On the second night of a trip to New Haven, we made reservations here because we were flying out of Bradley International the next morning early. We had stayed in a downtown upscale and pricey hotel the night before and were disappointed. This hotel was all the other was not at 1/2 the cost. Spacious rooms, clean, well appointed with coffee maker, not nespresso machine. The bathroom was larger and more up to date. My wife and i both commented on the relative difference, in favor of this Holiday Inn Express.

We stayed two separate nights since it was so close to the airport. Had no complaints. Would definitely stay here again.

Frayed, dirty carpets. Otherwise, comfortable beds, quiet rooms, good free breakfast. Staff upon arrival not friendly, barely acknowledged us. Hotel was convenient to what we wanted to do.

Walked into the room and it smelled like smoke. Didn't complain because it was only a one night stay and it was already 9 pm. Started organizing my things for the next morning before turning down the sheets. That's when I saw the sheets were dirty and had a stain on them. Went down to the front desk because that is totally unacceptable. The guy at the desk was extremely rude and tried to blame me because I turned the sheets down a half hour after I got into the room. Never even apologized and I had to ask for a new room. The guy in the morning at checkout was not pleasant either. Overall the hotel has a rundown feel. Would not recommend at all.

The room had noticable odor yet arriving at 11 pm too tired to worry about it. Bed was too soft for our liking. Outstanding breakfast however. Over priced what you get.

Allot of noise at that night and some was threatening the employees not sure what happened but I stayed in my room and we couldn’t sleep

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, Bradley airport for two nights. Our flight to Hartford was delayed and arrived at 1:30am. The Holiday had a shuttle sent over within 5 minutes of my call to the front desk and had us checked in very quickly. It was great to be able to rest after such a long day traveling!

Check-in was a breeze. Customer service excelllent. Room was clean and updated. Staff empathetic to our emergency situation. I would recommend and stay again.

First room smelled of smoke. Moved to another and it was not much better. They do not have their own hotel shuttle - you take a parking shuttle there are no obvious options to walk to dinner - do Uber Eats worked. Not bad. Just average.

The rate at check out was $40 higher than the amount I made the room reservation for. Double check your email confirmations for this place when you book! Very sneaky things going on money wise…
Also, the room was dirty! The bathroom grossed me out. Our sink drain was stuck closed so our water wouldn’t drain, the shower and toilet were visibly dirty, and the room had a smell of old vacuum.

They have full-sized hair and body soap. They are pretty clean for a chain hotel and management was nice. You can hear everything in the hallway, literally everything. So, walls are super thin, if you’re a light sleeper it’s not the best when you have a 3am wake up planned. Then again, I imagine most hotels you hear a lot. But I heard running, kids, and cabinets being slammed. Other than noise, the staff were nice, check in and out were easy peasy, rooms were 8/10 for cleanliness rating, breakfast had decent options, and parking was free. I’d stay here again.

Horrible smell (mildew/dirty feet) on the 2nd floor and room. It overwhelms you once you get off the elevator and even worse in your enclosed room. They had heavy duty fans out so maybe a water leak? Only a 6 hour stay and I was happy to leave. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was good. Staff was not friendly.

I didn't like the fact that there is an exhaust fan in the bathroom that is non functioning and lots of mold in the bathroom. The mirror in the bathroom had damage in upper4 right hand corner and the armoire also had visible damage to the right upper door. This room should not be called a suite.

Clean and convenient. Definitely a good place next to the airport with a decent breakfast option.

Hotel was clean, modern, and comfortable. Lots of space in our room, too, and lots of lighting options (unlike many hotels!). Breakfast was delicious and had lots of options. All staff were courteous and helpful.
