A really super last night of our short break. Convenient location just minutes from rhe motorway, yet situated in a quiet nd charming small town. Accomodation couldn’t have been better and we were upgraded even though we had a dog with us. Lage, warm and very well-appointed rooms with great bathrooms and good beds nd duvets. Had an excellent meal in the hotel restaurant - very fast service. Personnel very accomodating and pleasant all the way through. You can’t beat these family- run hotels in Small German towns. This must be one of the best. we are repeat guests and will definitely return again.

Very clean and great breakfast, some heavy lifting since there was no elevator, staff ok but not very friendly. Some loud doorslamming in the morning, I would invest in doorsilencer when closing, not that expensive with some rubber. Nice rooms and great breakfast, might go back

Very nice place

Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere, nice and very clean room, super nice breakfast buffet. In short, a really nice place where you want to come back for another time. An extra plus, for us who drive an electric car. There is a garage with electric charging at a reasonable price per kWh. Highly recommended!

The check-in was fast, the rooms excellent and the food in the restaurant great. A perfect place to stop after a long day in Stau on Autobahn.

The hotel is set in very nice grounds, including a charming 16th century church which hosted a wedding while we were there. We had two roons and each was spacious and comfortable and everyone commented on their great night's sleep. The breakfast buffet had everything we wanted and the service throughout was friendly. We were completely happy with our stay. It is a short drive through pleasing countryside to all the heide spots. We plan to return soon.

The staff is really friendly. We arrived late and they had no issues with it. There are cold drinks in the hallway and the free breakfast has everything you'd want (waffles too). Heide park is close by.

We loved the hotel and were only sorry the restaurant was not open on our stay.Breakfast was great and the property was lovely

Totally try Chex by this hotel as far as pictures and reviews. Its basically a Hotel 6 and felt like it was abandoned when we arrived. Pictures used at Expeciad hotel look quant and attractive. Not sure how they made the picture with the flowers, but it did even have any plant lie within 50-100 years. We arrived in the evening and a staff member wasting even at the front desk and it took several minutes for them to come to the front desk. They seemed as if they were half-asleep. When we got to the room there was construction equipment in the hall and within the room it looks more like a youth hostel than a hotel room. Really cheap furniture. Cold and frankly ugly. My wife and I decided to just leave and not even stay there. We drove to another hotel. Probably my worst experience with a hotel. Not sure why ratings on Expedia were relatively good. I got tricked by these. Wont make that mistake again!

Very warm and friendly staff. The town is very charming as well. Dinner at the guest house was absolutely delicious.

I was a disappointed with the fact that there is no lift in this hotel. I had a displaced hip and arthritis and can only walk with the aid of a walking cane. Once I slowly struggled up the stairs I stayed there as I couldnt go back down again until morning. However the breakfast was very good and lots of it

Wonderful hotel to stay at for a short break. Friendly staff, good sized and spotless room, excellent food and in a great location for exploring the beautiful Luneburg heath and the historic town of Luneburg. Will definitely come again.

A really nice hotel. Lovely staff. Lots of nice personal touches. Catered for gluten free diet. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant. I would highly recommend it.

It was a very nice room and very easy to get back to the motorway. Just a short distance, maybe 2-3 km and worth it for setting is beautiful and worth taking photos of the surroundings. We were very happy. Staff speaks some English , enough to get by with and very nice. Good breakfast. The room could have been a little cooler but was comfortable. I would stay there again and would recommend it highly

Calm neighbourhood at the countryside. Nice scenery, good restaurant at the hotel and a superb ice-cream shop next door with italian ice cream.

We very much enjoyed staying here although it was only an overnight stop. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. We had a look around the charming town in the morning before departing for Denmark. The bed was very comfortable which was essential after our long journey from the UK. The room had everything you need including a bottle of local sparking water. There is a mini bar near the room. The restaurant has a balcony looking out over the garden where we had a lovely breakfast. All in all a definite recommendation.

We had a big room and it was well equipped including tea and coffee making. The evening meal was super with regional dishes on the menu. A great and varied buffet breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.
