The location and car park is alright but the air condition needs upgrading. We stayed there for the night a family of 4.. one night is just enough. And being checked in there, you have to pay to use the spa per head which i found it ridiculous! And the lady in the reception is not very welcoming.

Very dark room, no window but comfy and huge bed! Reception didn’t tell us what to do with the parking so got stuck getting out of the car park and had to run back in to get the ticket they had kept behind the desk? Otherwise central location

Nice central hotel with comfortable rooms. Staff could be more accommodating and friendly. We needed a crib and one of the receptionist was very unhelpful and kept saying that we needed to say that in advance even though we booked for 2 adults and a 8 month old. When we were leaving we couldn’t get the garage door open for the car and the same receptionist was very rude when we asked for help. Again in 30 degree heat and a baby in the car, we expected a bit more.

Great location in the new side of town with very useful onsite parking. Big bedroom, lots of storage space and v comfortable bed. It ticked many boxes and was good value. Location v.central - no views of the gorge obviously- but it’s in the centre of the real side of town next to cafes, bars, shops and an excellent supermarket. Clean and professional.

I stayed two nights at the hotel el tajo. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very well located next to the main shopping street, and very close to the attractions. It was quiet at night. I did not have breakfast, or use the spa.

Can’t speak too highly of this 3* hotel. Very convenient to the main attractions. About a 20 minute stroll to the gorge and bridge in Mijas. Convenient for lots of restaurants. Immaculately clean . Comfortable beds and rooms. Lovely staff. First rate breakfast. Has its own parking but may well be full. Public parking 500 meters away and reasonably priced. Free from 22.00 until 08.00 A thoroughly pleasant experience at a reasonable price. Recommended.

It was right in old town and the hotel had a lot of character. Waking distance to everything. Asked for parking but was told upon arrival they didn’t have any spots left. It was up to us to find a spot. Check-in girl wasn’t helpful but everyone else was very friendly.

Good value and close to everything. One minor comment is the smell/spray used in the lobby/hotel. Too strong of a scent used!

The receptionist was not helpfull at all. As it is a tourist destination there was nothing in English German,French, pamphlets when asked what was there to see she could not tell me. Very disappointing.

It was a pleasant stay. Room was very clean and the shower was great. Location in the middle of the town with a car parking at the hotel (15€/day). Hotel have a small spa: pool with treatments, steam sauna and different showers.

Very conveniently located - steps from Carrera Espinel, and in the heart of Ronda. A few minutes' walk to the gorge, the Real Maestranza, and wandering all the sights & sites of Ronda. Our room was super spacious - the bed was comfortable, the shower was great, and we had no issues with noise. Staff were friendly and helpful. The parking garage is right next to and attached to the hotel. At the time of my stay (Mar 2024), it was €15 for the night and good until 12pm the next day. Kind of wish it based on a 24-hour period but understand it's meant to accommodate the guests for the day. To stay after 12pm, it was an additional €2.40/hour, which was reasonable (mainly because we didn't want to bother moving the car for a couple of hours, lol).

Everything about the hotel was excellent except for one tiny thing. The only beer they had was Cruzcampo which I don't like. Other than that everything else was superb.

Are around hotel was full of graffiti. Hotel carpet smell of popurrí was too strong.

We planned a day stop-over in Ronda and needed a hotel with parking for our hire car. The email communication with El Tajo on this was the best of the 3 hotels we used during our trip in Andalusia. The only thing it would have been helpful to know would be that you have to pull up in front of the hotel and ask the staff to let you into the car park (we ended up parking 10 mins away and having to move our car after we’d checked in!) the car park is secure and spaces are of a reasonable size and reasonably priced at €15 for the day. The location is handy for bars, restaurants, shopping and viewing the “new” bridge which is stunning. The room was simple, quite small, but very comfortable and clean. We weren’t sure if breakfast was included at check in (although I was sure I’d requested it when I booked on Hotels.com - again more clarity on this would be helpful on the documents provided after booking), but in the end it was and a nice simple buffet and just what we needed. There’s a vending machine in reception as well with drinks and snacks for €1.5 Staff were friendly - we didn’t try out the spa, but it’s €15 per hour and you need to book. The only thing I found a bit odd was everywhere smelled very strongly of air fresheners - quite a sweet fragrance - I don’t think it was necessary to be quite so strong! Overall a good experience and good value for money

A little hotel in downtown. Clean rooms, breakfast very simple. Not impress. The parking area, super small. Bed was not so comfy (3/5), but at least a big size. Everything very clean. Big size bathroom. It was a raining day. They don't have extra umbrellas for guess.
