Great value for money and facilities at this charming hotel. The spa facilities were nice and so was breakfast. Best part was service as staff were super friendly and helpful during our stay, thank you!

High inflation is killing value in Switzerland but this hotel can provide a good compromise.

Friendly staff. But best was the cleanliness of the room, no air freshener used so it was just clean mountain air.

Excellent three-star hotel with friendly staff. The only major complaint was that the bed was uncomfortable. That mattress was not at hotel standards, and I used two single mattresses for the double bed, which was very uncomfortable.

This hotel is fantastic. Close to everything. Staff is amazing. View from the room is breath taking. Breakfast is very good and all amenities in this hotel is superb. I highly recommend and will come back.

Overpriced for what it is

Hotel Montpelier is a gem that anyone visiting Verbier needs to discover. The rooms are good and the breakfast is great but what really makes the difference is the warmth of the staff. The kids and I loved our stay at the hotel.

Very friendly helpful staff, everywhere was clean and tidy. Good Continental breakfast selection. 1st floor room overlooking the main road (see photo for the view from the balcony). Maybe their 'Hotels.com' room... But was still good. Boiler system broke down, so no hot water for around 12 hours, the morning cold shower definitely wakes you up. But these things can't be helped. The pool was okay but unfortunately the sauna wasn't open. (maybe Covid related?) But would stay here again.

Fantastic location, 10 minute walk up to the lifts. 5 minutes from supermarket and shops. Underground or street parking options. Friendly staff. Very spacious lounge, dining room and garden. Great for cyclists with locked storage. Small pool but great for relaxing at the end of the day. Overall a lovely hotel and team.

Our stay was fantastic, the staff at the hotel are all very friendly and helpful. Having gone there during these COVID period, the hotel did an outstanding job of serving the buffet breakfast in a very safe and enjoyable manner. We stayed with our dog and the cleaning staff did an excellent job cleaning our room. The view is amazing, the staff is there to always help in any way they can. We will be back again hopefully soon!

For being a 3 star hotel I found everything very high standard, clean and modern. Our children loved the pool. Dinner great, breakfast simple but very good.

The hotel is clean and well run. The decor is good, with an excellent lift and decent spa/swimming pool with lovely views of the mountains.The rooms we were given were small (as is common, when booking through Expedia) but clean and well furnished, and the breakfasts were excellent.The major problem with this hotel is that there is no restaurant - which is not apparent from the website because it shows a dining area. This, of course is just for breakfast.Normally this would not be a problem but Verbier is a very busy place and eating out is a real challenge. During half-term, virtually all bookable restaurants were full so the only option was to queue for a table. Also, the hotel is 900m from the village so a walk or bus is required before you have to queue...Sadly, our impression of Verbier is one of queueing - queue for lunch, queue for dinner and queue for ski lifts.There are better run resorts in Switzerland so we won't be going back.

I loved this hotel ! We spent three nights there whilst visiting my son. The staff are amazing. So friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The views from the pool were breathtaking. I especially loved the sauna and the water jets in the pool. Very relaxing after a long day on the slopes. We appreciated the boot warmers in the Ski Boot room. The reception area is very welcoming and the main lounge area has wonderfully comfortable chairs and cushions. Breakfast was well-presented with plenty of choice . I loved the back garden area and the views. Our room had a balcony with views towards the distant mountains. It had everything we needed, including a hairdryer and fantastic bathroom. I will definitely return to Hotel Montpellier !

Great facilities, cleanliness and facilities. Staff extremely helpful and friendly and the location was great for picking up the ski bus which takes about 5-10 mins to get to the main Verbier lift.On site ski shop is great though it would be great if this was open a bit earlier than 4pm in the afternoons.regardsMark

Lovely accommodations for our family. Ample space, great breakfast and amazing view from our balcony. All amenities were clean and lovely- loved the pool and wellness areas. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
