Very nice stay. A little far from the golden zone but in a more quiet and nice area. Rooms are a little dated but good cleanliness and condition. I would recommend

So far such a nice place. Staff was amazing.. Polite.. Understanding and professional. They switched an upstairs room to a downstairs pretty fast since i can't use the stairs. The ocean view and pool are beautiful. The rooms are equipped with all things you need. I just wish there were elevators other than that all has been great!

Me and my friends loved our stay here, we were at the pool and the beach everyday, and it was only a twenty minute easy walk to downtown where there’s tons of restaurants and the market. The only problems with our room were that one of our air conditioners didn’t work and one leaked, it didn’t come with free clean water so you had to buy jugs from the front desk for clean water, and our room’s wifi stopped working on the third day of our trip and never got fixed. Eventually we learned we could use the other room’s wifi, but still, it would’ve been nice to have had our own. The bar/restaurant only taking credit card was also not great because we would’ve been charged conversion rates so we never ended up getting to try it.

Great place!

Property is clean, has nice view, service is excellent, offers good food & drinks. Road conditions around there are in an very bad conditions, making the hotel inaccessible.

Beautiful room and property, right on the beach, but the road to access it is in rough condition. A minor inconvenience, but be aware. Having to run the shower 20 minutes for hot water to appear was my only real complaint. Staff was great, wish we'd been able to stay more than one night. I'd stay there again.

No elevator shuts down at 7pm

I love the big rooms and balconies facing the sea. The poolis great, nice and warm.

Front desk service was very friendly & helpful. Very accommodating and a reasonably priced late checkout. The family suite was spacious but old and tired. Cracked/missing tiles & baseboards, bathrooms that smelt like sewer gases in the morning, older slated windows etc. Other suites looked more modern than the one we stayed in. It was fine for one night but would have been disappointed if we had booked a family holiday for a week.

not what the website claims about this place. Looks great online, but in person, this place is rundown, old, rocky beach , can’t swim .

At least 50 times, a bulldozer was back and forth on the beach in front of our hotel, doing something with the hotel to our right, if you're looking at the ocean, and taking it to the area on our left if you're looking at the ocean. BEACH DID NOT LOOK AT ALL LIKE FEATURED ON LINE.

Nice property

The roads around it were not good, lots of construction going on…the staff were great. Room was not great, would have liked a kitchen.

My travel companion and I had a very nice two bedroom suite right on the ocean, each room had a view, reasonably priced. The pool area is quite nice with lots of sun. Liked that there was a bar and restaurant on the property with great food, nice prices. The beach is rocky but has a nice sand area by the palapas. I would go there again.

Located next to a noisy highway and also loud construction noise next door. Outward appearance was good. Rooms were clean. Parking easy. Snack bar and poolside bar were good. Pool and views were good, except the pool was not lit two of the nights we were there. Ocean swimming not too appealing with rocky shore. Not crowded at all, especially compared to other beach areas. Our room had issues. Was not able to get even one hot shower in five days - luke warm at best. Reported it daily. Sometimes there was hot water in the kitchen sink. Really bad smell in one bathroom - gaggingly bad - left it unusable. Reported it daily. Location is along a sideroad between highway and beach. the sideroad was in very bad shape with contruction equipment making it worse. Hazardous driving. A good restaurant and a bar within walking distance, but otherwise you have to head to Bucerias or farther for any shopping or dining options. If not for the lack of hot water, noise, and bad smell, would have been 4 stars.

The property is under construction. We couldnt even find the reception desk. There are 3 or 4 new buildings with more modern rooms but our room was in an older building so was quite ‘rustic’. We did have a huge suite though - two bedrooms, 2 full baths and a powder room, on the ground floor close to everything. The restaurant/bar was pretty good (fries, cheeseburger and club sandwiches were great) but the staff seemed like they wanted to be somewhere else. Initial acknowledgment after sitting down at a table was very slow. Unfortunately, the beach was not good after the hurricane in November. Very rocky and difficult to get to the water or even to walk down the beach. IMO the hotel should at least clear a path to the water. For our first visit to Bucerias, we probably should have chosen a hotel closer to town. This one is about a 2 km walk to the majority of restaurants etc. however Sukha’s Beach House about a block away was fantastic. I think after the renovation is finished, this would be a great hotel. We heard there are many guests who come back annually and we would stay here again.

We enjoyed, the peacefull beauty of the bay, and the hospitable, staff.

The town is great, a bit sleepy and the restaurants are great. Our hotel the staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is dated but the breakfast is good. Construction on both sides of the hotel and at the hotel so be sure to ask for a room away from the noise. Overall not had experience.

Renovations and construction are too loud

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The property itself it’s nice but our room could use some work. The walls had home paint chips falling. It needs tvs on the bedrooms. The glass windows are missing a piece, that made the wind and water go inside. Our room got flooded because of it.

Front desk employees were very welcoming and informative of the surrounding area. The breakfast restaurant’s food was excellent.The rooms were very clean and room service cleaned very well each day at our stay. The staff was helpful and friendly. Great location to access beach, markets, and restaurants around the area.

The road getting to the property off of highway 200 is extremly poor condition due to several active construction sites. The property is currently being updated so some of the rooms are updated and some of the rooms are old (request upated room). There is a new condo complex being buit next door so you can hear the construction and see the crane moving construction material around. The pool needs some work as there are missing tiles so be careful as several people cut there feet and the pool it self needs to be cleaned and debri skimmed and filters updated. We had to move rooms because we requested bottom floor units as we had a person with a wheel chair, this was communicated to the property resevation manager via email and telephone, but did not happen, this caused us to split our family up to accommodate the wheel chair. Overall not the best experience with communication.

great family suites resort. This quaint beach hotel is nestled about 2 miles North of Bucerias Central district. The good: Laerge 3 room suites, quiet, bar and restaurant are open most hours (8am-8pm) and the grounds, pool and many of the rooms have been remolded. All have great views. On the down side, some of the rooms are waiting to be remolded. They are clean, but very dated. I suggest paying the extra 30$ us for the newer rooms.

Suite was ok, what we needed for sleeping. Waited for service at restaurant, finally gave up. Staff friendly, tried to accommodate but amenities not the best.

The suite was exactly like the pictures, nice, clean and with an awesome view of the ocean. Front desk personnel were very courteous and accommodating. The only downside was the road leading to the hotel and the rocky beach. If you’re planning to take a swim, you’ll need water shoes for sure.

The older unrenovated suites were very dark and dingy. Clean however sinks, showers, we’re less than desirable. Pool area was nice (missing a hot tub from my perspective) and beach access was great even though it is not a good swimming beach.

I loved the location, very private beach, and not too many beach vendors. Our room had a great view, but was showing its age. Very friendly staff, room and facility decently clean. Beautiful grounds. Loved running into Iggy the iguana when we too the back way to the front desk.

My family of 6 (3 generations) stayed 9 nights at Vista Vallarta in March 2023. We absolutely loved our stay! We had a renovated family suite with a terrace overlooking the pool - very spacious, clean and comfortable. I should mention that none of our windows were facing the back of the hotel as some reviews have complained about the traffic noise from that direction. The swimming pool was amazing and many times we had it to ourselves. The beach was beautiful and a leisurely stroll of 20 – 30 minutes took you to the centre of town. The hotel restaurant food was incredible and reasonably priced - no complaints only praise from everyone in my family. I was so happy that my family enjoyed the restaurant food so much as finding an alternative on a nightly basis might have been difficult. I did not notice a lot of restaurants close by and moving around as a group of 6 was difficult by taxi. Incredible staff: wonderful young man (with glasses) who checked us in upon arriving couldn’t have been more helpful, lovely Flor who welcomed us every day at the front desk with a smile and lots of helpful information, Carlos who handled the bar and made the incredible smoothies the grandchildren loved! – excellent English and a great attitude. The other waiter who handled the breakfast restaurant was equally helpful and gracious. I don’t understand the negative reviews? Website photos of the hotel look like what we experienced! Thank you all for giving us a very memorable family vacation!
