We loved our stay. Apartment is a little aged but was very spacious and perfect for my family. Kids loved with warm pool and outdoor spa. Great parking options for our cars. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Beach is literally across the road, just a sort 2 minute work. The bowls club across the road does a great dinner and breaky. Highly recommend Sandcastles Apartment. We will definitely be back!

In 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment. Quiet location. Bed was comfortable. Newish carpet, renovated bathroom and kitchen. Aircon, secure underground parking. Apartment requires updating. Curtains half on hooks, old leather lounge disgustingly very well worn, toilet seat very loose, kitchen drawers had crumbs in them so emptied and cleaned them, no prior warning of no lifts on property so had to carry suitcases etc up 3 flights of stairs. Coffee shops nearby. Opposite Park Beach Bowls Club and Hoey Moey Hotel.

It was a great spot, just looking a bit aged and I thought a few areas in the rooms good have been cleaner, the curtains were falling off window. and the quilt covers a bit ugly.
Also the outdoor area around pool area good have an update, the plants didn’t look very good in pots, and no real private areas.

Loved our stay at this place. The staff were really helpful and friendly, as were other guests and residents. The pool was excellent - the water was the perfect temperature. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. Thanks, Sandcastles!

The room they gave me was run down, blinds in the lounge and bedroom did not work properly. Wall behind main bed had cracks in the join door of a morning the sun was coming thru the cracks including the wind. Terrible cleanliness, damaged tiles in bathroom. Opened up cupboard under sink to find mouldy garbage and fruit in bin which had not been cleaned causing a large swarm of fruit flies. I had to change rooms. Second room was slightly better however the complex is run down and the prices they charge are high for the condition of the apartments.

Smelly, dirty. From the 90’s and smells and looks like it has not been cleaned since then. Drunks outside the room all night till 3am. Mainly just a stinky dirty unit - do yourself a favour and book somewhere else

Although our stay was pleasant with all the amenities you could ask for, the apartment seemed old and musty. The unit was very spacious, although some of the plates were still dirty and had to be rewashed before using, the main bedroom had stains on the carpet. In saying all of this, we would stay here again.

Our apartment however had a hot water heater in our bedroom wardrobe which made loud noises at all hours of the night.

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay at Sandcastles. The staff were friendly and had a good understanding of the local area and tours. The apartment we stayed in was wonderful. It was comfortable and clean and the balcony overlooked the pool area. We could not fault the location. Sandcastles is located right on Park Beach. The Hoey Moey Bar and restaurant was right down the street and bowls club right across the road with both offering great food and atmosphere. It was an easy and picturesque walk to get to the Coffs Harbour Jetty and foreshore. Overall, we were super impressed with our stay and would highly recommend Sandcastles to our family and friends.
