Grant Street Inn is a beautiful place to stay in Bloomington.
We have coming to bloomington fir 8 years dropping off our college students but this was the first time staying there.
We would definitely stay there again

Hot Breakfast served was fatata with bacon on the side was tasty and good,service was very good. Bed and pillows comfortable and clean. Its an older building, within a college walkable town.

I can’t give this place enough stars!! This was one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in. The Inn is beautiful, clean, quaint and welcoming. Location is perfect. My room was newly renovated and absolutely beautiful. We had breakfast, served by very friendly staff and it was SO good. They had a ton of choices for breakfast and everything was made from scratch and very fresh. Way way better than anything you’d get at a chain hotel. I LOVED this place!!!

Beautiful place to stay. I love the pictures on the wall that tell the story of how the Inn came to be. Breakfast was delicious and staff was super friendly. If we are ever in the area again that’s where we will be staying!

Loved it! Second time we have stayed there. The Inn is adorable. The breakfast is wonderful. You even get a snack when you checkin. The first day the snack was a chocolate chip cookie bar and the second day it was a cherry pie bar.

A few things could have been better. I wouldn't rate it as a 4 star hotel, like it's listed. A few things in the room weren't working and didn't get fixed after I brought it to their attention, but they extended checkout by 2 hours as an apology, reluctantly. It was fine but not for the price. I'll be staying somewhere else next time.

We stayed in the 'new' annex across the street. NOTE it has steps up (we requested none). Large, nice room, great linens. No closet? Just a waist-size bar behind an ironing board. Yummy breakfasts.

The Grant Inn was the perfect hideaway for a quick 2 day trip to visit Indiana University for our student. The inn was well located close to the downtown area and walking distance to campus. The history of the buildings was on display and the room was quant and spacious. The staff was welcoming, breakfast was delicious. We had an excellent visit.

The entrance was cute and inviting, the decor also fit with the older home vibe. The bed was quite comfortable, decent sized room. Although we didn’t need them, there was no refrigerator, coffee maker or microwave in the room. The bathroom could have been cleaner, or maybe renovated as the grout looked either stained or dirty. Breakfast was definitely better than most hotels, the carrot cake was heavenly. I would stay here again for sure.

The fold out couch could not even be used. The mattress was so think you could see the bars when you opened it up. Nothing could be done, I checked. Our towels were dirty but we made it work.

The air conditioning in the room wasn't working properly and the whole room, including the sheets felt damp. The breakfast was excellent, above and beyond my expectations. The attendant checking me in was pleasant.

The Inn's main house is lovely. The breakfast is delicious and offers a nice variety of hot and cold items. The staff, especially the woman managing the breakfast area, were courteous and accommodating. The bedding was high quality. The location is great. It is within walking distance to "downtown" and the IU campus. I had a problem in my first room and staff were able to move me to another room. Unfortunately, the man at the front desk didn't follow through and move my packed belongings as we discussed (I was going to be out all day with family.) The woman at the desk later that day (when I realized my new room didn't have my luggage), assisted me in retrieving my things still sitting in the old room. I did notice the small wall AC units in both rooms seemed to struggle to dehumidify the rooms on the 95 degree days I was in Bloomington.
