I made the reservation for two nights check in on 4 December checking out sixth of December I checked in around 2 PM or 2:30 PM on the fourth as soon as I got to my room within an hour I received a call from California from my family that my my father just passed away unexpectedly so I came downstairs and I rushed to the airport for a standby flight to California and I explain to the manager and somebody at the counter that that’s my problem and I need to check out. I read your policy that if there’s a death in the family, I should be fully refunded even though if I had a nonrefundable ticket, but they charged me for one night because of this and that and this and that And I paid $119 for one hour staying in that hotel so you tell me how satisfied I am

We stayed here the night before our trip to Rome, and then two weeks later when we returned from London. The rooms are spacious, reasonably quiet, and the (included) breakfast is decent. My wife hated the coffee, however. But it's a good option near Dulles that is not expensive.

We chose the property because of the shuttle to the airport. I called the hotel when I collected the luggage. They said 15 minutes - it arrived in 10 - EXCELLENT. Unfortunately I left one bag at the airport by accident - Mark, the driver took me back and we found it - EXCELLENT. On the following day we asked to go to the airport but told the driver we were going to pick up the Avis shuttle. He took us straight to the Avis compound. Again - EXCELLENT! Thank you Hyatt.
The only downside - not enough fruit at breakfast.

This is a great hotel close to the airport with an airport shuttle starting at 5 AM. The staff is always friendly and kind. You will want to eat dinner somewhere else as there are no walkable restaurants but the metro is very close and walkable

We selected the hotel since it was one stop away from Dulles and only two blocks from the Metro station. The hotel is newer, generally clean, with a small pool, gym, and breakfast is included.
Before booking, we inquired if there were vegan products and true to their word, we found oatmeal, granola, bagels and bread, peanut butter and jams, coffee and oat milk and juices, and apples and bananas. The only criticism I had with our three night stay was that the staff in the kitchen were snippy two of the days when asking them to replenish the supplies. We headed into the tourist areas of DC everyday and while the Metro was close, it takes 50 minutes to reach center city which might be a deal breaker for future trips. However, as a gay vegan couple, the hotel offers a great deal with very professional staff, clean, reasonably priced for a great value, and LGBTQ friendly-just avoid the snippy kitchen staff.

Started from the check in,I had to wait about half hour to check in after driving 10 hours from canafa,and I was so tired, no hand soad in the room,I went down to get some,because whenbyou call front desk,yhe answer will be we don't have staff.
The breakfast so cheach,not too much varieties. We asked to clean up our room but they didn't.

I have been to the Hyatt so many times and in so many countries. It is one of my favorite hotel chains because it’s clean, great service, and always great locations and that’s why I booked a room for my mom there. However, her experience was as far from what I experienced in the past with the staff. The receptionist made sure to welcome and give all information needed to the person ahead of her but when it was her turn she says the receptionist picked up the phone and started talking on the phone and instead of appropriately asking her to wait for him he started directing her with his hands. He also never gave her any information about breakfast or airport shuttle and just handed her the keys with no directions or information. I was surprised to know that someone that works at the Hyatt was so unprofessional.

Traveling alone, a restaurant/bar in house is important. You advertise one yet every time I tried to use it, it was closed.
The breakfast you advertise is embarrassing. Day old turkey sausage patties, a pot of diced cooked potatoes and sorry eggs is the hot breakfast. No half and half or cream for coffee. I prefer the Hyatt Place hotels where ever I travel. Nice new contemporary rooms. Clean and well maintained. Very convenient to Dulles airport. They have a free airport shuttle.

There was no bar soap at our sink and hotel said they ran out but manager had gone to another property to get some and they would bring it to us. But they never did. The next morning, they still didn’t have any bar soap.

The shuttle service was a mess. I waited more than 35 min, and when the driver arrive to pick me up he was upset and had a very bad attitude. Very disappointing after all the wait.

Standard double was a good-sized clean room with a comfortable sitting area.
According to our body clocks it was 4am so we turned off the extremely noisy air-con rather than ask for a room change but it was so bad we’d have complained if we’d had the energy.
Sound insulation seemed good - there was no noise from outside or other rooms.
One of the attractions for us was the free airport shuttle. The hotels instructions told us to phone on arrival which proved a nightmare with a UK phone. We finally just made our way to the meeting point to discover the van turns up around 20 mins past every hour (except midnight to 5am).
Breakfast was a disappointment - a couple of uninspiring cereals or rock solid porridge or soggy scrambled egg and dry burger. I know it’s complimentary but we’ve had much better at a similar price point.

Shuttle driver was helpful. He left at 11am and front office staff said I had to wait until 12 for the next shuttle, but he came back and took us about 11:30am which helped us make our flight less stressful.

I have an earthquake phobia, I was going to ask the receptionist (Patrick) about how to assign a higher level room so i would have some idea for my future stays, he instantly insulted me saying ”you should look at the dictionary for what assign is”.
I should admit, I have an accent but he had as well, I called their 1-800 customer service and they said they will follow up, they have not, not yet.
The room was spacious but the furniture was very old, the cushions on the sofa was ripped into pieces, literally…Also lots of stains…the air coming out of AC was smell musty, which I am very sensitive to air quality…They didn’t have ANY type of butter at breakfast, they also charge for parking, i chose not to park with them. I am not sure if I will stay here again, although I travel to DC area very often, there are plenty other options, HOSTILE customer service ruins the business.

Good hotel for airport. Shuttle upon request when you land, so make sure to call. On the hour shuttles back to the airport. Close to a metro station, 45 mins into downtown Washington and all the sights. Very large room, clean and well maintained. Comfy bed. Breakfast looked ok although we left too early to eat any.
