Nice room at the back of property had everything we needed. Owners were friendly and gave good advice on places to dine out. Lovely breakfast

Our host was very friendly and welcoming. Be aware there are stairs to climb that are a bit steep if you have mobility issues but they aren’t too bad.

Excellent in every respect. Arrived in the pouring rain. Met by Steve who was very welcoming and gave good advice about a local boozer. We were staying 1 night in order to access boat to Scilly, short walk to ferry, but we were allowed an early breakfast and truly very good too, nothing was any trouble to Lynda who provided everything with care and attention. We liked them as a couple.

Lynda was very friendly and helpful. The facilities were comfortable and in a good location for us. Breakfast was tasty and fast. We had a wonderful visit at Torwood House and would highly recommend it.

Lynda and Steve were the perfect hosts, nothing too much trouble, provided areas of interest and to visit, friendly but professional, I would recommend them to everyone and I will return.

Linda was nice and accommodating. Also we liked the flexibility of the hosts, that we could check in earlier, actually way before our time in the morning. And we could leave our luggage before our train back to London in the evening on the day of checking out.

Fabulous B&B with clean contemporary rooms. Our double room was large with a sofa and fridge which was very helpful. Amazing breakfast options and lovely fresh and cheerful breakfast room. Hosts are lovely and very helpful

Excellent Breakfasts. Being the Christmas season the breakfast area was tastefully decorated. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for our needs. In addition the day we left I realised some way down the road I had mislaid my glasses. I called to see if they had been left in our room. Beyond the call of duty Lynda and her husband, searched our room, then looked outside and found them in the Road behind where my car had been parked. I would highly recommend Torwood House and if ever back in Penzance would happily book to stay there again.

perfectly situated for our requirements - staff were more than helpful and very friendly with a nice big varied breakfast menu to choose from - only one thing to mention is the parking although it is free as on the road outside and surrounding rounds it is very busy but we did eventually find a parking place every time we needed one - fully recommend this bed abs breakfast if you need to be anywhere near Penzance and surrounding areas

We only stayed at Torwood House one night but definitely would stay again. Lynda was so warm and welcoming! The room was clean and tidy and on quiet leafy street in Penzance. Breakfast was included and there was lots of options - the smoked haddock fishcakes with poached eggs were a lovely start to the day. If we were to be really picky it would be nice to have more plug sockets as it was difficult to charge things as only one accessible plug which did make it a bit difficult with both our phones and powerbanks and smartwatches but we got by for one night!

Big thanks to Linda and Steve for making us feel at home. Both very lovely and accommodating. The rooms were very spacious and had that extra touch- cookies, cold water in fridge, shower gels etc, which we really appreciated. The location is perfect only a few minutes walk to the promenade. I would definitely recommend and we definitely will be back. Thank you so much!!

Absolutely amazing! We were made to feel completely at home. Breakfast was wonderful, location was perfect and room was very clean. We would definitely stay there again!

A nice old building maintained to a good standard and very clean. Lynda is great at welcoming her guests and making them feel at home. She has lots of useful information to help guests get the most from their stay. We had a large bedroom, very comfy bed and lovely shower. A double USB socket was a nice addition. Beautiful breakfast to finish off. What more could you ask.

The bed was so comfortble, and breakfasts were excellent, worried about sliping in the shower i should put a handle in the shower. Heidi butler

Very good stay excellent host

Very lovely property for the price we paid. Only down side, if I'm being picky, is it is street parking on quite a busy road, but lots available by Torwood b&b.

Pluses: Very friendly and helpful innkeepers; large, clean, well-kept rooms; generous tasty breakfast; good location; easy check in and out; pet friendly. Minuses: breakfast is only available for one hour and rather early; walls are very thin so can be a bit noisy. Overall, very good value and definitely recommended.

It was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. It was a happy and friendly place and we were looked after very well.

We had one night in this hotel in Penzance following the train trip from London. I had mixed up the nights, but the B&B was very helpful in suggesting another place to stay for that night. They looked after our luggage after we picked up a our car. It was very clean, a our room was large. We also had a great full English breakfast which was a good start to the day. Very lovely and helpful owners.

Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Good value for money and would definitely use again.

Our room was ready even though we arrived at 8.30 in the morning, which was much appreciated after a long train journey. They even changed the arrangements to a twin bedded room in the double room allotted to us. The proprietors are a kind and really helpful couple.

Torwood House was absolutely fantastic! Our landlord and landlady were incredibly friendly, hospitable and helpful, for instance provided us at once with British three-pin adapters, as our computers were Continental two-pin. We haven't got the same service in some 4-star hotels!

Our host Lynda was very welcoming & helpful. Our room was very warm, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Nice touches like bottled water in the room and sachets of hot chocolate, in addition to the usual tea, coffee and (very nice) biscuits. Our room had a TV/DVD player and there was a DVD "library" in the Dining Room. Breakfast was great - we even managed to have a full English breakfast, despite being veggie as Lynda had some vegetarian sausages on hand.
