booked and paid more for a room with a balcony. Got in my room, no balcony. Complained and was told that no balconies existed in the hotel, only windows. Showed the reception a picture of a room with a balcony and he changed his story to "there are only 2 rooms with a balcony and they are occupied" I said but I paid for one, it is my room. He just repeated occupied and turned away. Basically ripped off for $25 extra a night.

It is within the Ciudad Amurallada area and close to nice bars and restaurants, I will like to stay here in my next visit.

The rooms were pretty clean. However, I took the sheet off of the bed and found the mattress cover to have stains on it as well as the pillows under the cases. Those should be washed regularly as well. The staff were pretty good, although only one staff member that I ran into, during my 5 night stay, spoke English; which is fine (I can and did use Google translate as my Spanish is fairly basic), they just didn't seem to want to interact with me due to the language barrier. If you dont speak Spanish or speak minimal, have Google translate handy. The location cannot be beat as it is very walkable and there are many great restaurants in the area. I am travelling solo and never felt unsafe anywhere I walked in this area. Breakfast was included and was good each time; a second coffee would be fantastic! All in all, a really great little boutique hotel.

Sweet, affordable and very convenient. In lively Getsemani area but just off the main area so nice and quiet. Lovely staff, nice breakfast included. Good air conditioning, but room smelled a little damp. Rooftop pool is very small, but does the job of cooling you down!

Super cute place for a cheaper price!! It was a quick walk everywhere and there was food open late around here. Such a lovely staff and breakfast! They will help you with whatever you may need.

the worst hotel, they always gave us dirty and stained towels, the television never worked and the light was damaged all the time, the lady at the front desk is a liar, don't trust it, The only worthwhile people there are the kitchen staff.

Loved our stay here! Beautiful property and rooms. Restrooms are a little small, but not bad at all! Right near a popular restaurant/shopping area. Very fun stay!

Staff was very friendly and helpful

Good place for the price with good breakfast and clean rooms. It is a bit dated and spartan in the fit and finish department. Room was flooded when rain water seeped in but the staff quickly resolved it. Ac was strong and everything else was fine.

The hotel is in a quieter part of Getsemani which was nice. We didn’t have to hear all the late night noise. The staff was super friendly and breakfast was made to order. The room was pretty bare and not the most comfortable given how beautiful the interior of the hotel was but overall we enjoyed our stay.

My only negative comment is they advertise a lounge on website that they dont have. They only have a cooler with beer and water, etc.

Rude receptionist on arrival, condescending and impolite. When additional face clothes requested two hours into stay, everything was an inconvenience for him. During stay, bathroom ceiling collapsed and fell in. Had to move rooms. Room cleanliness was marginal at best. Room service and housekeeping was slow to respond. 3/10 stars at best. Would I stay again? No. We’ve stayed at other boutique hotels in Cartagena and they were amazing. This one needs some work.

Clean, close to the attractions

Clean and comfortable. Right in the heart of the lively getsamani district, but far enough away from the main streets to not be too noisy. About a 10-15 minute walk to the walled city. Breakfast was very good. The rooftop pool was a great place to take a break from the middday heat.

It was in a great spot in Getsmani. Not far from Centro. The staff were accommodating. One of the few places on our 3 week stay that also spoke English in the hotel.

Great location but we got caught in a bait and switch - we upgraded the room which was postage stamp size to an "adequate" sized room - other than that and the increased costs the property was in line of others we stayed at for the price.

This is a great property at its price point. It’s in a great and accessible location. I would use it again. However, be aware, no friends are allowed. I was attending a conference and tried hanging out with one of my colleagues using the hotel’s amenities and he was stopped from passing the lobby. That aspect was very intrusive I felt.

Well located close to a park leading to the Cartagena walled city. Comfortable room. Good breakfast and very clean. Staff were very friendly.

The location of the hotel was freat. The room was big and the bathroom as well. Pretty clean and bed was comfortable. AC was working pretty well. The wifi didn't work at all or barely and the shower was cold. Took forever to have it a bit warm and still.. never hot. There is construction right in front of the hotel so kind of noisy from 7am to 9-10pm when i was there

A beautiful little hotel with friendly and helpful staff, walking distance to everything in Old Town. Very reasonable prices, nice breakfast included
