Service was amazing! I am not a fan of carpets and the room smelled a bit musty. It was clean though. Service was seriously amazing.

Very nice hotel. If you bring a car its really expensive to park in garages. Hotel charge 40$ Free on street till 9am.

We stayed on the top floor with the balcony with the view of the harbor. Worth the extra. Everyday there was a cruise ship in port in the busy harbor. Room was clean and comfortable. Excellent downtown location. We had a car, so we used the valet service. It was cheaper in the long run as Portland is weird in shutting and gating many parking garages overnight. Go to cyclemania for an ebike rental. You can then bike the back cove and/or take the other bike trail right to downtown.

The front desk staff was wonderful, Joey went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous. A valet, working Sunday 9/ 8 4:00pm effectively and courteously managed 5 vehicles ( all arrived within seconds of each other) and repeatedly provided excellent service.

There was a lot of noise through the night. Voices in the hall carry right into the rooms waking people up ever time a group goes by. The wedding party on a higher flour was loud and noisy all night the hotel needs to seriously work on noise abatement.

Had a wonderful time, the hotel was nice and clean. The hotel staff answered all my questions that I had.

Toddlers and babies and dogs oh my! There wasn’t a single moment that I did not hear a baby screaming a toddler crying or a dog barking. Sleeping was intermittent. Even changed rooms after the first night and was no better. Hotel should invest in better soundproofing. Would choose a different hotel if I’m staying in Portland again.

The rooms felt a little banged up but we noted they are being renovated this winter. The staff was courteous and helpful, took great care of our family.

We had a great stay. Our only downside was we have a standard transmission and valet parking had a lot of difficulty and we had to go ger our own car as no one could drive it. Plus we tried ro use the code to prompt them and text and neither worked for us.

Great hotel in a perfect location. Walking distance to all shops and restaurants. Check in was smooth and so was the valet parking.

Great hotel right in the historic district so excellent walking options to food, shopping etc. great staff and rooms. Would definitely recommend and would stay again when in Portland

The property was conveniently located in Old Port where we were taking a lobster fishing charter at Lucky Catch. We were able to walk over, get our lobster cooked at Portland Lobster Co, then head over back to the hotel street for shopping

Bed was not very comfortable, and property was a bit dated. The fact that they only do housekeeping every 2nd day is pretty ridiculous given the cost per night

We were upgraded to a suite, which was fantastic. We also loved working out every day.

Great location. Room with two beds… there is no walking room on one side of each bed. Only nightstand is in the middle. Third floor rooms have roof right outside window with seagulls living there and trash. A/C not cool overnight at all. Was fine for a one night quick stay but I would have asked to be moved if we were staying longer. Nice front desk person and great walkable neighborhood. Incredibly expensive for such a basic barebones feeling stay.

Everything is top notch, from the employees friendliness, to the view and accessibility to where you’re going. Breakfast is excellent, bed is comfy, room is very clean. I will be happy to recommend this place, and if ever I come visit I will be definitely stay. I’m satisfied with my stay!

Great location. Breakfast was typical Day's Inn "help yourself" and $14......powdered eggs No microwave. $40 valet for car.
