Great accommodations beautiful hotel fabulous location

Staff was friendly and very accommodating to our needs. Only one issue came up with one issue during our stay . We ordered breakfast in our room each morning.The day we were checking out we had ordered breakfast the night before and it didnt show up. When my wife spoke to the front desk they corrected the matter very quickly and it was much appricated.

Nice hotel located within walking distance to restaurants, pubs and shopping. We did not sleep well as the room was warm, street was noisy and the fire alarm went off. There was no fire and good to know the alarm works but we don’t know why it went off. The night staff did not mention it to day staff, who learned of it from guests. Still a nice hotel and convenient location. Breakfast was very good too.

will stay here again if in Killarney. very nice hotel, good breakfast, rooms were nice and modern.

Very nice room, loved our stay.

The Dromhall is a really good hotel. Extremely comfortable bedding, spacious room, safe in wardrobe, modern shower, very clean room. Breakfast is an experience everyone needs to have at least once, I had the pleasure of 3!!! I was given permission to play the piano (usually frowned on). Amy and Tabitha (or maybe Tallulah??) at breakfast deserve special mention for their kindness and friendliness, as do the 2 Duty Managers and Laura on reception. My only gripe was the woman who checked me in. She hardly spoke to me (I was the only one there), never smiled at me (even though I tried to talk to her), I passed a comment that 'you probably don't want to be working on Easter Monday'...and my reward was an eye roll!! Every time she was on reception when I was going in and coming back, I was completely ignored, she never asked me how my day went, never greeted me, asked me if everything was OK...quite rude to be honest. A few other staff members commented on my piano playing (positively Thank God!!), not one word did she utter. Laura, on the other hand, greeted me every time, asked how my day went, where I had been and how I was having a good time--completely different experience. I do know this woman's name, but don't want to put it in my review. She won't prevent me from returning to the Dromhall though. This is a very comfortable, clean, well located Hotel in Killarney and I hope to return in the near future. Thank you.

Nicely decorated reception area. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Rare to have a wash cloth in the bathroom, nice for those foreigners who forgot to bring one. Easy walking distance from the train. Nice on premise restaurant.

A lovely hotel, old but well-maintained, with very good service. Great breakfast, good bar, comfy rooms. It would be better with a gym and having to cross the car park for the pool a little annoying in the rain. It is located slightly out of the town but right by a very convenient shop and on the main Ring of Kerry route.

Overdated rooms with a " mountain view " and mostly a petrol station. Windows had a draft coming in all night and the shower was unusable as the ground of it was filthy with year old stains. The pool area and locker rooms were good. One thing that wasn't noted is that the pool area is shared with a sister hotel and you must leave the hotel building. I had high hopes for this hotel but unfortunately I don't believe it is up to the standard as the star rating claims to be. unfortunately I can't add the photos down below

I went there in party of 10 to celebrate my parents in law 65th wedding anniversary- the staff were all very helpful considering how to best cater for a 93 year old couple, their family and a dog. A great stay and meal had by all.

Lovely restaurant for breakfast which was served to order. Breakfasts were excellent quality with plenty of choice. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Bar food hit and miss, some meals better than others. Bed ver comfortable lots of counter space in bathroom for toiletries and excellent shower. Fresh water provided every day. Stunning staircase, loved the decor throughout hotel.

Wonderful stay close to everything

Dromhall Hotel is a fabulous hotel, easy access to town, just a few minutes walk. Lovely breakfast cooked fresh. Extremely clean and comfortable , bed was just so comfortable .

My wife and I (from the U.S. and in our 50s) stayed two nights at the Dromhall and would absolutely recommend it. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean, the bathroom was modern and the shower had better water pressure than anyplace else I’ve stayed in Ireland. The staff was gracious and welcoming, the breakfast was great, and the hotel is an easy walk from Killarney House and Gardens and the High Street shopping district. Will absolutely stay there again on our next trip.

Property was a short walk from the downtown area so it was quiet at night but easy to get to the action. Everything about the hotel was excellent but it’s important to know there’s no air conditioning. The weather was mild for our stay and a fan is provided in the room, but I could imagine it gets very hot and humid for some especially in the summer months.

When we arrived at 8:30 restaurant was closing. No room service, we had to go across the street to a grocery store. The pool and sauna also closes at 9:00. The said it opens at 8:00am, but staff did not show up in the morning and it was closed. We were disappointed. The staff really didn’t seem concerned about these inconveniences. It was extremely pretty and comfortable beds, but would not recommend if you are travelling and arriving late.

The room was ok, the breakfast was not good. It also smelled funny in the public areas. Wish I had spent a little more and stayed at a nicer place.

This was a great place to stay in a very convenient proximity to down town. I wish we would have stayed longer! The breakfast was the best we had the entire time in Ireland. I only wish they had air conditioning in the room - but they did have a fan if you needed it.

Nothing to fault. Location was great, service was good, room was better than we thought it was going to be. Comfy beds, great nights sleep. Would definitely stay again.

I can’t believe how great this hotel was. It really felt like a luxury 5 star experience, and for the price it was an incredible deal. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The room was really nice, the food at the restaurant was pretty good too. One note about Killarney - traveling to or from Killarney by public transportation is a nightmare. You should absolutely rent a car or hire a driver to travel here. The only other option is local busses which are not great - if they show up at all. And if you have a car you can drive around the ring of Kerry and see some amazing views and some quaint Irish villages. Highly recommend taking a tour through the Gap of Dunloe while you stay here.

Enjoyable comfortable stay close to everything in Killarney

Friendly staff on check in. Good food in bar, but then we had noise from 1130-1230am on first night in our room from othwr guest bedrooms. We ignored as it was paddy’s wknd. 2nd night partying from 1130-4am loud music kids running up and down hallway. Complained to reception. They came up talked to guest who were quiet for 10 mins then started again. Switching rooms and playing loud music and singing. Security staff never returned to check on the noise levels which Remained until 4am. Gave up after repeated calls to reception with no answer. Won’t be staying here again.

We spent lovely time in hotel.We enjoyed swimming pool and beautiful food in the bar .Nice room with very comfy beds and mountain view.Close enough to city centre. I really recommended this hotel !

We had a very quick overnight stay, but we were really impressed with this hotel. The staff were very friendly. We had a deluxe king room and it was very spacious and the bed was the comfiest hotel bed ever! The hotel decor is gorgeous. Great location, only 5 minute walk to town centre. We will definitely return

Very clean, nice restaurant. Bed was a bit too firm, but I’ve found hotels in Ireland don’t have very comfortable beds in general. Breakfast was good and sufficient. The location was convenient and walkable to pubs and shopping area. Staff was welcoming and friendly.

My mother and i recently stayed here during our first trip to Ireland. The hotel staff was always very pleasant and helpful. The room we stayed in was beautiful and felt like staying in someones home. The room was clean and cozy. Would highly recommend if you're in Killarney.

Property is located about 10 minute walk to main area of Killarney. Area was noisy if you were on the front of the hotel. Ask for back of hotel if possible.
