Super hotel, super location, beautiful surroundings

In the room next to the bed, some unpleasant electrical equipment (probably a refrigerator) hummed behind the wall during the entire stay. It made for restless sleep.

Good location, just in front of the harbor. Nice and clean room with the view on the lake.

Poor soundproofing, you can hear everything from the room next to you. On the third floor there are family rooms, the guests were very noisy..kids running around and stomping late evening and early morning.

I had a single bed room. It has a perfect view over the canals with many boats in it.

Ligging Hotel Restaurant

close to the highway and directly at the harbour of the cute traditional village in a touristic area of the Netherlands. good price/quality. Close to Leeuwarden. Old building but renovated rooms and bathroom. good breakfast buffet. Friendly and helpful staff. Will book again.

The hotel has 3 floors but no elevator. So if climbing stairs is a problem then indicate that in your booking and you will have a ground floor room if available. Its not a reason not to stay on the hotel. Overall this 2* hotel is agood choice.

very small bathroom

I could hear the noise from the room upstairs as if they were dragging wrecking balls around. The curtain was so thin it was useless. The shower area in the small bathroom didn't have curtain so it was water everywhere. The door of the bathroom couldn't open all the way as it hits the toilet. There's an electric car charger but it was NOT reserved for electric cars. An non electric mini van parked at that parking spot for the charger for 2 days. I asked the staff about it and they did nothing but suggested I could find a charger in the village instead.

I enjoyed the restaurant and the staff. I also enjoyed the view out the window and the large amount of space in the rooms. I also enjoyed the decorations in the hotel and its proximity to the water. The staff also allowed us to keep our bikes indoors.

The stairs were a bit steep, which could be a bit dangerous. This seems to be the case in a lot of parts of Europe.

Good breakfast and a nice dinner in the evening. Super nice staff - very friendly and helpful. Hotel stands right on the harbour and is great place for boat-watching. My second stay here and would recommend it.

Even combination of historical building, you can hear your neighbors breathing, literally, and nearby church nearly killed me and I would give normally much less. I can't everything is clean, room small, but comfortable, everything normal. But stuff and kitchen, they killed it all. Perfect cuisine in combination with smiling and helpful stuff and breakfast on the terrace by water. Always again.
