Amazing value great location outstanding amenities

The fact that the property I booked was a 3 levels one was not clearly described on my booking. I am 87 years old with mobility issues. Had I known I had to deal with stairs I would have never booked this property. Also they only told us at the time of check in that we’ll have to move to another property the last night reason why we decided to check out early

Lovely & Large Condo Resort overlooking Forest & Lake. Near Grocery & Restaurants, Half-hour to State Parks with Trails/Waterfalls. Hour drive to Asheville,Two Hours to Pigeon Forge. Comfortable days & nights in mid-summer heat/humidity. Attended Welcome with coffee & donuts. Family activities @ resort + Sapphire/Cashiers area. Two decks + Fireplace + Washer/Dryer + Comfy beds in condol

The place was clean but dated. Poor lighting in most rooms, old furniture. When we got there we were told they had a water main break and there wasn’t running water. It was to be fixed before dinner time. We went out for the afternoon, came back around 7 to still no water. No on site manager after 5, answering service knew nothing. They said someone would call to update us, but no one called. Water didn’t come back in until 10pm, and it wasn’t usable the rest of our stay. It remained cloudy white even after running all faucets for 20 minutes. We rented a place with a kitchen specifically so we didn’t have to eat out every meal, but ended up having to do that. No compensation was offered. Had they communicated that there still wasn’t water by the time their office closed we would have tried to find other accommodations or at least picked dinner up on our way back to the townhouse. Instead we couldn’t even take a shower to look presentable after an afternoon of hiking, so we could go out to dinner- instead of cooking the food we had brought in the full kitchen that was now useless.The ladies during office hours were very nice, but could only give us a phone number to call for a manager. If we had received a call before their office closed with an update, or from a manager after we called the answering service at 9:30pm for an update, or a manager returned my call after we spoke to the office again as we left, my review would be higher.

The property was great. Unfortunately, check in was problematic. I let the staff know I would be arriving after hours, they said it would be no problem. However, when I arrived to check in at the security office they had no record of my reservation. They had to contact someone with the management company and after a somewhat lengthy delay, I was finally given a townhouse for my stay. The security officer told me to connect with the property management office the next morning as I may need to change locations. I was hiking the next morning and called the office to see what would happen with my reservation. It was before the office opened, so I left a message. They never called back and after hiking all morning, I stopped by the rental office. Staff was apologetic, but could not explain the issue. Overall, it was a good stay, but the management company seemed less than organized and not on top of things. I have stayed in Sapphire Valley several times before, but with a different management company. Those stays had no issues and the management company went out of its way to make sure my stay was going well.

The condo was in a great location and perfect for our needs. We would definitely stay again.

Everything was great. We stayed 6 nights. This is the 4th time we have stayed here. This place is quiet and very peaceful. If you are looking for a nice place away from all the hustle and bustle, this is the place. We will definitely return in the future

A good experience overall, but many items could be improved. The unit was old but clean. The split level layout was 3 half levels, with two flights of 6 steps. The master bathroom countertop was extremely low. The unit we were assigned had a peaceful view into the trees as well as the sound of a small waterfall. The pool needed surface scrubbing, especially the walls. The mini golf was old, but it was still usable and fun. The putters needed to be re-gripped, as the steel shaft came through the grips on most of the clubs.

Booked a stay only two weeks in advance that unexpected coincided with a popular seasonal event in the area (Outhouse Ski Races in Sapphire Valley). Expected crowds everywhere and questionable lodging since it was still available so close to the event, but was pleasantly surprised to get a resort experience at a reasonable price. Townhouse was spacious and clean and the kids loved the jetted tub, arcade, and mini golf. Would have tried foot golf if we stayed longer. Kids pointed out minor wear-and-tear in the unit. Tubing was reasonably priced and so convenient as was Ingles which we used for all our meal prep. Crowds were not bad at all. Would love to return.

Great property in the NC mountains. The condos are older but spacious and very clean. The staff is great and always willing to be accommodating.

Updated kitchen with marble counter tops backsplash and deep Stainless sink, fireplace, two private balconies(upstairs and downstairs) full size oven and refrigerator, washer and dryer, private master bedroom with jacuzzi tub, plenty of room for a family of five! Very clean! Excellent 4 day Thanksgiving stay! Great amenities at the Sapphire club house as well however you have a mile down the road to access. Thanks

If you ever have the opportunity to stay at a Foxhunt at Sapphire Valley property, it's a no brainer: stay there! It was a beautiful development, the townhome was lovely, and the amenities made us not want to leave.

Quiet, great location, closet what we wanted to do and luxurious to us. For us this was the nicest lodging of our trip. The area provided all we hoped for.

An older property but lovely.

Useless entry keys and absence of anyone on site to issue correct keys overshadowed my stay. The rental company's office is closed Sundays so I drove to their 'out of hours' office which is the public safety building. First I was given bracelets for entry - drove to the property - they didn't work. Drove back to the public safety office - given a key card - drove to the property - it didn't work. Drove back to the public safety office, they accompanied me back to the property and let me in with their master key for the development. But they couldn't let me have that of course, so when I went out to shop I had to get them to let me in again. Completely absurd. Call to company met with voicemail and zero action. I got workable key cards the next day when I drove to the normal office. A pity as the accommodation was clean, spacious, well equipped and comfortable, and all the staff I engaged with friendly and helpful.

This 1.1 miles east of the Sapphire Valley Country club turn, not next to the public safety, as shown on google. My building was 15, and top of the hill. unit has 3 levels, entry has bathroom and bedroom(2 singles), half flight up is LR and kitchen. Half flight down is master and ensuite bath, with jacuzzi tub. 2 balconies, with furniture. (nice rockers). small washer and dryer. there is some odor in the downstairs, like a dog lived there, or something... only noticeable in stairwell and master bath. I would stay there again and recommend this place. About 15 steps to the parking lot. TV downstairs had the major networks but upstairs only had samsung tv (like hulu). internet was ok. They also provided passes to the country club. SVCC.

We really enjoyed our stay at Foxhunt. The accommodations were very clean, roomy and comfortable. Everything we needed was available. We look forward to staying there again! And it was much cheaper than a hotel room.

The checknin was easy but place is very hard to find esp at night. They need better signage. Unit was a bit dark and dated but clean. Alittle pricey for what it was but i needed two bedrooms and it was around july 4th!
