Amazing property in middle of forest. Spacious and comfortable room with private terrace. Grounds and pool very well kept with a bar that remains ppen till late. Friendly staff and taxi available on call to any destination and very affordable.

Beautiful hotel and nice sized rooms. Due to hotel within rainforest, humidity always seems to be high even with air conditioning . Restaurant service on slow side, food was Ok. Did not select breakfast option as we were out and about early. Gym not air conditioned and on the small side. Swimming pool looks nice, jacuzzi was warm not hot. Spa prices were very reasonable but couldn’t try as they were very popular

Hotel is located in town's outskirt with great sense of nature. It's ~25 min drive to Iguazu National Park. Around ~20 min to downtown. Staff are responsive. Only front desk can hold good enough English conversations. From the amenities: - SPA service is really good and highly recommended - Good size and clean pool and jacuzzi - Decent Gym with few treadmills, not many weights though - A few hike trails to roll early morning - Breakfast is very convenient and buffet with great verities of foods, pastries and fruits with custom preps by order - There is only one restaurant on the premise with REALLY slow service. Good food though but it's monopoly. As Expedia VIP GOLD tier, none of perks was honored by this stay despite some known availability.

My favourite hotel in Iguazzu. Great swimming pool and jacuzzi. Rooms are spacious , clean and very tidy. Nicely designed too. Restaurent was superb and top breakfast. I stayed in two hotels in this area during my trip and this one was my favourite. Don’t hesitate

I stayed at the Mercure Hotel for 3-nights on a trip with a friend to visit Iguazú Falls. PROS: We booked a double room with two twin beds — the room was a good size and was really nice and clean, but the beds were small. Aside from that, I really enjoyed the shower as it was very spacious and had both a rain shower and handheld option. The staff cleaned our room everyday and left it super clean. The hotel is in the middle of the rainforest and the grounds were well-kept. Sleeping with the window open at night (they have screens) and falling asleep to real rainforest sounds was amazing! The pool area is also super nice and has a bar that’s open until midnight with friendly staff. CONS: The food!!! Our first night there we were exhausted and hungry, so we decided to go to the hotel’s restaurant for dinner — big mistake. We were really disappointed not only by the food, but by the service as well. It took about an hour to get our food and it was not good at all and a bit cold. Our reservation didn’t include the hotel’s buffet breakfast so we sat in the bar area and ordered. Again, the service was very slow. The three mornings we were there it took forever to order and get our food, then when we finally got it we had to rush to eat before our tour guide arrived. OVERALL: I would give this hotel four stars and would stay here again if visiting Iguazú, but I would avoid the restaurant and make sure to get to breakfast super early!

Very nice stay! It would have been nice if the restaurant and pool bar were open, but maybe next time! Our junior suite was fabulous, and it was nice to hear the sounds of the rainforest in the morning.

Our stay at the Mercure Hotel was good. But for that price, some facilities such as the spa was poor and disappointing .. there was a lack of adequate variety in the food menu and the services at the reception and concierge could be much better

Inadequate signs to get to the rooms. No complimentary water from day 2. No pool bar service even though the inside bar was open and there were many guests at the pool. Front desk staff were unhelpful and lacked customer service skills. Restaurant staff however were great and friendly.

5/10. The hotel is nice, very modern. The staff was accommodating at check in. The pool is very cold and the jacuzzi water is not hot at all. The spa Amenities are good, the massage was great however I think that sauna and steam room SHOULD be included in the stay not an additional charge given the hotel price per night. The breakfast buffet is excellent, and the food at the restaurant for lunch and dinner is very well priced but do not be in a rush as the staff is extremely slow and we waited over 30 minutes for our meals multiple times. It seems that they are very UNDERSTAFFED. Also, there are no restaurants close by the hotel. I went to go ask for slippers at the reception desk and I was told that I need to pay extra for that. It seems UNREASONABLE that the hotel can’t provide slippers. Overall, the hotel is nice and charges high price but the services they provide does NOT MATCH a high standard hotel. I feel I did not have the service I would expect.

Great place to relax after a long day. Staff friendly, sometimes they seemed overwhelmed especially in the restaurant because the hotel was full. I would go back for sure.

Beautiful grounds; very relaxing to fall asleep and awake to the sounds of the jungle. Tasty restaurant; basic meals cooked well.

Pool and nature exposure combined for a pleasant stay. Nice and client oriented staff plus great food made the experience very satisfying.

Front desk staff were particularly helpful in booking a trip to the Brazilian side of the falls. Restaurant staff deserve extra points for effort! I have stayed in a lot of Accor hotels and this was one of the nicest. Surrounded by nature and the jungle, the most comfortable beds. Glad we stayed there.

Couldn’t fault this hotel , room perfect pool lovely , food at dinner lovely breakfast ok Not near town so didn’t go as only stayed one night .. felt so calm and relaxing with great cocktails. Staff went above and beyond to help as soon as we arrived as left phone in taxi. Patricia and another gentleman sorry didn’t catch name were amazing thank you. Wish we could of stayed longer Would definitely return

Nice modern hotel with good design nicely integrated into lush vegetation surrounding it. Quite expensive for what you get. Very clean. Beautiful pool area, but with limited sun due to vegetation. The hotel is isolated so you will have to take taxi for everything. The city of Puerto de Iguazu is only 5 minutes away by car, though. Uneven service. Not most welcoming/ informative service at check-in. Service at restaurant extremely slow, even though waiters were friendly - food is quite mediocre and overpriced, so eat somewhere else if you have the option.

Excellent! The rooms were clean and quiet. It was amazing to wake up to the sounds of various birds. It truly felt like in the middle of the rainforest. The staff were all very friendly. Good gym. The only disappointment was the outdoor hot tub which was packed with two dozen men drinking and had no space. We were only there for the night and really looked for using the hot tub.
