Restaurant menu limited

It’s neat that this is an historic site. However, it needs some updating. It looks shabby rather than polished. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Super location in the epicenter of americana.

This is a most delightful hotel with a wonderful location. You are able to walk to many of the areas attractions especially when the town is celebrating certain holidays. I highly recommend.

The Bolling-Wilson Hotel is a wonderful place for a quiet getaway; classic building, excellent staff, wonderful dining facilities - it's all here.

A very enjoyable stay

They are pet Friendly. The rooms are very nice. The restaurant is great. The person at The desk is fabulous. If I’m ever in this area again, I will stay here.

We were greeted by friendly staff arriving and departing. Rooms were cozy, clean and updated. Breakfast was simple but convenient. Quaint little town. Wish we could’ve stayed longer as we were just passing through

It was beautiful

The roof deck is beautiful with comfortable seating and gorgeous views. Staff are kind, friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. We love staying at the Bolling Wilson hotel.

A cut above your typical 'freeway exit hotel.' Staff was friendly and courteous. Rooms were clean and well-appointed. Building is architecturally interesting. Complimentary breakfast was good-not great- with a fair amount of variety. Would stay here again.

Lovely property—excellent service and friendly staff!!

This is the third time we’ve stayed at the hotel, both with and without our dog. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the bed and sheets are amazing. It’s right downtown, so walkable to restaurants and shops, but we always eat at the delicious, stylish restaurant in the hotel - Graze on Main.

My husband planned this hotel visit because we stayed at the Bolling Wilson Hotel before and knew how much I loved it. My next stay is going to be when it’s warm enough to enjoy the roof top lookout/bar. Definitely loved The Graze Restaurant. It’s so nice to settle in and not have to go out for dinner. Great meal!

The history of the property

The in-town and historic nature of the property is what we like. The service is great, the staff very friendly and accommodating. The only negative is that the breakfast is ordinary, what you would find at other three star chain hotels, had hoped it would be better considering it has an on site restaurant. (which is good for dinner)

Usually we are warmly greeted in past stays. This time the desk person was a bit cold. Also the room was not as lovely with mismatched window treatments, one a typical blind and one a broken Venetian which let the lights on the bank & mainstreet shine in. Breakfast was fine and we love the location and history.

This is at least my 4th visit here. I love this place.

This boutique hotel is charming and well appointed. The room itself had a lot of character and the beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. We canceled a reservation at a different hotel and decided to book here after having dinner at the same hotel restaurant the week before. There were some disappointments, including having to wait about 10 minutes at the check-in desk for the employee to return, presumably, from some kind of break. It was unfortunate that there was no coverage by a teammate. Then when we went to the restaurant , we were provided with a limited Sunday menu, even though it was Saturday . The explanation was that they were shortstaffed, and were not able to prepare all of the items on the menu. I get it, everyone is dealing with staffing issues, but since the restaurant was part of the draw of why we returned, It was disappointing. Then, we had breakfast the next morning, which was one of the other major, draws after it was described as a quite hearty buffet by one of the servers in the restaurant. it was very limited, about what I expect at any mid-level motel. I will allow that it could’ve just been an off weekend due to staffing issues but I hope it gets resolved soon. There is an interesting history to the hotel and on their best day the restaurant is excellent.
