The property was close to beach

The Person who checked me in was extremely polite. His name is Shane. I felt very welcome and he was very friendly and explained me the facility. This was one of the best check ins ever.

Wow, never had the police called for a late checkout before. Emotionally unstable staff, unsafe conditions, and the whole place smells like a hookah lounge at a curry shop. Missing smoke detectors, just a hole in the ceiling with wires exposed. No pet hotel with dogs everywhere. 3 people walked their dogs into the elevator while I checked in. FREE BREAKFAST isn't worth it. Wet reheated eggs, and staff with prison manners who start a shouting match if you ask where the tongs are. The beach is nice, but this place is not worth it. There are tons of cabins, bnbs and other hotels on the block

The floors were dirty when we arrived and there was hair all over the shower. They use tons of masking air freshener and everything is outdated.

Clean and friendly

The hotel is located a few hundred feet from the beach. Front desk lady was very helpful assisted us with any request that we had. Hotel was not very busy but I also notice the same for hotels around the strip.

Front desk was so gracious when we showed up very late and needed to move from a one bedroom to a two bedroom. The room was great! thank you all so much

Just easy and accessible

There are a multitude of signs that this establishment is being managed poorly and for its lack of amenities it is highly overpriced. Very loud, even for a hotel. I would not recommend this place.

Staff was dedicated to making sure guest were taken care of.

To start of as soon as you get to the 3rd floor it's smells musty. The breakfast was sub par and to top it off my wife forgot her wallet with her drivers license , credit cards and other personal information in the room .when we checked all our belongings and noticed it was missing she called the hotel to ask if they had it and they said it was not their . When that was the last place it was . They said they cleaned the room and did not find it . We know for sure that the wallet was in the room and cleaning people probably kept it. Terrible service .

Good location for the area and the suite was very spacous but the carpet was very very dirty you could not walk on it bare footed. Windows were rusted shut. The reception staff were not very helpful. Parking was easy and the hotel is a short walk to the sea.

Our stay at the Hawthorn was nice with no complaints. The hotel is dated but was clean and comfortable. Parking appeared to be limited in spaces in the actual lot next to the hotel but was convenient to the beach. If the hotel was completely booked I imagine some guests would have to park on the street. Although our stay was short (2 days), the fact that rooms include a kitchenette with full refrigerator, microwave and stove top was a great amenity for longer stays. Our check-in was easy, not very friendly lobby greater but also not rude. In general we had a nice stay and would definitely stay again

Property was quite small. Very limited parking left us parking out on the street. Hotel overall is severely outdated and could use a little love. Dining experience in the hotel was great, however the space is very limited.

The hotel needs updating (we had a vcr/dvd combination under the tv), there was some mold in the caulking around the bathtub, and some of the carpet was fraying. We were on the 4th floor and suddenly felt a weird vibration on the table and floor around 10:30 pm one night. We called the front desk and she explained that it was the laundry machines and she would turn them off, which she promptly did and the vibrations stopped. The breakfast was exactly the same every day during the stay – sausage links, premade egg patties, breads, waffles, yogurt, and cereals; however, neither of the two juice machines were in working order during the stay. We had an issue with the toilet and asked the person at the front desk to look at it. The response was, “We don’t have any housekeeping, can you take care of it?” The only elevator in the hotel was not working on the last day of our stay. We called the front desk and stated that we needed some help bringing the luggage down to check out. They were prompt to have someone come to help with the luggage. We booked this hotel because it was close to the beach but there were many other options that would have made our stay more pleasant.

We had to leave early because of the tropical storms.

I liked the cleanliness of room, the staff were helpful, breakfast was good, parking was not to good, but we managed, wish it had a pool, but overall experience was great

Had a nice little bar at the end but the room was not well cleaned..definitely loved the separation of the two beds.parking was super packed and had to pay 20$ for parking

We checked into this property to find that the room with a queen is not a queen but only a double. The room smelled and the lobby felt like it had no air conditioning. We checked out after 1 night believing we could get a refund but after many attempts by Expedia we were charged for all nights. I wouldn’t stay even with having paid. Don’t recommend.

Checked into our room, dropped our luggage off and then went out to meet friends. Returned late the night of check-in and notice there was defecation on the toilet lid and underneath the toilet seat. We used the public restroom that evening and notified the desk early the following morning and was told that the cleaning staff does not start until 9:00. We were checking out prior to 9:00 so we never got resolution. Emailed both the property and corporate and got a generic response. Will never go back.

Location can't be beat and cart rental right next door

Great stay, right by the beach. Spacious room for two adults and two kids

At checkin they sent us to a room that had not been cleaned and after returning to front desk it happened again! I told them they were going to check the next one which they did. They blamed it one the maid staff but that is just passing the buck. Also they did not have shampoo for the first 48 hrs of our stay. Front desk staff seemed bothered by me requesting it and blamed management. I know it is not their fault but this hotel needs better management. Once we got our room it was fine- a bit dated but everything worked. I was never able to get internet to work as it was extremely slow. The location was great and would consider staying again for that reason.

Great for the price. Clean and the A/C was nice and cold. The bed was very comfortable!! Shirt walk to the beach. Had a great time.

there no clean room every day , room smell bad maybe carpet dirty, mattress sheets still wet ,curtains can not cover lights at night.

We stay here Every 6 months, 5-7 days at a time. Great staff, location to the beaches. They did appear a little short staffed on this visit. We will be back

Nice to be so near the water. Staff is very nice and helpful.

Great service and good room type. We fit our kids and had our own space. I do recommend they buy a 2nd waffle iron though! The breakfast was good.
