The staff and entertainment was awesome

I had a wonderful stay

I liked the fact there were a lot of live shows everyday during my stay. The drinks were delicious. There were a variety of food options. The only thing I disliked, is the pool closed at 6 pm so I didn’t get a chance to enjoy swimming at the resort.

The entertainment staff and theater staff / dancers are amazing . They Really know how to put on a great show and keep you engaged around the pools/beach area. The staff around the resort are very attentive to you and details. Great place to come to get away. The food was an 8/10, room for improvement. The parties were good too. This is my second time staying at the resort and I would stay again. Also the rooms are clean 9/10, housekeeping is very kind. The View from my room was incredible.

I love the access to food and beverages around the clock!!!….The property is to big ….They need golf carts to access every building… but the overall staff was great and welcoming I loved it

Cleanliness

I do not have a single bad thing to say about the staff at this resort. They were actually wonderful. Probably the best I’ve ever experienced. So friendly and definitely go out of their way to help. That being said…there should be some kind of warning about this resort. RIU’s are known to be “party resorts” as I’ve been to several but the party aspect of this resort was a whole new level to the point where you need to avoid the pool bar entirely for several hours a day. This was not your typical foam party, loud music, silly games kind of RIU pool party. This was a pool packed with people that were rubbing their asse* on everything(“twerking”), loud obnoxious music talking about body parts. The average game was a dance off between woman wearing tiny bathing suits rubbing “as* and tittie*” all over everything. If I heard the phrase “clap those cheeks” or the word “puss*” one more time! It was dirty, raunchy, X-rated and entirely unnecessary unless there’s a clear warning that this is what the resort represents. We also noticed several couples hooking up with other couples. Nothing wrong with it. To each is own but seems as if there’s definitely a “swingers” vibe to this place and that should be disclosed at booking as well. Would not go back if someone paid me.

The property was not terrible! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However there were roaches in the rooms, the food was also nasty by day 2 i was just going off the resort to eat. The drinks were good. The pool, beach, and bars all nice, the rest not so good not for the price that was paid

The food was horrible and there was no elevators in some of the buildings.. staff wasn’t the nicest (front desk) be ready to bring towels for the pool cause they run out.. I’ve stayed in Riu hotels in many countries even the one in ochie.. this place is horrible

Had such a great stay and experience at RIU in Jamaica. Paul was also so great at the front desk amongst many others. Also another nice girl her name started with a R. She wears a R initial necklace with a crown on top of it, she was also so great. Great hospitality, activities, food, drinks. Thanks so much

I really enjoyed staying at RIU mo bay it was a great experience! The shows and interactions from the staff were great. The transportation drivers were great and friendly. The room was clean and quiet. The house keepers were happy and friendly. That’s for such a great experience

It was a good stay. I enjoyed the food but they have a 24 hour bar and they run out of food quickly. Don’t like the fact that they have cold sandwiches not really a choice of food to eat if you want to eat late but must stay.

I feel safe coming there for so many years.

Riu Resorts is the best and the only Resort I will pick for my trips

Very Disappointing Experience Our group of six stayed in three rooms at this resort from August 31, 2023, to September 5, 2024, and we were deeply disappointed with the experience. One of our rooms had roaches, and the toilets in two out of the three rooms were not functioning properly. When we sought assistance from the staff, they were consistently rude and seemed annoyed whenever we asked for help. The food options were limited, with the buffet offering nearly the same menu every day. Additionally, it was extremely difficult to book reservations at the specialty restaurants, as availability was very limited. To top it off, the internet was painfully slow, making it hard to stay connected. Overall, the combination of poor service, limited food options, and basic facility issues made for a very unsatisfactory stay. We expected much more and were left disappointed.
