This property needs to be refreshed or demolished. The rooms, hallways, common areas are outdated. The elevator reeks of hydraulic fluid. So bad we slept with our clothes off and skipped showers

Elevator wasnt working. But the staff who checked us in was great!

It was a comfortable stay with our family. Big swimming pool for the children. Comfortable beds.

Internet was out during 24 hours. It was a major hassle.

Only thing I would change is the check in and check out times

The property is very split with 3 separate buildings. We stayed in an end unit on the second floor. The main pool and hot tub were about 0.3 miles from our unit. The elevator was so slow and did not respond well, like going to random floors. The were lots of pill bugs and other bugs in our unit. We killed about 15 bugs a day. The floors were so dirty that we had to wear shoes. The staff does not clean or check your room for dirty towels. We had to call to get more towels which were then dropped off in a bag. There is a train track across the street which come through about every 30 minutes. Overall we would not return to this property.

The rooms are fantastic!

The room for the most part was good. It was spacious and clean. But one of the rooms (in our 2 bedroom room) only had blinds, no curtains. That meant that it was very bright at 6 am and made it hard to go back to sleep. The other big problem was that the elevator in our building was out of service. We had to either walk up 4 floors by stairs (not fun with luggage) OR cross over into the next parking lot over just to use the elevator to go up. Not ideal shave your car is parked in a completely different garage than the garage with a working elevator. I would’ve wished some kind of compensation was given. Like money either discounted from your stay or put towards your next stay at that location. For the price paid for the room, I would’ve expected better. My brother stayed the month prior and said the elevator wasn’t working at that time either. So, at least a month with no working elevator in one building? That doesn’t do any favors for your guests. The staff was friendly, always saying hi. But man, that elevator situation needs to be addressed really bad.

A delightful place to stay with fun activities onsite. Great for families.

Everything was ok. Staff service is thr best. Only elevator is not working. We have to carry our luggages from the parking lot. Otherwise it’s a long walk from the other building if we want to use the elevator. Otherwise everything is ok.

The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. I was traveling alone, and I felt safe the entire time.

Everything was excellent juat a little issues with the grill and keys for the door but the Hotel is perfect, pool , Jacuzzi and is just 15 or 20 minutes from Laguna Beach

Walls were not sound proofed - sounds traveled from halls & ceilings. Unit was adequately furnished but nothing special.

This is a Hilton Grand Vacation property. Doheny State Beach is walkable and just across the PCH. You will need to go to the pedestrian bridge to cross the train tracks. The resort fee provides beach chairs, beach towels, and umbrellas. They also have bikes available as part of the resort fee. The stay was great, and we would happily return.

This was a great space no complaints.

Really enjoyed our stay at Riviera Beach and Shores Resort. It was our 2nd stay. Great location. Great amenities. Very central location. We’ll stay there again.

Great weekend

The Riviera has great views of the water and is a 5 minute walk to the water.

Great weekend getaway! The views from our room were amazing! The pool was nice! The complementary breakfast was good and the free bikes made for a beautiful bike ride along the coast. Very close to downtown Gloucester too.

Overall, great property. Nice staff. Nice size rooms. Unfortunately the air conditioner did not work.

This hotel was really nice. The rooms were super clean. We had a great suite overlooking the ocean with a full kitchen. Was great being so close to everything.

This was a great surprise that tgis was not only a room, but a living room and kitchen

Good for family beach stay. Convenient location to the beach but not close to many restaurants or shops so definitely need a car to get around. Room was a bit loud at night due to being close to connecting doors from building to building. TV cable did not work and found strands of long blond hairs on “clean towels”. We don’t have any blondes in our family :-/

Our car was broken into on the first night we stayed here. The staff showed no empathy and wouldn’t show us the surveillance video. The person at the front desk is cold and robotic. Never staying here again!

A nice apartment style place overlooking the ocean at Doheny State Beach. PCH is between the place and the beach, so it’s a busy road that you have to walk about 5 minutes to get to the beach camping area. Drive a few minutes to the beach just north and enjoy the sand. Can rent surfboards there. Very clean and the staff were both friendly and accommodating. Also nice jacuzzi!

Friendly staff, easy check in, clean room

Great, clean, updated property with full kitchen and separate living space. Service was attentive and the location was ideal.
