the standard stuff like A/C, a mini-fridge, breakfast, a limited shuttle to one beach and a balcony, not many other amenities. Location: very well located, close walking distance to many restaurants, bus stop and COOP grocery store. A good distance away from the beaches (need a car or take a bus) and far from Porto Ercole and San Stefano. Overall, hotel was good for the rate paid and it's 3 star rating.

We had A really nice time and it was close to places to visit.

It was clean and breakfast was good. However, our room was really outdated, the mattresses were both hard as rocks and the decor look like a road motel from a horror movie. The pictures they post online must be from updated rooms. They looked nothing like the reality of the place. Thanks Hod it was only one night!

Hard beds and a little old

20 min drive to porto stefano, free parking on street, rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast was ok, close to markets and bank and fruit stores. a perfect place to stay when traveling.

Nice location, easy to find, free parking, excellent breakfast, Wi-Fi all over the property, beautiful roof-top terrace where to sun-bathe or watch the sun raising or going down! Easy reach of the main town and all it's facilities - nearby also bus stop, bars, supermarkets, pharmacies and eateries. Great base from where to explore the beautiful vicinities

Quite close to the city historical center (~5 minutes). The location of the hotel itself doesn't look very pleasing, but it's alright. It's much cheaper than in the center after all. Famous Feniglia beach is not very far away, however I don't think very much people go there without car - it would be 30-40 minutes one way trip. You can rent a 50cc scooter (it's 300 meters from the hotel, on the Vis Caravaggio and Via Antonio Mussi crossing) for 35 euro/day and leave it in the parking in the Feniglia.

Stayed here overnight in transit between destinations, mainly because I wanted to see what Orbetello was like. The hotel is easy to find as it is right on the main street cutting through the peninsula, about a 5min bus ride from the station. The hotel is well maintained, offers plenty of great services, and the price was excellent. My room was more than comfortable, and I had only one complaint (which for me wasn't a huge deal). If I ever make it to Orbetello again, I will definitely stay here.

Ignore the detrimental comments about this still being a 1970's hotel - these are either out of date or plain wrong. The Hotel has clearly been overhauled completely in recent times and everything was spotless and working well - great shower, aircon working quietly etc. Generous room sizes. All staff were extremely helpful. Excellent buffet breakfasts with a 'barisista' on hand to make fresh coffees. Free wi-fi, which worked in our room on 1st floor, not just the lobby. Hotel is 5mins walk from the old town, whose main streets are traffic-free and a great stroll. Hotel has its own bikes for hire.

A very comfortable short stay. There is a lovely roof garden. Obertello as a town was a little disappointing, however we had a super meal there at Osteria del Lupacante on Corso Italia. The town is a more workaday place than a resort. Great for seeing real Italian life rather than all the posing that is tourist Italy.

Basic, but value for money as prices are low. Little kitchen in the room. Did not use the terrace on top of the house as the weather was too cold. Sunny place anyway. Orbetello village is nice for one evening.

Nice enough hotel in Orbetello. A bit noisy as on the main street through the town, but convenient for catching the bus from the Station or to San Stefano. Excellent breakfast. Helpful staff.

Being quoted as a seventies styled hotel I had a degree of reservation but was pleasantly surprised. The location was on the main road at the extremity of the new town, next to the park opening onto the old town ( map reference needs changing ). The room was suitably large with a small kitchen area and very large balcony. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a good selection.

Large room complete with mini kitchen area, easy parking on street outside, (September visit). And reasonable location. Did not need car to walk into town in evening for meals and bars. Roof top was nice but hot tub had clearly not been used for a while. Breakfast OK but typically Italian. Probably not the best place if you want to stay in the hotel for a few days but excellent and reasonable choice as a base for getting out and about and visiting the area
