Stayed here for a conference at the Messe. Check-in was very efficient. Jasminka was really knowledgeable and helpful throughout the stay. She explained the travel routes, trams, buses all in detail. Answered all the questions that we had. The other male receptionist was also really helpful asking about our stay. The room was clean and really quiet. Very roomy and bathroom equipped with all the essential toiletries. Hotel just 1 min from the Bus to the Basel SBB main train station. Highly suggest to have a day trip to Colmar, Lucerne, and the Outlet Mall in Germany border. Highly recommended. A short walk down the steps will be the Toy Museum and the main tram station to the city and river. 10 min walk to the old town and main shopping areas.

Very nice staff

The staff of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. We could walk easily to the Marketplatz, restaurants, and even a free concert! I would highly recommend!

Nothing unique. Average breakfast room was clean and nice. Staff was kind and very helphull. Only issue was eith the AC was not working good enough. Room was not cold and at night even worked less. The roo. Was very warm during the night.

Clean, fresh looking property in Basel. Nice sized room, especially by European standards. Very nice fitness facility. We did not upgrade to breakfast so cannot comment on food, but plenty of good places to eat in walking distance. Close to tram stop and Basel SBB train station (10-15 minute walk). 15 minutes to city hall/Rhine river by foot. Close to museums as well.

Light switches were impossible to figure out.

We loved our stay at the Passage Hotel. The hotel and rooms were modern, neat and clean. Staff were all very helpful and friendly and able to assist with local information. The area was easy walking to dining, shopping and entertainment. Beautiful place.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back to Basel for a longer visit in the future.

Every single staff we met over our 3 day stay have been very friendly, the management definitely hired a good team. The room is reasonable.

Hotel was perfectly located,clean and breakfast was wonderful. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. A few hooks in the bathroom and a few open shelves in the living space would be large improvements.

The old town of Basel was right behind the hotel. Easy to walk around and the hotel also gives you a free 24 hour transit pass. We walked 20 minutes to get to the river and took a tram back. We booked a standard room which was very nice and a good size. Everything was very clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We asked for a kettle and one was quickly provided. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The stay was great, good location, great room.

Very comfortable room and quiet, even though we’re facing the street. From what I can see (or actually hear), you don’t want the trolleys to be anyway close to your hotel

Staff is great. Very attentive, accommodating and friendly. Hotel is modern and clean. Good breakfast and large well-equipped gym with sauna.

Great stay, only 2 minus points were too hard mattress for me and wifi didnt work.

The only few items that this hotel needs to improve on is the pillows, the sink needs a stop for hand washing small items which is needed when travelling, and at least 10 hangers for two people.
