What a find ! Nice hotel is an oasis to relax and recover in comfort in fascinating surroundings and day core. The food is superb served by an imaginative chef and team. My two nights were not enough. Highly recommend

I’d like to say a big thank you to Terry! I sent photos of the rooms to everyone and they all loved how luxurious the rooms looked. Every detail was looked after, and I especially loved the bay window in my room.

I absolutely loved staying at the Nice Hotel, it was a clean and comfortable room. Great atmosphere and the food in the restaurant was wonderful.
If anything the maid wanted to clean the room 1,5 h prior to check out time. If was a someone that wanted to sleep in that would have been annoying, as I was in the middle of a online meeting I had to put people on hold to talk to her. Other than that wonderful.

Loved the silver milk jug in our room, comfortable bed, jazzy pictures, robes, spa bath, port in the wee library, everything was quirky. Dog friendly too. The restaurant looked fabulous, so much to see. Friendly hosts.

Right next to a main road so could be a little traffic noise at night. Very central and right opposite St Mary's Cathedral

We had a lovely time at The Nice. Great atmosphere, decor, close to CBD, waterfront & Pukekura Park. Staff were very pleasant & helpful. Great restaurant for dinner. Next time we'll book one of the rooms that doesn't back onto Vivian St, which gets very busy & noisy.

Best Hotel in New Zeeland! Fantastic food and good advice abut wine. Lovely staff and the owner is in top of everything. The have a really nice social space outdoor and in door. I am from Sweden any have traveled a lot and seen lots of good hotels and this one is unique in a good way. //Peter

Everything was great apart from a water drip outside our window, the consequence of heavy rain. We alerted the team to this and they apologised but were grateful for the heads-up.

A fabulously sumptuous hotel in central New Plymouth, beautify decor and furnishings and friendly staff reminds me of the old Langham in Auckland before the “modernised” it.. Wine collection is extensive which is great to see, Food is beautiful presented and well made. So thank you making our stay in New Plymouth enjoyable. Only down side is some general maintenance could do with some TLC e.e broken locks, missing paint from doors and frames
