There is nothing not to like about the entire Villa di Mare complex. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, it was a glorious stay of luxury and relaxation. The room we had was a Premier Suite with Private Pool and Sea View, and whilst the main pool was absolutely stunning, we didn't use it due to our room and pool being so beautiful and exclusive. The bar serves up the most beautiful cocktails, absolute kudos to the bar team for these genius creations. The restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way - genuinely one of the best culinary experiences I've ever had in my life. I could talk for days about how incredible my stay was at Villa di Mare, but instead I will just say that if you are reading this...don't think twice, just book it. You won't find anywhere even close in Rhodes, or maybe even the whole of Greece.

This place was an absolute dream! We stayed in a charming little bungalow with our own private pool, which our daughter loved!! The views are breathtaking, the staff is attentive and very kind, and the bar has tasty unique cocktails (even non alcoholic for the little ones) This place just might be our favorite hotel ever. We will be back someday, until then we will dream about it.

Smoking allowed throughout the property. Which is horrendous when you’re having breakfast. Air conditioning units are very noisey. Very dated. Wonderful bar tender in the evening. Very close to a lovely beach club/ taverna called Maestro

Not 5 star by any means. More 3 star. Staff great, restaurant great but rooms more 3 star. Ants in room. Decking around main pool worn out. Private pool had green mould around it, patio dirty just everything tatty and in need of an upgrade. I was told there were newer parts of the hotel and reception was lovely but the bungalows not so good

It was a wonderful stay. We loved it. Is a great place to stay, with direct access to the ocean and a fantastic pool. Staff was very responsive, in a timely manner. The view of the sunset from the room, and from the bar and restaurant was exquisite. Food was very tasty and flavorful. And made with fresh local ingredients . The cocktails to be enjoyed while watching the sunset — really to die for 😊 we will be back for sure ❤️ One of the best stays we had in Greece! ❤️❤️❤️

My partner and I stayed here for 10 nights. The room with the private pool was spectacular, and the staff service was impeccable, Jordan in particular made sure we were looked after at the bar. Thank you! Would definitely recommend.

De kamer bevond zich onder een Israelisch restaurant, waar veel herrie vandaan kwam. Te weinig privacy bij het aan de kamer gekoppelde zwembad.

Very bad wifi

I don't know what makes this hotel 5 stars. The value for the money was not good. Room was clean and comfy. There was karaoke first night I checked in and I could hear in my overpriced room everything until 4 am. The plug in bathroom was broken when I came - I could see the cabels and whole thingy was out of the wall and had to push it whole back in wall in order to use it - it didn't look safe at all. The pool by hotel is open tu public, with a FREE ENTRANCE and this was not presented with the offer. I wanted to be more isolated during these covid times. NO covid test check or vaccination check during check-in???? Seriously? The Multi-Awarded Villa di Mare Restaurant as they say on website was overpriced and food was not really worth the money. Breakfasts included with room are good tho. The view by the pool is great, access to the sea was good. On top of it in case of any issue you will want to solve with management of the hotel, they will try to make you feel as a dumb. Well, I paid money to be your guest, so you should consider that I have a reason to go out of my comfort zone and talk to you in lobby about the issues which happened with YOUR other guests. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I will not come back. I liked the Ixia so I stayed in different place for rest of my week stay. Also I didn't recommend to my friends even some of them asked for recommendations in Ixia. If you considering this place, IMHO I would say that value is not worth the money spent for super overpriced rooms.

The hotel is nice and in a good location. Fabulous pool and fantastic sea views. Spectacular sunsets! This is Greece and some things don't get done quickly.... The elevator was not working for our entire stay as they were waiting parts! But the staff were always happy to help so we managed without the elevator.

Mycket trevlig personal och god mat.Bra pool med poolbar/mat. Lagom med folk.Nära till strand och restuaranger. Taxi till Rhodos stad tar 5min (10€) eller så går man men det tar ca 30-40 min.

Amaysing hotel

My friend and I had been so excited for this stay for a very long time. When we arrived, we weren't really satisfied with our room, because it didn't look like the pictures. But it was first until we were lying by the pool that we really felt that we had been fooled. Loud party music from noon until midnight by the pool AND the pool was open to the public, so there was a lot of people! Not very satisfying, when you have paid a lot of money to stay at a 5-star hotel... where everyone else can enter as well. We then talked to hotels.com, and afterwards the managers of the hotel… which were SO RUDE! I had to go through two big and LOUD discussions in the lobby with two adult managers, who couldn't even say sorry for the bad experience we have had. And whenever I said that the music was too loud or the room wasn't satisfying, they would just argue against me and say that I was wrong. - I wouldn't call that customer service, let alone 5 star (!?) hotel service!? Finally, we talked with the owner of the hotel, who wanted to help, but only wanted to give 1/4 of the price we had paid to find a new hotel. We ended up getting another "pricier" room because it was too expensive for us to pay for another hotel. Instead we ended up having BIG COCKROACHES and bedbugs/fleas instead! Faeces from cockroaches by the plates in the kitchen! We finally got a new (an actual 5 STAR hotel and service) hotel in the city through hotels.com. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to ANYONE!

Das einzige 5* war der Preis. Die Räume Sind zwar groß, aber sehr spartanisch eingerichtet. So manches Zimmer einer Jugendherberge hat mehr Charme. Die Anlage ist nur auf Tagesbesucher des Pools und der Bar ausgelegt. Das ist mehr als spürbar.

The venue is nice and our kids enjoyed the small private pool. The room was close to the main pool (right next to it) so the music was a bit much for us at night as we were trying to sleep with the music pumping. The shower in our room leaked badly, flooding the room each time we showered. The exit lights also stay on which makes the rooms quite bright and the children had trouble sleeping. No tea or coffee or milk provided. Menu in room was incorrect and missing pages etc. Restaurant and bar was good / staff were very friendly.

For a private bungalow with private pool and sea views it was extremely disappointing. Occupants for the other 4 bungalows had to walk past our pool and sun beds - so not at all private. Even the workers walked past and entered the next property through a gate in our private bungalow fence!!!! Our pool and sun beds never got the sun so we spent all out time at the main pool. So overall a complete waste of money. Oh and the sea view was seen by standing on the path.

The pool staff (Stella) especially! We’re excellent!Although the supervisor guy tried to say kids weren’t allowed on the pool after 1pm?Also we were not aware before arriving no kids in main pool and it’s open to the public! The hotel try’s to be family friendly but really isn’t family ready. We asked for highchairs in the room which was arranged however when eating in the restaurant they had to go to get ones from room. Investment in highchairs is needed.It is not 5 star, confusion with room type as when booked we checked at said hot tub and we did not receive this. The lady reception was helpful but man not so much. The main issue was loud music by the pool at night. We complained every night and a few nights we had to sleep in the lounge..not good for 5 star and family hotel !
